I like that it is so low to the ground a golf ball can cause damage to the sprocket or brakes, at say 20 km the sprocket could hit some thing say 7 cm high and bend the axle.

People actually Dont Realize how good spray paint actually looks on projects like this GoKart, And when you hit it with Multiple coatings of Clear Coat it makes whatever your painting look like New Again. Its best to use good quality SprayPaints and ClearCoats.
Agreed. Paint that we used was cheap stuff but stores that specialize in auto paint sell base coat and clear coat in spray cans. They go for around 12 dollars per can but the results would be amazing. Those cans have different paint hardeners and will promote better adhesion to the frame.
it is a semi auto 4 speed transmission and it can be a shifter kart but I don't know why he didn't put a shift paddle on there, the kid probs can't handle it.
You should replace the brake and gas pedal for something that is flat against the foot rather than a wire. My kart had similar pedals to yours and I crashed because of braking complications and the design of the pedals resulted with breaking 4 separate metatarsal bones in my foot which required a surgery to realign the bones with 3 plates, 12 screws, a pin and 39 staples to close the wound. A simple seat harness and flat pedals would have prevented this. Very nice kart and design but that's definitely something to take into consideration.

I just bought a very old go kart frame... Not race cart style really it's a yard kart... I'm "slapping" a giant tuned 10hp Tecumseh engine with torque-a-verter comet clutch lol. Wish I could get frames like the ones I see on ur channel. Love these build vids. Great work!
Nice work, came out really good. You should change the rear sprocket for a much smaller one. I think 45mph to 50mph is the correct top speed for this engine to go-kart set-up.

Sounds like you need to put a smaller sprocket on the axle. Maybe around 32 teeth or so. It'll take off slower but give you a bunch more top end. Nice job.

Personally I'd shoot for a 14-42 setup or somewhere like that. 14-35 to 14-49 for sure. That is, if it DOES shift gears.
I own a 125cc atv engine off my atv, it has 4 gears 3,2,1,N,R. I think he has no gears witch doesn’t seam right for a 125. I’m building my kart with a better 125 because it has gears and reverse on a go kart lol
14/42 is what im running on my manual 140cc pitbike racing go kart build , the issue i have with that gear ratio is 1st and 2nd is like non existant 3rd and 4thnis where my power is at what donu recommmed that would be better to give me more in 1st and 2nd and good top speed

Try something for me please. Make a tube that holds the air filter out a little farther from the carb. See how that helps. Also, if you get real creative, make the intake itself longer. Otherwise, really nice project. I'm sure the kid is stoked
By making intake longer wouldn't that make harder to start the engine due to the fact that fuel would need to travel further? I might try that just to see what would happen. Cheers
nope, longer intake runners help with low end torque. Its a 4 stroke, so it would see the benefit. The longer air filter neck is just to get a straighter shot of air into the carb, instead of turbulant air straight off the filter. Might like it

Привет Талгат. Собрали картинг а мотор не фурычит. Пришлось его обратно продавцу на eBay отправить. Скоро поставлю другой мотор и снова погоняем. Как видишь пришлось крепление закалхозить. Зато держится и у мотора будет легче масло менять. По другому не получалось. То сидение мешало то шестерёнки не совпадали. Короче в нашей деревне итак сойдёт. Этот харлей нашего соседа. У него сыновья тоже катаются на харлей. У них 4 байка в гараже.
Ничего себе!У вас соседи,один харлей чего стоит!А мне кажется что этот двигатель нормальный был!Он на механике?или вы провода неправильно подключили,там где коммутатор,или нулевик или подсос не рабочий на карбюраторе!Мотор задыхается.Или клапана подрегулировать нужно видать зажаты сильно!Вот я немогу своего 2дня возился не мог завести!Потом доперло что,газораспределение неправильно поставил,так как я поршневую менял 125 на 150кубиков!Там еще клапана были сильно зажаты и зазора совершенно никакого!Скоро будет тест драйв,сделаю видосик лично для вас:)Там у вас шестеренка ведомая 428размер должен быть,и задняя большая тоже 428размер)))А на счет крепления!Получилось отлично,но нужно его усилить,так как у этих двигателей сильные вибраций порой!И сделайте аварийную кнопку на ручке!Там у вас должен быть черно белый провод который выходит от камутатора которую если при рабочем двигателе замкнете с минусом то двигатель заглохнет!Удачи в сборке!
Этот двигатель был полностью автоматический. У него 4 диска сцепления и чем быстрее он едет тем шустрее трансмиссия переключается. Я прочитал что это заводской дефект. Эти диски иногда слипаются при транспортировки и только нужно залезть в движок чтобы расклеить их. Мне не охото было самовольничать и натворить делов. Легче было его сдать его обратно продавцу. Вроде Электрика ни как не влияет на автоматическое сцепление. Как бы оно не было, его обратно приняли. Теперь жду очередного китайского мотора. Надеюсь будет работать. Хорошо что ты разобрался как запустить твой движок а для меня разборка и сборка это полный пипец. Может быть когда-нибудь и рискну разобрать двиг. Этот мотор шёл с 420 шестернёй а насчёт крепления то да я уже его с низу укрепил. Низ я даже не красил так решил укрепить. Кнопка красная есть на моторе возле стартера. Советуешь перенести её на руль? Ждём твоих покатушек на трайке. Успехов.

