Before we say no to submit to a man that isn't submitted to God, we may need to read 1 Peter 3: 1-2. God wants us to submit to the husband whether he is submissive to God or not unless he is trying to lead us to sin.
@hometowngirlncurls5669 God wants all of us to e committed to Him. His way is that the husband is submissive to God and also the be the covering for his wife. There is an order, which is why it is very important to be selective about who you agree to marry.
@@nenajay3174 I agree with you! However that scripture is written because God knew this would take place too. Like a couple who weren't believers when they got married but one becomes a follower of Christ while the other isn't. Also, this isn't applied to those who are married to unbelievers. This is also applied to women who are married to Christian men but they are not seeking God to make a particular decision. We can be selective but that doesn't mean that Christian man will always make the best decision or will always seek God even when they're supposed to. God knows that our husbands won't always do the right things but we are to extend grace just He gives us when we mess up.
@@hometowngirlncurls5669 Being obedient to god is going to be based on one's interpretation . At one time being obedient to god was to enslave folks. Man has been speaking for god to make women and others submit to him for a long time now.
Eve was deceived and fell into sin first, then Eve deceived Adam into eating the fruit after her. She sinned first. 1 Timothy 2:14 “And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result.”
The scripture, which you quoted, literally says Adam was not deceived (and that is why a woman should not rule over him), yet you added to it. Are you a woman? 😂
Adam was not deceived. He willfully ate. Which is why God came directly to Adam. Because Adam was given DOMINION. He had the responsibility to be the leader. Stop blaming Eve for being deceived, ADAM was never deceived Adam knew better.
Eve was decieved, Adam sinned...the fall occurred when Adam bit the fruit!! He failed to cover his wife...Period..now we all dealing with the fall out...in this fallen world Edited to add: Yes they both sinned, but that fall tho...it didn't happen until Adam bit so there was opportunity for a God honoring choice to be made by him and repentance by Eve..but he chose to watch her sin and followed suit thus the fall and here we are, can't negate the facts nor the context..and the conversation with God afterwards showed a remorseful Eve and a less than accountable Adam who blamed her and even God for her even being there before acknowledging the choice he made...The Word says what it says
1 Timothy 2:14 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." Eve sinned, but coming to think of it both their eyes are open after Adam ate it🤔
@xtelfolaj that was my point in saying Adam sinned as he wasn't deceived (as the scripture you listed affirms) in the same way Eve was, and the fall didn't occur, their eyes weren't opened until after he also ate...so there was possibly space and opportunity there for him to cover them by not also eating, them eyes may have stayed shut???...ijs...we'll never know all that but the text does suggests a final accountability there to Adam...🤔
I love how y’all stress and reiterate the covenant made with/under God and how women are told to submit to men submitting/submitted to God. Not just that’s yo husband. Love it.
That’s a question from the unmarried or young minded lol not exactly funny but a testament that you don’t actually understand - men operating with attributes actually want to know what you bring to the table other than yourself - now flip it on a man’s head and ask what does he bring to the union’s table - and if just himself there’d be an issue!
@@SWISSMUSICFC I phrased my comment the way I did bc I didn’t want to seem rude or on the attack towards the young lady who made the statement. But yes, asking that question (what you bring to the table) is a very sober way to see where their mind is, and gauge if there is compatibility/suitability between the two ppl. Wanting “not” to be asked that question is quite telling, and would be a red flag for me. But good luck to her and all others who find offense in that inquiry. May the odds be with them. Lol. And yes, if we (men) said that…you’re correct; there’d be a big issue. Lol. And we know why.
Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
I think you all got off track by not fully understanding the text. The book is about the fall & redemption. Eve was deceived, Adam was not. God said, "The day you eat, you shall surely die." Adam loved his wife and knew they were about to be separated. He made the choice to take the punishment in order to be with her because of his love for her, just as Christ took on our sin to redeem His bride the church.
@@mytraveltohealthya, never heard that opinion. Definitely not what happened. God gave a command to Adam he didnt follow it. End of discussion. When God asked Adam why he did it, Adams response wasnt " I knew you were going to throw Eve out and I loved her soo much and I cant live without her that Im going to sacrifice this perfect life you gave me to live in an Evil and Sinful world." Instead he blamed God and Eve. Tells you exactly where his head and heart was.
As we all know, sin is deceptive. That is likely not the first interaction the serpent had with them. They were familiar and let their guards down. How many of us wouldn’t have (currently) done the same and disobeyed God?
This is an interesting topic, you guys went deep. A couple of scriptures that speak to it are 1 Corinthians 11, and 1 Timothy 2. to Sean's point, yes we see the results of Abraham's action, with Israel and Islam today. Plus, to Plain's point, friction in the home is a punishment. Finally, yes the proper interpretation of the genesis passage is a battle of the sexes. Tony Evans gave a nice sermon about it. Nice discussion everyone.
