I love Clip studio I use it on a 2 in 1 laptop. I used the 3-month free trial and I bought it right after for $25 it was half off at the time. They also have a monthly dollar plan. I think my favorite feature is the manga/comic panel tools and my favorite brush is the gouache brush. For custom brushes, I'd say the battlefield dust brush. Honestly, I don't think I'll get a different drawing program anytime soon. Clip studio paint is immaculate.
Cecelia Eastland I’ve had it for a couple of days and just from using it for such a short amount of time I feel the same exact way! It truly is the most accessible program for comics. I used to use MediBang paint but I outgrew that, clip art is great, I’m thinking about buying it all at once.b
what 2-1 are you using and how responsive do you find your set up?
@@jackjude It's the HP Envy X360 2-in-1 15.6In core i7 laptop. I bought it at best buy last year for about $1,200 and it works quite smoothly very responsive. The stylus I used is the Wacom Bamboo stylus it has 3 extra nibs with one already attached to the stylus. It's an okay stylus. I've also started trying clip studio on my Samsung galaxy tablet my only problem is my screen needs to be bigger so I'm saving to upgrade to the S7+ tablet because it's 12in. The program works smoothly and the stylus is very nice I just wish I had more room.
@@SuperGeekSOS Thanks for the response :) That's good to know, I shall put the envy on my list. I'm using Clip Studio too on my Tab S4, it's great the app remembers where you position the pop up palettes, I made them shortcuts and put them all in the same place, next to the shortcut panel. I've managed to get the UI looking quiet minimal. I also got the immersive app to remove the tablet's status bar, to free up more room (the screen now fits another short-cut key in landscape mode). Also put stuff like the 'command bar' on shortcut.

My go-to stylus pen for drawing/painting on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is the STAEDTLER Norris Digital Jumbo EMR stylus pen.
I love the result! 😍 I’ve never painted digitally but now I want to try it!
This video was refreshing to see an artist that I love using something other than Photoshop or procreate. I love watching those videos, but I don't have either and they are too expensive to get (especially procreate which involves the purchase of an iPad). I typically use the Sketchbook app, but I think having seen this I might give this a whirl and see if it works just as smoothly on my surface pro!! Way to go Pypah!

I know that program,! I use it in my digital art class!
Krita is great.
except clip studio is way better

Love ClipStudioPaint! I didn't know they had an app version. I used to use it on my laptop before I started diving into Photoshop. Amazing drawing!

You should try IArtbook Pro - it has great blending brushes, thumb gestures support, has low battery usage, it is easy to use and has dockable color wheel, fav brushes and other panels

beautiful. That gouache is the s**t. Can't wait to see you animate on it. I've been really tempted by clip studio for months now. I wonder if you were using the EX? As the menu showed 3d as an option. The site shows comparisons between editions and if e.g. you want to export animation cels and time sheet you have to use EX. But none of it is hugely expensive anyway

I learned a lot from this. I was thinking of getting a Wacom Cintiq or a Huion Kamvas 13 to draw manga but an iPad seems to do the job. I like how you can just tap and erase stuff. The only thing I don’t like about clip studio for the iPad is the monthly subscription 😩. This is going to eat my wallet little by little lol

I've had Clip Studio Paint for a few years but never really seriously started using it until this year lol really like the Assets you can download, so many things to use :)

I'm still starting out on digital media but I used CSP free version and found it very beginner friendly. I had only used Medibang Paint pro before experimenting with CSP and honestly I found it confusing XD So I really liked CSP from the very start and it has really coool brushes! I also think it is very versatile. Honestly, a good buy when it's on sale ^^ It was wonderful seeing you trying it out! És incrível! Love from Portugal! :D

This is a wonderful illustration. I've been using CSP for a while and I love it; I actually prefer it over Procreate. I have the license to both versions; however, I only use EX on my desktop. I hate that you have to pay a subscription on the iPad because I really want to use it on that; I like the brush options and the interface. Don't get me wrong, Procreate is a good program, but I like Clip better. 😉
I got CSP pro bc it came in a bundle with a new tablet I got recently, so I've been using it on my laptop and I love it so far! It's actually so fun. still getting used to it and figuring out my coloring process, but honestly I was using SAI before and I don't know if I'll go back.
Never tried it on the iPad. But CSP is definitely fantastic on desktop imo

This is actually the best program for explicitly drawing - but I've steered clear from this version due to the simple fact that it is subscription based. I will stick to the desktop version.
