Sir actually we have v1=cv√2ghBut you have taken only √2ghSo at which conditions we have to take those two formulae
one is for the coefficient of actual velocity and the other theoretical, so i should think that when you have a coefficient of velocity then you may use the first one, for actual velocity, use the second one. but let the lecturer confirm.
Cv is given 1.0 .. that's why

cv = 1 that's why he did'nt put cv on the calculation
Why didn't you consider coefficient of velocity
because cv = 1
