Oralia wouldn’t be homophonic because the Boiling isles was never introduced to it. It’s surprising that Philip never claimed that that the Titan hates gay people, but I guess it wouldn’t matter what sexuality his victim were. And that would make more people not want to join a coven.
Better to be efficent or hell considering he makes no sus comments at all Belos just might be the most progressive fucker from the 1600s who is planing genocide.
I figure he just saw it as one more reason to destroy all of them. That since he was going to kill all of them anyway, he didn't have a reason to try and stop them.
I love that Ed and Em led Amity into that "What do you think she'd say" because they noticed Luz out on the balcony. The fandom positively exploded after _that_ scene. Reactors were going nuts, Elijah actually _hurt_ herself, it was crazy.
Aladors little "But you almost had it sweetie" with the shield. Such a cute lil moment since knowing Amity, she probably did almost break it. Good for her.
I never noticed till now that “Luz” did the flashstep thing to save Willow, I had to rewind a couple times to make sure I was seeing that right, and when I did I was like ‘holy crap! They foreshadowed it!’
Makes sense. In a world where witches & demons living together is normal & demons come in a wide variety of forms & magic is the basis of normal life, who's gonna be like "Ew, same gender? That's so cringe it makes me wanna commit crimes." People that closed minded & arbitrary probably wouldn't do well in a magical fantasy world. Which is part of the reason stories that focus too much on fantastical bigotry tend to annoy me. Most writers make a magical fantasy world & then segregate the characters off so much it ends up being more mundane than the real world. Come to think of it, it's fitting the only bigot complaining about a specific race & a specific type of magic is secretly a human from Earth.
When I learned that Alicia would be reacting to The Owl House, I knew she would cry over the adorable Lumity gaybies, but this reaction to their kiss exceeded even my wildest expectations. Also, when I kissed my girlfriend for the first time, the next thing I did afterwards was say “ Whoa, Crikey”.
The reason Odalia isn't homophobic is not a credit to her.. homophobia and transphobia is just not a concept that exist in the isles...maybe Belos is homophobic and transphobic tho lol he was a Conservative human from the 1600s afterall
And now... the end is near... and so I face... the end most certain. TLDR, I'll miss this daily reminder of the show I found a year too late to watch live

The entire fandom was dancing all over Disney with that kiss. And notice how the animation in the show gets more fluid when a big fight is happening. That kiss was a fight with Disney!
Alright don't need to be cringe, they just really appreciated the scene and put extra work into it because it mattered to them Don't be a cringe armchair revolutionary
@@samuelclayhills3298 Only to later realize how wrong they were. The reactor is pansexual (meaning, much like bisexuals and omnisexuals, they're attracted to both sexes/all genders), so you shouldn't really be surprised.
If I had a nickel everytime Mela Lee played a short character with an obsessional loyalty to her boss piloting a "mech", I would have two nickel, which isn't much but is weird that it happen twice ^^.
Honestly, now that I think about it, Eda saying that Lilith didn’t have her curse long enough didn’t really make sense. In all honesty, I believe the fact that Lilith already had the Emperor’s Coven sigil is a better excuse because once you get a coven sigil, it’s nearly impossible to remove it, just like it’s nearly impossible to unseal the rest of one’s Magic.
Let's think about this. Odalia was working with Belos to further his plans to complete the Day of Unity, an event where witch genocide occurs. So not only would she end up losing her family (It's not like she cared for them anyway) to the Day of Unity, but she would've ended up ruling a wasteland with pretty much nobody to rule over. This is pretty fucking stupid on her part.
She herself would die too, because although Belos promised her that her family would be spared & given prominent positions in the new world, we all know Phillip/Belos is a witch-hunting, gaslighting, genocidal fascist liar, so he would've killed his supposed allies right alongside his enemies, because he wanted all of witch/demon kind to be "permanently eliminated".
Odalia accepted defeat and gave up way too easily when she’s supposed to be this controlling, fearful and manipulative person. The show made her an abusive, controlling person yet when Alador’s had enough and finally stands up to her she just accepts it without putting up much of a fight, which shows that Alador could’ve easily stood up to her and divorced her a long time ago.
They are in a dire situation where the world is going to end soon and everyone in that room knows it. The fact that she didn't physically attack her kids doesn't mean she's any less abusive, and if the circumstances were more normal, she would probably sue and bribe until she got custody of her kids and Alador was completely out of the business. I understand your perspective, though.
Alicia I suggest you give Tom Barkel (@barkel_tom) a massive love for animating the Kiss The Lumity was Dana way of saying, "Go f**k yourself, Disney!"
Luz carving an egg for her palisman is pretty fitting. Unknown possibilities and brimming with potential.
Also the kiss!

I always like to joke that Phillip only succeeded in taking over the isles when he stopped preaching homophobia
I figure he just saw it as one more reason to destroy all of them. That since he was going to kill all of them anyway, he didn't have a reason to try and stop them.
I kinda like to joke that he's gay himself and since he's a Puritan it also makes him a massive hypocrite.

There's no homophobia on the isles, at all, which means that Odalia gets no credit for not being a homophobe

Yeah, the only phobia that would exist is xenophobia, strictly because Luz is a human witch-in-training, whereas Amity is a native witch.
Alador this episode, in Stolas' voice: "That is the sound of a F*CKING DIVORCE!!!" And he's keeping full custody xd
Right after the Lumity kiss scene, there's a poster behind Amity and it says "This could be you!" 😂
It's a shame that the face alador was making was cut out. I think it's really cute to see where Amity got her flustered/angry/blushing face from.
Season 2 approaches the conclusion, but before then we get our Amazingly animated Crickey moment.
The people who were animated differently were the director's favorite kpop idols.