I know I'm late to this video but Adam was NOT there at the conversation with the serpent. In Genesis 3:3, Eve tells the serpent they are not to eat of the tree in the middle of the garden. Why would she say where the tree was if she was already at the tree? It was LATER when she was at the tree, saw it looked good, and ate that Adam was with her (Genesis 3:6). We must RIGHTLY divide The Word! (2 Timothy 2:15)
Gen 3:6 in NIV and KJV literally says "she gave some to her husband, who was with her" KJV: " and also gave unto her husband with her; and he did eat..."
Still doesn't overcome the fact that Adam wasn't deceived, even if he wasn't present for the conversation with the serpent. Which means he knew what the fruit was before he ate it. And the scripture is clear that their eyes were opened after Adam ate, not after Eve ate.
Matthew 10:37-39 talks about this. Leading your family well comes down to having correct priorities and putting God first. If we find ourselves outside of God's will because of our spouse, that's something that needs to be addressed immediately. You are being pushed further and further away from God and you don't even realize it.
I read a book called Eve and they broken down how the fall in the garden, which is that Adam was already curious about the tree and when he saw Eve was in love with Adam and willing to do anything to get his love nd saw he was curious she ate the fruit, because she thought it was wat he want she knew what God said but she was more worried about pleasing Adam so when God cursed Eve and says you will desire your husband as in you will desire him more than me and for that instead of me ruling over your life, your husband will as in you will follow him instead of me. It was also a really good read
Please be careful as that is not Biblically accurate AT ALL! Sin entered through Adam because he LISTENED TO/FOLLOWED Eve in sin... Genesis 3:17! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
To understand the curse God placed on Eve, we see a similar phrase God used when he spoke to her son Cain. Sins desire is to control Cain same as Eve’s desire will be to control Adam. Genesis 4:7 (NKJV) 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”
God is not in politics. It’s a human decision to pick and choose to be in any office. Mayor, House or Reps, Prez, districts, councilwomen and men etc. this was really good however, so much more to unpack.
The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
God said DON’T EAT OF THAT TREE, PERIOD TO ADAM! He was with her‼️ No excuse‼️Eve knew better too. Even if the serpent hadn’t been there, God still said, “DON’T!”
This Snake and Apple translation is the PG version, what took place in the Garden on that day was much more serious and wicked than the present day watered down version
Great discussion. Adam dropped the ball and didn't stand his ground. He should have had a discussion with Eve and told her that God already gave instructions for us to not eat of this tree. Just think what would have happened if they had went back to God before eating from the tree. They should have got God involved to take care of that snake 🤦🏾♀️
I think the issue with that is Eve already ate the fruit. Think of it as an adult talking to an innocent child. It is easy to get a child to believe something when you know more than them. Eve had more tools to convince Adam to eat the fruit. He trusted and loved his wife.
@@immortal846 I see that as well. They both had no prior knowledge of sin. But Eve gained knowledge after eating the fruit. I'm like girl, why are you talking with the snake in the first place? And Adam was right there beside her and just went along with the idea. She didn't consult with Adam or God. Adam let his desire for his wife cloud his judgement as well. And just went along with the Idea. Neither consulted God. God left them to their own devices and they chose to ignore God all together. Then they ran and hid trying to cover up what was done. God asked them why are you covering yourselves? And why are you hiding? Knowing that they chose to ignore his original command. They went along with the snake and chose to ignore God altogether. So the consequence was the fall. And human kind has been falling further and further away from God ever since. We have been given free will. And we are given a choice to follow God commandments or ignore him and choose our own agendas. Satan knows our weakness and will capitalize on it time and time again. He convinced them to ignore God and that they will be just like God once they eat of the tree. They chose the latter and went against God. Didn't consult him or even apologize for what was done. Instead they started playing the blame game like children do. No one took responsibility and I just wonder if they would have went back to God in the first place and asked if it was really ok? Informed God about the snake and what was said. Or after they consumed the fruit. If they would have just apologized and asked for forgiveness. Maybe things would have taken a different course altogether. As I was writing this. This scripture came to mind: Jesus says: “If you love Me, keep My commandments … He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me … If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:15-24.🤷🏾♀️

The way they’re explaining Adam’s presence is WILD. Secondly yes Adam sinned because he walked with God being trained by Yahweh, and Adam clocked his hours tending to the garden. That was his expertise. He did NOT KNOW Eve, he had NOT walked with her and YET the serpent knew her enough to speak 🗣️ to her true nature.
