Thanks for the tip! Yeah I’ve tried washing/shaking a full bottle with the lid on/in the sink but wasn’t sure If shaking/tapping it in something would damage it, I’ll give it a go when I get in from work later. Cheers for watching mate 😃🙏🏻

Thanks mate :) I’ve tried tap/backwashing mine and and also soaking in hot water but no luck so far. Someone said to try very well diluted bleach, but I think I need to read up on that first! 😂. There’s no decathlon near me u fortunately, I think the nearest is Bristol… Christmas soon though… 🤔

@@TheFairway8 kings tor is a great tor for your first Dartmoor camp, it was a few of my friends first aswell, it’s always gonna be a special one for me 🙂 headed back there a few months ago (vid on my wildcamps playlist). I want to get my dog out for a camp soon, he’s nearly 10 and never been before but he loves it on the moor so hopefully I can get him used to the tent fairly quick! Thanks for watching :)

@@lntkernow Had my channel for a while now but was just family videos, started doing wild camping videos though around March 2022. Roughly 1 video a month and I'm up to about 2000 watch hours for the last year. So somehow I got to double the amount of views I get 😂

@StuartThow similar mate, I used to do Bushcraft vids back in the day, maybe like 2018/19. Deleted everything after a couple years off then started again Wildcamping when I moved to Cornwall, think my first vid was about 2 years ago, getting the subs but it’s just the watch hours I’m struggling with, I try and get 2 vids out a month, gonna focus on it more from now till January and see how I do with it

@@JesseFone thanks buddy, yeah I think that might be one of my new favourite parts of the moor, itching to get back out there and explore/camp there some more. Literally just been looking at canvas printing sites, I’d love a print of it for my camping gear room/office 🙂

thanks mate =] yeah i thought it looked pretty solid and would be able to stand up to some pretty harsh winds and rain, theres a video somewhere online (and on my instagram post) where its tested to 160kmph !!! should hopefully do me a couple of seasons till i can afford a hilleberg! 🤣

Thanks mate :) yeah I reckon it’ll be pretty good for autumn/winter! Robens have tested it upto 160kmph! Looking forward to testing it out! It’s 2.9kg, so a little heavier than I’m used to, but only weighs 100g more than pat’s Soulo BL, and has loads more space! 🙏

Sorry mate, totally missed this somehow! Both great tors to be honest, probably kings for ease of access though?🤔 and there’s a water source at the bottom too, don’t remember if there’s one at great staple, other than right at the bottom near the old quarry works but it’s a fair old incline to get back up ahha. For morning routine, there’s probably areas where you could go, though I tend to do a tactical toilet stop on my way out to camp and stop at a supermarket to get some beers etc, there’s also public loos in Princetown/at the Fox Tor Cafe so if you time it right you can stop for breakfast and “offload” 😂
