We can argue about how climate change is happening, but how can anyone deny the world is changing, geographically. When we deny the ground disappearing beneath our feet, we become doomed to not being prepared.

What I learned about climate deniers is that, you can't argue with idiots...they might look like human but they don't have the gear in their brains to process information related to the environment.

When the newspaper headlines came out a few years ago (3) with the headline "Worst case scenario for rising sea levels," people all over could finally read the data from NOOA.
First of all, the sea levels have been rising for over 200,000 years, from the last ice age.
So, it must also be included with the data.
Now, all global warming predictions have been moved to the years 2100.. so you probably won't be alive for it.
They had to do this because too many predictions were not panning out.
The UN declaring we had until the year 2000 before it was too late.
      The movie "The inconvient truth".
Remember the hockey stick graph back in 2006? Most of Micheal Mann's science was refuted by the science community when they did the scientific thing of reproducing the climate models. There findings have been peered reviewed and cited when the papers were filed.
Then there was the sea level rising 6 feet in 2013.
Also, the end of snow articles.
Where In 2000, climate scientist David Viner, with the University of East Anglia, told reporters, “Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.” Viner argued global warming would make snowfall “a very rare and exciting event”.
      And the list goes on....
So, according to NOOA, the worst case scenario in 77 years from now will be 1 foot 4 inches.
There is a bit of a caveat though.
In parts of the Pacific Northwest, the sea levels are dropping.
Well not really dropping but the land is still rising due to the rebound effect from the last ice age.
I saw this when I went to the ancient ruins of the city of Ephesus.
When the city existed, it was a port city on the coast of what's now called Turkey.
When I went, it was 6 kilometers in land.

Take a good look at the artwork from a book called New York: 2140. The cities will look similar to that. Parts of Tokyo will look like that too.

Funny, as a child in the 1970s and 80s (I am now 49) I read in old books belonging to my mom of predictions by Edgar Cayce (a psychic) about major cities in coastal areas, including New York, going underwater in the near future. And now it's on the way to happening! Very sad...I lived in New York for several years in the late 1990s and did my first NGO internship there - loved the cultural diversity, the arts and music and publishing, the museums and parks so much...much better city than Atlanta where I had grown up...was so amazed at public transport like the subway and buses going everywhere, how safe it was at night, and how people of all different ethnic groups together could ride the subway together without conflict. I hope people manage to save and protect this city!

    Utter nonsense.
Sea level appears to be rising at a small and steady 3mm per year. It is neither acclerating or decelerating. The trend is linear. As regards NOAA tide gauge data, let's look at some examples from around the world. N.B. All sites show a linear Relative Sea Level Trend: Kanmen, China 2.40mm/yr; Sydney, Australia 0.75mm/yr; Ferandina Beach, Florida 2.20mm/yr; Los Angeles, California 1.04mm/yr; Mera, Japan 3.8mm; Cascais, Portugal 1.32mm/yr. Remember, all linear over many decades, or more than a century. No acceleration (or deceleration for that matter).
Anyway, if you prefer satellite data NOAA's trend was +3.0mm/year Global Mean Sea Level (1993-2022), again linear last time I looked (but hey, it may have accelerated in the last month).
NASA satellite data (1993-present) for Global Mean Sea Level shows a linear rise of 3.3mm per year.
All linear. No acceleration, so no relationship to the exponential increase in CO2 in the atmosphere. It's going to be decades before even your big toe is submerged.

they could, or should they try again, all that garbage though, all of that first, maybe to the deepest ocean. The buildings remain of stone wood and steel, to make better foundations. Streets like aqudects, and let the earth take its time in its foundations, for the buildings 6- stories tall, can remain. But, how long will the sea rise? I already have, let the oceans in but calm them, clean your messes before they become your coastlines, kinda neat transportation as well. Some will stay until they cannot. Waffle