Этот мотор получается как будто с центробежным сцеплением? Жаль что рыжик не умеет ездить на механики, так бы мы установили бы другой мотор. Может быть в следующих видосиках попробуем. Customwinder 1 Two stroke 250 would be crazy fast and totally awesome. If you can afford it then you should go for it. Our projects are mostly cheap junk from Craigslist and 250 engines are just out of our price range. Good luck with your kart.

T-Mans Go Karts Thanks T-Man, appreciate it but I thought you didn't consider these types of videos as projects where folks slapped a motor on the frame? I recall when you were talking trash about cars and cameras in your live stream and decided to unsubscribe from your channel. I feel your pain that less and less viewers are watching your builds but you are going about it all wrong. Kids usually take the path of less resistance buy finding a frame on Craigslist and slapping a motor on it. That's why you only see many views on your finished karts and not the whole build process. True , I dont like Cars and cameras. Theres no damn good reason why their channel grew so big. YT could have sent the traffic in a number of ways. You have been on the platform longer, worked it longer. I can tell that you could use the traffic and money in more educational ways . Their channel is nothing but " hey guys, look how much fun we are having , oh now go buy some parts " Go look at this guy , he challenged C&C to a build off, do you think they will accept? No , what they will do is say that they are an entertainment channel and they dont do that stuff. Its a good way to cop out, they know that if they give any shout outs to another channel then that channel will explode. They grew way to fast , got spoiled , and are now running out of ideas. along with that they haven't helped any other channels grow or brought much true good value to anyone. They generated massive amounts of inspiration but do nothing to nurture it.
T-Mans Go Karts I believe we should all be marching to our own beat and let the audience decide who's channel is more appealing. You do bring up some good points in regards to their popularity but with UA-cam the sky is the limit. I personally don't know these guys and could care less what content they are uploading but what struck a cord with me is that today you trash talk their channel and tomorrow you might talk about my channel. It's unprofessional and for that reason I'm out.
carsandcamars sucks talked to them about ideas all they basically said was sorry can't help and they don't build anything besides the trike and intake for the trike they have never broke in a engine just slap it in and go
nice set up i suggest putting disc brakes on the front be alot safe if your kids going to drive like that and will be more fun to do skids but ya need a bigger engine
A 110 (or 125) china motor has basically the same hp as a 212 predator and it has gears. This one is a full auto but i doubt a single speed preddy would beat a normal (manual) 110 china motor
I’m actually currently putting together a 125 four stroke four-speed manual go kart sept mines gonna be a little more utility based but still it’s got a haul either way lol
rc drift It can be yours if the price is right. Looking to get $800 for it but haven't posted it online yet. Waiting till summer time when these karts sell like hot cakes.

My wiring came with connectors so it was basically plug and play type of deal. I didn’t have to mess with it. Maybe just buy new wiring harness and it will save you some headache? It’s not that expensive on Amazon or EBay. Good luck 👍
Ive been wanting to build a go kart. but taking it to the extreme. I want to make a mini 1932 Ford that has a roof. Has the exaughst coming out the top. No fenders rewire the starter to be able to turn it over in the cab, have around 2 - 4 seats and get gears set up on it and the engine spins a drive shaft to a homemade diff at the back. Yes i want to put the engine at the front to make better for drifting. This will be an insane build. I dont know what to put in it thought. Any ideas for a good engine for under Grand?

Which 125cc did you get? Did it come with everything you needed or did you have to order carb, starter, and other things? I’ve been looking at the 125’s on Amazon but don’t know which is better or which comes with everything you need. Let me know if there’s a name on it. Thanks, and that’s coooler than cold man!
The first motor I bought from Amazon it was defective. When I installed it, the motor itself ran fine but the second and third gears ⚙️ were not engaging so I returned it. Swapped it for another one and it worked great. Unfortunately it was a fully automatic motor so it only had 3 gears ⚙️ forward and one in reverse. I would recommend getting a manual motor without reverse. It should be a little faster than automatic. As far as Amazon goes, you can pretty much buy it and if it doesn’t work then you can exchange it for another one so buy it with confidence. And yes, my engine came with everything including the wiring harness and carburetor. Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting.

