Hi nice camp in a lovely area, grub looked good too, my wifes a vegan and some of her food looks better than mine. I had a problem with my tent flapping so I've brought some clip clamps to give it a go, also got some ear plugs now too, that should help. Look forward to watching more videos from you. Now that I am back in the game I am trying to get caught up on everyones vids! I watched this one a few months back (and again just now). Regarding the Trekology - looks like the UL80? It has an R-value of 1.6, but even that's not ASTM certified. Having used the same mat myself, and loving it for the most part, I'd take that R-value with a pinch of salt and relegate to to your Summer kit. There's not arguing that it is a mega comfortable mat, I've never slept better on a camp than I have on the UL80! But as soon as the weather begins to cool it's time to pack it away in favour of something more suited to insulating you from the ground. The OEX Leviathan EV900 is an AMAZING sleeping bag for the money, as I am sure you are well aware by now. I adore mine, despite having to scoop feathers out of my tent before packing it all away in the morning. So warm that last year on my Christmas camp I slept in noght by my boxers and down booties (gotta keep your toes warm). Talking of feet, I hope you took those soggy socks off when you got them wet and kept them out of your bag? Anyway Stuart, I really enjoyed this video, so thanks for sharing buddy!
Foil mats work great you can get them cheap on ali express or get a roll of insulation from b&q I got one from aldi, bread bags over socks if going out for a wee, although a cheap wide mouthed bottle would be easy for you being a bloke lol
