Three cheers for Marc. He seems grounded & understands how his hard work & some luck gave him a good life. And wow, his voice is still holding on well.
I still clearly remember listening to the radio the day Bon Scott’s death was announced and I was in the 10th grade. Marc was the first guy that crossed my mind as a replacement. I know that it would’ve been awfully convenient due to Marc and Bon sounding so much alike. It’s all history now with Brian Johnson and it’s all good but Marc you are the guy I would’ve pushed for AC/DC even though I respect your dedication to Krokus. The fact that you turned the offer down says a lot about your dedication to Krokus. Please put a new Krokus album out. We need new Krokus music right away!
Marc would have been the perfect replacement for Bon Scott or Brian Johnson when he left. Axl did a good job but i think Marc could have done better. Marc is a icon -legend - and was born to rock! I seen the Blitz tour and they were FN incredible! Keel opened for them. They blew Keel away.Krokus should have been so much more famous than they got. I blame it on their label and management. Also i think if they would have toured America more than they did ,they could have gotten much bigger. Take care Lucky Dog !! From ROCK DOG!! LOL!!
Hi Marc, I listened to your albums first stationed in Germany 1983, "Headhunter." The song "Stay awake all night" fit my first all night guard duty on Thanksgiving 1983. Just checking on your group now, and are you really retiring just now in 2021? Glad you made so many good shows and songs. Hope you make more albums and shows. Glad you could make a family even with that touring life.
Marc is such a icon -legend -and inspiration! Ive been a huge fan since 83. I seen them live with Keel in the early 80s and have been hooked since.! His voice is so incredible and fits the band perfectly. I believe Krokus should have gotten much more credit and fame than they did. I blame their record label and management for that. Their songs are absolutely incredible and they deserve to be in the Rock n Roll Hall OF Fame without any doubt! Next to ACDC -Kiss - Guns n Roses they are worthy to be called ROCKS ELITE. Im praying they never retire and keep making that long stick go BOOM!!
Damn good interview thanks Mark for your honesty and openness you seem down to earth I wish you well I seen krokus a few times back in the day what decade let's say it was the 80s in Michigan USA 💫🌏✌
Great interview. I had the opportunity to interview Krokus (Marc Storace, and Tommy Kiefer) on their first US tour, supporting Sammy Hagar I think. 1981. I was helping a buddy out who edited a local college paper. Hardware was not yet out, but they were playing at least one track from it. The track Fire really came across awesomely. Tommy Kiefer, like Storace, knew English (Storace was fluent, of course, Tommy Kiefer was fluent enough to converse with. Tommy mentioned Arthur Janov's primal scream therapy, which I guess he had an interest in. Storace talked about Malta and Switzerland, and canton Solothurn where the band was based. Of course, at the time, Krokus were unknown in the US aside from the song Heatstrokes which did get airplay. I saw them again about eight months later when they opened for another band. By this time Tommy Kiefer had left the band. After the show I approached the backstage rails, and hailed Fernando Von Arb, who was really cool, and he came up and said hi, and he actually remembered me from my interviewing them previously, so I guess the interview / article I had done for my buddy's college paper met the band's approval. Both times I saw them, the band sounded terrific. Seattle Center Arena. The cleanest sounding rock show (i.e., not so loud you're deafened, but still hard hitting). Storace always delivered, vocally, as well. Good times.
@@masterjake731 Hi Masterjake.... I don't remember if I took a cassette recorder to that interview. I may have just used notes. I'll have to look in the boxes of old cassettes I've got stashed in a closet.
My favorite singer for more than thirty years now. Greetings from Germany. It was only now, in the year 2023, that I got to know that his name is not pronounced "Storis" but "staw-Rah-cheh" and that he was not from the USA but from Malta. Cool! By the way: He´s been together for so long with us German speaking people that he has developed a strong German accent in his English.
I was at that same show. Went to see Cheap Trick, but Krokus was awesome and put on a great show themselves. Whole concert was great from start to finish.
Are you upset because you're band wasn't as successful as Rush? Do you think it's because Rush is better than Krokus? Screaming in the Night is a choice song and the video from MTV's 1980s era was boss. I don't know any of your other songs.
One of the most underrated metal bands of all time. I LOVE KROKUS!!!
I always love Krokus. Great band!

One of the best bands on the planet.
Great interview! I’ve always loved Marc’s vocals! Thank you for sharing his story with us!
He is the most grounded hair band vocalist. Such a humble man.
I saw that Leppard Moore Krokus show at ALPINE VALLY Wis. EPIC!

Saw you guys in 1982. Nashville, TN. Krokus, Saxon and Cheap Trick!! Great show!!

Excellent!!
Saw Krokus about 4 years ago at the Whiskey a go go. Great show. Sounds like a real nice guy. Never really heard him chat before 🤘🍻
You don't like Krokus more than Rush, do you?
@@rorshakksHaha no. I like them but gotta say I only went because my guitarist friend asked me to go. I really only know their most popular tunes.
