Thanks for your effort I love your pattern of teaching very very understandable. Sir, my confusion is why did you select maximum duty cycle of 48% and from the datasheet of uc3843 it stated at 100% kindly explain more on it . Thanks
Last step ( @11:54 ) surprised me : higher voltage needs a higher inductance ? ( changed from 414µH@100V to 502µH@110V ). So then it should be calculated at the Vdc high ?
No dear SMPS transformer is always calculated in Worst case scenario (Low input DC rail voltage and maximum power output) in this situation the IC will use maximum duty cycle. when DC rail voltage will reach at maximum level (i.e 375 VDC) at that time the ic will utilize minimum duty cycle to switch, to produce the same output power (which was being produced using maximum duty cycle at LOW dc rail voltage) *INDUCTANCE WILL BE CALCULATED AT Vin min*
i have a question sir, the Vmin 85AC & Vmax265 is a constant value that will use everytime i design a circuit ? for example i need output 12Vdc/5A . the Vmin85V & Vmax265V is a constant value that i will use everytime i design a circuit?
I have watched the two videos 263 and 265 with great interest . Which is the next one where you show the full circuit. How many videos in this series and which are they? Thank you for your kind patients.
Sir, Thanks for posting this design series 🙏 I have a question regarding Bulk Capacitor calculations. You have considered Vpeak Minmum for Capacitor value. Why it is? Vpeak Minmum is the low voltage, why we are not considering the high voltage i. e. 375 volt. Other wise Bulk capacitor will not able to filter at high voltage. Please confirm 🙏
hi sir...i saw your video and i want to say you are very good...excusme sir i want make one switching trans..with 220Vin and with +17v 0 -17v and .5amper but i dont know i must use how ferriet and typ wire...pleas lead me thankyou
If we keep the frequency high the power supply work properly or not because most of the power supply work in 50khz to 75kchz only. But u are using 200khz
@@aleksandarjakimov6830 You still need to have a 'death' time ( both pulses are zero) per cycle. So 48 % is about the maximal time the puls can be high. With the 2 pulses per periode this makes 96% on and 4% off (= death time)
Very adorable and useful sharing

Sir how was the duty cycle 48℅selected please explain.
Thank you I got the answer in the next video🙏
Thanks for Sharing good Work
Very hard work dear
Sir I have a question.
You use here 200KHz it's a typical value or maximum value of operating frequency?
Thanks for sharing such an informative video. Very detailed oriented and well explained brother. Thanks for sharing, jazak Allah.
Great information

Good Info
Is the 2.5 factor depending on the Design ? So only for 'flyback' mode transformer ? What factor will be used for 'full bridge' mode ?

Very cool info
thank you sharing your expertise 👍👍
Where in the videos do you calculate the output capacitor?
Hi sir,
Based on which criteria you consider 200khz frequency ?

Nice video , i like
This inductance calculation formula for flyback is minimum inductance calculation. if not how can calculate minimum inductance
Thank you sir 🙏

Nice.👍👍👍👍👍👍
thanks for sharing brother 😀
One doubt i have, how did derive the Cin cap farmula and primary inductance.
Walikum Salaam Bhai Saab
Nice explanation. Please make video on input line filter and protection crt calculation.

Calculate nice
why use 0.48 as duty cycle? If we use 0.5 what happens? Should we allow Toff than Ton ?
Where does 2.5 factor in inductor equation come from?
What is the 2.5 Constant ?

how is it come 0.48% duty cycle, kindly explain in detail plz Sir
What scientific calculator are you using ?

Hi, Great explanation
I am unable to find 266, 267 & 268 number video. Pls help to locate
good . we need core selection and no of turns.
why taken 2.5 for Lpri calculation
thank you for this tutorial
but i want to ask
if i want to design my own smps should i fallow all these videos 1 by one ?
Honesty is the best policy allah bless you

Sir , what is the full form of vcc ,ob,ct,oc,is and fb
Sir kindly make video s on pwm sine wave inverter. Thank u.
Thank you dear
But I found the inductance equation is different from the one you used.
you are right
there are many approaches to calculate and each technique have its own equations.
Nice sir g sir please conform duty cycle how calculated or wh chose 0.48% in explain thanks

What is 2.5 and why 48% duty cycle
@@HaseebElectronics but why exactly 48%? Is it necessary to be exactly that number and how that affect our circuit?

Thanks you very much,
small doubt in this video is,Lpri denominator constant term 2.5
but according to my calculations is 2
please confirm it
NO, V=L*I/Ton
E=1/2*L*i*i
E=Pout/n*t
so can you tell me,where i did the mistake please
my request
E=Pout/n*t, n=0.8 so it should be2.5
