- One Tree Hill last 5 minutes of season 6 episode 24.
This is just the last 5 minutes cause I just wanted to give everyone a chance to see it. Hope that season 7 will be as good as 6 and that Lucas and Peyton won't leave. Just like The O.C when they killed off Marissa and the show dropped dead.
- Nathan got to play in the NBA Charlotte Bobcats
- Dan Scott seeks redemption and realises he did wrong.
- Mia & Chase are still very much in love.
- Julian & Brooke are together.
- Lucas & Peyton are married and Peyton gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Sawyer.
- They drove away with their stuff...Will they ever come back? Who knows...(Hope they do)
Sources have been saying that they haven't renewed their contracts. I hope it's just a publicity stunt or a joke and that they will reappear in season 7. On the other hand my info tells me that there are gonna be 2 new characters joining us. 1: Haley's older sister....2: A sports agent/coach for Nathan 3: A diva likish something for Brooke. And that Julian will become a regular in the show.

This should have been the series finale. If it was book it would have ended here. Lucas got his dream (Peyton), Peyton finally realized she deserved to be happy, Brooke realized she deserved real love, Nathan got his dream of his family and playing in the NBA and Dan Scott ended up alone and dying. The voice over, while a bit corny, gets to me because each of them are reaffirming that they got what they desired and deserved (even Dan).

Not the usual cliffie of OTH for a finale- but without a doubt the BEST season finale of OTH I've ever seen. I'll miss Leyton- but kudos to the writers for giving them the happy ending they deserved- and what a cute baby! Their kiss and Sawyer's smile at the end cinched it for me. :) And I love all the uplifting words at the end- what every person needs to hear, I think - love Julian & Brooke too and Naley...Thank you so much for posting! This is another OTH season I just might have to buy.
As much that I'm glad that they show lasted three more seasons, this episode would have made a great series finale. This CODA would have made a perfect ending for a series finale especially with Lucas, Peyton and Sawyer driving off and zooming out to the river court.
Brooke and Julian didn't lose their spark. They had their own little journey. And I was sad abt peyton and Luke, too because they were always my favorite, but now I'm not. Their story was told. So glad we true fans got 3 more seasons :)
This ending will never fail to make me smile :)
This was my favorite season out of all OTH was too amazing. I wish Chad and Hilarie came back for 7 8 and 9 I love 7 8 and 9 and the new cast/old case and story lines though.
For me this was when One Tree Hill ended. The other 3 seasons didn't make sense but I liked season 9 because it had more of Dan Scott

Anyone who says it should have stopped here and stopped watching it should go watch the season 9 finale. watch that episode and you will see why they didn't stop it at season 6. oth had so much more to give than six seasons. I used to think this was a perfect finale. but the season 9 finale definitely topped it.

Season 9 may have been good but I still say it should have ended here. It just wasn't the same without Lucas and Peyton. Worst of all, Mark made it seem like they just all weren't friends anymore... like Lucas and Peyton didn't even keep in touch with anyone! That ruined everything for me. And the finale just couldn't be perfect without L&P. I wish I had stopped watching it from here.

I would have been happy with One Tree Hill ending the show this way. it brings closure to the characters and left viewers happy. especially when you see all the characters dreams coming true finally after 6 seasons because its the basis of this entire show. i liked season 7 even with leyton missing, but this would have been a perfect ending. but I'll always support this amazing show, and im sooo happy they're coming back strong for another season!

I agree somewhat. It was the best in the first 2-3 seasons but it isnt terrible....I mean they are gonna fail in season 7 without lucas and peyton! but still if there is gonna be a failure season its gonna be this one. In the end of season 7 we probably even wont remember Lucas and Peyton. But I still keep my hopes up that their gonna be in seaosn 7, like the whole ging away thing was a gag or a joke!

I agree that this is kind of a seriews finale cause the nex season is gonna suck so much without peyton and lucas. I just hope its a joke or soemthing or that they change their minds :(

it was confirmed by Cwnetwork that they werent coming back. And there was a whole press conference etc about it. I think its so wrong. The same thing happened with The O.C with Mischa Barton/Marissa and when she went away the whole series fell apart.
@heatluvsemoboys also in that finale, everything came together and was resolved. Everyone had their happy endings and acheived the dreams they'd been reaching for since the beginning. But that's just my opinion, I too thought that i'd love OTH forever as long as it never ended, but not at the expense of keeping it a decent show, which I don't think season seven has done. I'm dissappointed in many of this season's storylines, they are overreaching for ideas to keep the story interesting
all babies can smile, and move somewhat no matter how big or small. And you think their gonna let peyton handle a real new born baby...you should see her on set she drops everything and is clumsy as hell XD

@xMissLeahClearwaterx Chad wanted more money for his part in the show. The producers didn't want to give him more so he quit. This he also confirmed. And the producers also acknowledged that they didn't have any use for Peyton without Lucas so she was killed off with Lucas because their a couple. Besides you can be in a hitseries and have a child. What about Jackson (Jamie) he is still in school,he finds the time for OTH.
Im sure Hilarie was killed off because Lucas left. Shame though miss them

@Vide0mak3r They won't :( Mark Schwan confirmed it, they couldn't because of schedule problems and they've already filmed the wedding. But he and Hilarie and Chad all said that they want to return some time after that, if they can so I'm hoping at least that can happen :) It would be horrible if the series ended without them returning at least once.
@Vide0mak3r I disagree, i think the finale of season six was perfect to end with. Brooke went after Julian, skillz is with that teacher lady, and Dan...well nothing was more dramatic than his scenes with peyton and sawyer...holding her and knowing that she would never know him as anyone other than a murderer and that all his children, grandchildren, etc wanted nothing to do with him and would rather he were dead, which was made clear that would be fairly soon

Chad wanted more money but the producers weren't going to give it so without a Lucas there aint a Peyton so she had to move on aswell. YOUR ARE SO RIGHT, DOESNT FEEL REAL OTH ANYMORE. Watching s7 is nice but it isnt the real deal if ya know what I mean :p

@xMissLeahClearwaterx Hilarie had a baby with Jeffery Dean Morgan (if you've ever watched Supernatural, you'll know who he is) and as far as I know, the writers didn't kill off Peyton...

Dan should have been let back in. Next season maybe. But I guess they wanted to make a cliffhanger for the rest fo the characters. It would be a major bummer if this would be a series finale! XD
It did end up happy but I think their should be more to it.

I just don't understand why did lucas and peyton leave... i mean, didn't lucas make a surprise for peyton by making a beautiful baby room, full of baby stuff? I mean, would you leave the town where your friends and family are with a house whith all you need, just like that? Doesn't make any sense does it? And I guess all fans like me would love to see the leyton couple as parents now. But who knows... there's always hope they come back. It's still the best show ever, but doesn't feel like oth.
