      I would LOVE to travel to the blues belt...it would be the biggest influence to my playing I;m sure.
      Never got chance to go there, when I was in L.A. with my old band.
      We were with our record company FLIP RECORDS, and our AR man....who was Limp Bizkit's ,Fred Durst. He said we were better than them...we were gonna be HUGE !! and we had the songs...
      .I was the DJ Lethal of the band.....programming,loops,synths,arranging,writing,and generally sorting out the final points of the songs.....getting the grooves n vibe, perfect on every song....it rocked !
      Maybe I will visit someday...you never know where lifes gonna take you.

    did you just simply run a regular guitar cord into the input for the wah pedal and the little micro cube took a wah okay?

  • @ems1354
    @ems1354 10 років тому +1

    I have a micro cube it has an aug-in on the back to play CD'S mo3

    • @NellySlideGuitar
      @NellySlideGuitar  10 років тому +2

      The problem with using the Aux on the micro cube for backing tracks is it sounds crap...its not really designed for that...(also the 4 inch speaker has a limited frequency response)....lol...just had to put that in there.....Micro Cubes have a great guitar sound.... but is it any good as a PA type thang....no,hence I use another speaker system for backing track. Ahoy

    Nelly is that a Strat pickup in the slide guitar?

    • @NellySlideGuitar
      @NellySlideGuitar  10 років тому

      No, it came with the slide...just some cheap old thang but sounds great...when i bought it I was gonna get a red one but thought I'd compare the blue against the red one just in case,there was a difference.....not expecting there to be one.Boy was I surprised ,the blue one was 10 times better sounding !

  • @lo0ksik
    @lo0ksik 8 років тому

    what kind of inverter (sinoidal?') and battery? (car? 50ah? how long you play at once?

    • @NellySlideGuitar
      @NellySlideGuitar  8 років тому

      Hey take a look in Maplin electronic they sell a 150w inverters ( I got that one ) and also have larger ones ...like 500w but you gonna get less time out of them, as they draw more power from battery. 1-5 hours life depending on how much your amp draws and how big your battery is !! so you gotta do few experiments....I love doing this sort of stuff !! Give it a go.

    • @lo0ksik
      @lo0ksik 8 років тому

      Nelly Slide Guitar but if i use a inverser of 450w, but ampli only uses like 100w, it still draws 450w from battery? the battery need to be deep-cycle ? Thanks alot!

    • @NellySlideGuitar
      @NellySlideGuitar  8 років тому

      No .....but circuit draws more power...use what you need ...keep size small as possible...less weight more battery life/time ! If you can get away with a 150w inverter ...as I do fine...Why get a larger one !!
      Hope this helps you out.

    You're a classic (I bet rough) diamond nelly! Primal scream... Screamadelica! ,man! that album was so fuckin good... It nearly killed primal scream off! Like playing dell boy for David Jason,,, and Rodney for Nicolas Lyndhurst, us Brits loved only fools and horses so much,it was hard for them to play other roles,"type cast" whenever I hear anything else by primal scream... I (with a dash of guilt) automatically compare it to screamadelica and it's never as good(in my opinion) this must be very frustrating for the band....,,, but at the end of the day,only a handful of bands have ever managed to achieve a "bench mark" album like that.. Pink Floyd manged to achieve dark side of the moon and wish you were here,what a band! I always admired floyds talent... But as you've had a bad hand in life(hope your chin's still up) you can appreciate,some things can drag you down further,, Floyd used to make me think to much, I got given dark side of the moon,the record cover has been famous got abut forty years-even on t-shirts! Anyway. One day I stck it on ... And it blew me away!!! I got me to listen to other Floyd albums, a geezer I know worked at Dave Gillmor's house once!....so legend has it ,mr Gillmor said he could go pretymuch anywhere in the hose..apart from up a certain staircase,, like Pandora's box.. This was ultimate temptation.. And he had a look(if this is true,I apologise to mr Gillmor ... But it is a great story) and there was a massive model Galion ship in a glass cabinet...and according again to legend,as he stood gasping in amazement,,Dave came into the room... Went fuckin mental.. And threw him out of the house! Crazy stuff! Anyway man,take it easy.