You should swap that motor with a 125cc manual transmission, and make it a shifter

Even if you used aluminum sheet metal instead of plastic it would be stronger and possibly protect you from rocks

Yes sir i already got another rear sprocket for it. Went from 54 tooth to 37 tooth.

Хорошо что ты разобрался как запустить твой движок а для меня разборка и сборка это полный пипец. Может быть когда-нибудь и рискну разобрать двиг. Этот мотор шёл с 420 шестернёй а насчёт крепления то да я уже его с низу укрепил. Низ я даже не красил так решил укрепить. Кнопка красная есть на моторе возле стартера. Советуешь перенести её на руль? Ждём твоих покатушек на трайке. Успехов.

Типтроник вроде это когда у автоматической коробки есть дополнительный вариант переключить её в полу механический режим? Этот мотор получается как будто с центробежным сцеплением? Жаль что рыжик не умеет ездить на механики, так бы мы установили бы другой мотор. Может быть в следующих видосиках попробуем. Да, ты прав что мне бы не мешало бы разобрать бэушный мотор и попрактиковаться. У тебя удачно это дело пошло, молодец. Всем родным привет.

Two stroke 250 would be crazy fast and totally awesome. If you can afford it then you should go for it. Our projects are mostly cheap junk from Craigslist and 250 engines are just out of our price range. Good luck with your kart.

Thanks T-Man, appreciate it but I thought you didn't consider these types of videos as projects where folks slapped a motor on the frame? I recall when you were talking trash about cars and cameras in your live stream and decided to unsubscribe from your channel. I feel your pain that less and less viewers are watching your builds but you are going about it all wrong. Kids usually take the path of less resistance buy finding a frame on Craigslist and slapping a motor on it. That's why you only see many views on your finished karts and not the whole build process. Good luck bud.
True , I dont like Cars and cameras. Theres no damn good reason why their channel grew so big. YT could have sent the traffic in a number of ways. You have been on the platform longer, worked it longer. I can tell that you could use the traffic and money in more educational ways . Their channel is nothing but " hey guys, look how much fun we are having , oh now go buy some parts " Go look at this guy , he challenged C&C to a build off, do you think they will accept? No , what they will do is say that they are an entertainment channel and they dont do that stuff. Its a good way to cop out, they know that if they give any shout outs to another channel then that channel will explode. They grew way to fast , got spoiled , and are now running out of ideas. along with that they haven't helped any other channels grow or brought much true good value to anyone. They generated massive amounts of inspiration but do nothing to nurture it.

I believe we should all be marching to our own beat and let the audience decide who's channel is more appealing. You do bring up some good points in regards to their popularity but with UA-cam the sky is the limit.
I personally don't know these guys and could care less what content they are uploading but what struck a cord with me is that today you trash talk their channel and tomorrow you might talk about my channel. It's unprofessional and for that reason I'm out.

A 110 (or 125) china motor has basically the same hp as a 212 predator and it has gears. This one is a full auto but i doubt a single speed preddy would beat a normal (manual) 110 china motor

Hey man great vid, do you have any way of showing how you you wired your engine up. I’m having issues with finding a decent diagram
My wiring came with connectors so it was basically plug and play type of deal. I didn’t have to mess with it. Maybe just buy new wiring harness and it will save you some headache? It’s not that expensive on Amazon or EBay.

Ive been wanting to build a go kart. but taking it to the extreme. I want to make a mini 1932 Ford that has a roof. Has the exaughst coming out the top. No fenders rewire the starter to be able to turn it over in the cab, have around 2 - 4 seats and get gears set up on it and the engine spins a drive shaft to a homemade diff at the back. Yes i want to put the engine at the front to make better for drifting. This will be an insane build. I dont know what to put in it thought. Any ideas for a good engine for under Grand?

well thats a good build, the stock top speed of 125cc 4 strokes is slow. So my clutch 125cc has 15 -36 pulley, small carb and i made 71mph

Currently I'm still using original spark plug that came with this engine but soon I'll be getting NGK for better performance. 👍

We keep our go karts in the shed so they are going to be protected from the rain.
Which 125cc did you get? Did it come with everything you needed or did you have to order carb, starter, and other things? I’ve been looking at the 125’s on Amazon but don’t know which is better or which comes with everything you need. Let me know if there’s a name on it. Thanks, and that’s coooler than cold man!
The first motor I bought from Amazon it was defective. When I installed it, the motor itself ran fine but the second and third gears ⚙️ were not engaging so I returned it. Swapped it for another one and it worked great. Unfortunately it was a fully automatic motor so it only had 3 gears ⚙️ forward and one in reverse. I would recommend getting a manual motor without reverse. It should be a little faster than automatic. As far as Amazon goes, you can pretty much buy it and if it doesn’t work then you can exchange it for another one so buy it with confidence. And yes, my engine came with everything including the wiring harness and carburetor. Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting.
