I found it a pain to get the large cover reinstalled, this video jumps forward making it look easy. I did find that pulling the carpet at the rear down and toward me finally got the sitting correct. Good luck everyone! This is after O'Reillys told me there was only one filter.

Most likely, replacing the second one is easy
Can you spray some sort of disinfectant like Lysol in the intake area or in the housing of the cabin filter under the dash?

I replaced the OEM combination filter(under-hood, air-intake) today by myself with a febi bilstein cabin filter. I noticed that the OEM one has some light black coat on it, not sure whether it is the activated carbon coating or just dirty (but it looks like not dirty since not obvious big stuff chunk in there)? But I am certain that the febi bilstein cabin filter does not have light black coat on it so it appears totally white. Anyone had experience on replacing the combination filter(under-hood, air-intake) by themselves and could you please tell me whether the OEM one has carbon coating? I am sure that the inside filter(at blower housing) has the carbon coating but idk about the under-hood one. If the under-hood one does have carbon coating then I may purchase a new OEM one.
Also, anyone has idea about the quality of febi bilstein cabin filters?

@@ElvisSCL I would not worry about that much since there are 2 filters. Mind you, some cars still don't have any cabin filter 😉

are you sure for the orientation of the 2nd filter (in cabin) ?
There is a discussion whether rips must be installed in horizontal or vertical direction.
In your video they were oriented horizontally. However there are other videos on UA-cam where they have placed rips vertically.

Guys don't be fooled. Putting back the cabin air filter cover is not that easy.
That's the easiest swap I've seen in any car. My old GM cars requires removing the glove box.
Just not able to find the second one
The second one is inside of the vehicle on passenger side under glove box.
