Man would really appreciate if you gave us a video on editing and cleaning vocals really really struggled with it .
What do you mean by "cleaning"? Do you mean removing background noise? Do you mean pitch correction? Do you mean using a desser? EQ? There are literally infinite ways to "clean" vocals

the HiFREQ [FLAT] knob on the cla-2a should be turned fully to the right so the lower frequencys will also be compressed
Might be dumb question but what does that FLAT knob do?
@@wedoprods6088 the flat knob activates the compression for the low frequencys, without activating only the upper frequencys will be compressed so when turned on you get much more warmth into a vocal

Should I mix the vocals with the finished wav file of the beat?
or should I mix it in the production stage of the beat(like with all the patterns, automations, etc)?
It’s completely up to you!
If you got the full beat session, it might be easiest to mix the vocal with it as a whole. But a lot of the time if it’s not your beat, you’ll be mixing vocals to a wav. of the beat, If that’s all the artist has.
Having access to the full beat session and vocals or at least beat track outs, is the best for the overall song mixing!

If I mix export the beat and mix the vocals with the wav, do I have to do master the beat first?

Why not de-ess before the initial compression since this is corrective? Honest question =)
You can! I like to compress after the first EQ just as a small Dynamic control. This gets the vocal a bit more consistent before I start things like De-ess ect.

Stop ✋️ the cap Engineers 😤 Visual is good to know what you are doing and hearing. If you rely on gps to take you somewhere you never been or visually can see, why not use eq's and compressors that give you that same thing. Honestly if it sounds good and you feel good about it, leave it.
