These type of direct steps won't let anybody gets intrest in ur subject. Use steps to solve more and more ways to get viewers thinks it simple not ur mind sir. This msg hit u upon a time
Why v1 and v2 are same. here is www.flow3d.com/simulating-pelton-turbines/ simulation that shows inlet velocity is not equal to outlet water velocity. If there is kinetic energy of input water is transferred to pelton wheel then velocity of outlet should be less than inlet.
this is because vw1 is in positive x direction but vw2 is along the -ve x direction, so [vw1-(-vw2)], if beta angle is more than 90 in that case both vw1 and vw2 will have same direction i.e along the positive x direction at that time it will be vw1-vw2 :)
A pelton wheel is supplied water under a head of 200m through a 100mm diameter pipe. If the quantity of water supplied to the wheel is 1.25m³/s. Calculate the number of jets.Assume Cv=0.97. (12mks)

Sir for discharge i have no confusion it's velocity v1 but striking velocity is vr1cos@ but u have simply taken it as v1 why??
Hello,
Thank you for your video.
Would you help me know the allowable range of jet impact velocity in such a pelton turbine?
Thank you

Sir where is the outlate of the pelton wheel??
What is the capacity of this turbain to make electricity in kwh

Very good but tell me design of pelton turbine

thanks for presentation .
I've a commercial question .do anybody has installed such stations in India ,please .let me know fellas .
Sir what is the term that you used Vr w2 etc
watch lecture 134 to understand these terms
MUKESH KUMAR how can i find it..share the link

Excellent faculty .
What is Ivt ?
please explain the darcy equation as well
needed velocity triangle in more detail
You did not say what's v1, vr1, vw1????🤷🏼♂️
Absolute velocity, resultant velocity and whirl velocity
Ooo master Ji explain in hindi
Thank you Sir This Very very Useful for me.... Thanks again... Sir 🔥😘
Sir why vw1+vw2
Why not vw1-vw2
Pls rply
this is because vw1 is in positive x direction but vw2 is along the -ve x direction, so [vw1-(-vw2)], if beta angle is more than 90 in that case both vw1 and vw2 will have same direction i.e along the positive x direction at that time it will be vw1-vw2 :)
How to calculate beta whether it is obtuse or acute??plzz explain
You wrote directly i don't understand sir please simply the equation
I saw all class in your youtube channel
Thank you sir