12:40 The Book of Jubilees or Little Genesis will explain to you that Adam was deceived by Eve AFTER she had already taken the bite. She came to Adam later to bring him the fruit to eat and he did. Immediately after eating, he knew what had happened and was mad because he knew what that meant for him within God!
Idk i personally feel like you all are saying Adam was just chilling and that Eve eating the fruit was her taking the dominant position because Adam failed ? That's so incorrect. Genesis 3:2-4 KJVAAE [2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: [3] but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: Its CLEAR as day that Eve knew that she was not to eat from that tree bc God has said not to through Adam telling her what God told him. It seems like you all are forgetting that it was DISOBEDIENCE that got them casted out of the garden ! DISOBEDIENCE. Because if we blame it on adam, then we are saying Eve has to take no accountability. She knew what not to do. Also, later in the new testament. Someone makes a reference to Eve. Which im paraphrasing, "didn't the woman get tricked by the serpent?" I think yall gotta go back and have Bibles open on the table to read it.
They had no conscience prior to eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So they were literally without knowledge of good or evil. They discovered what was evil by transgressing the word of God.
Scripture, 1 Tim 2:14 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." Adam is a type of Christ he who knew no sin became sin. Adam partook of the fruit of Eve's sin bearing the consequences of her transgression. As Jesus has done for His Bride.
@@junowho42 that doesn't answer my question. If Adam had no consciousness, why doesn't the scripture say he was also deceived? Are you trying to say he had know conscience?
Actually eve did reference what Hod told her not to do , when she spoke to the serpent in the garden . Now to understand why Adam didn’t hear the serpent speak to eve is because you have to go to the Great War in heaven to understand that .

Abraham laying with Rachel’s handmaiden isn’t the same as King David committing adultery with Uriah the Hittite’s “WIFE” because not only did David commit adultery he he tried to deceive Uriah and ultimately got him killed. In Abraham’s case Hagar was given to him by Sarah so it wasn’t adultery
Could it be that Adam wanted the fruit as well. Maybe he wanted to see what would happen to Eve first before he ate the fruit. Upon seeing that she didn’t die immediately he ate as well.
Many married couples in Scripture, weren't submitted to YAH'S leadership fully, or at all, but you actually don't see YAH discarding or discrediting their marriage union either. He let even their individual choices give a separate judgement.. Even to judge them separately though married.
Adam and Eve were to rule together before the fall. Genesis 1:28, God blessed them and said to them, "be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth."
Something I wish I could do is understand the stories or messages of the Bible. I just understand or extract individual Bible verses, but not really see the narrative of each story like they were able to describe in this episode. Like how one of them said I think Sarah was nagging someone? I don't think I could have picked up on something like that when I do my daily Bible reading. They make the Bible more tangible and relatable to everyday life...which is why I just subscribed.
@A_J___ You will have to actually read the bible like you would a regular book. Starting at the beginning, going verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book for the purpose of context and narrative. Pray before reading, asking God for understanding and wisdom to hear what is being said. Pace yourself, if your mind begins to wander reread from the last thing you remember reading, or take a break and pick up once refreshed mentally. At night, mediate on what you read, replay the story in your head, ask questions about it, ponder the meaning, implications, and so on. The Word is living and active. If you dont know a word look it up. Every word is valuable in the word of God try not to glance over any of it, value every word. And again ask, seek, knock concerning what you are reading (go to God asking Him about His word). God say if you draw close to Him, He will draw close to you. Scripture say to study to show thyself approved. Therefore you have to do the leg work. I pray that the Lord give you the desire of your heart in your quest to understand the scriptures. 🙏🏿 Be Blessed! AMEN
Esther's Husband and King of Persia wasn't fearing YAH, and she dominated him with her looks and favor to get him to get Haman outta there for his malicious plot. He wasn't submitted to YAH... AT ALL! She laid with him, then was married to him and he never became a servant of the Most High..just a pawn in the game to save lives.
Let me preface this comment with I have not listened to the entire video yet, but I had to comment that "Eve did not step up in the garden" as one of the panel commented that she did. Satan approached her in the garden, and while she had more conversation with the devil than Adam did with her, I don't think we should portray Eve as having stepped up in the garden.
The Ethiopian Bible predates the KJV (a version universally accepted because of control)…in it it has 22 scriptures more than the KJV. I’ve briefly read it since getting it and in that short time with it, I know the sabbath is Saturday and you’re not even supposed to cook on that day. I found out that Adam passed like 70 years before 1000 years and the Bible spoke about how much time that is in heaven. I found out that we probably should pray to Yahweh instead of the broad term God (you could be praying to the “god” on the dollar). Pray to The Most High! I’m gonna tap more into this Bible but I heavily suggest it
Another example is Abraham and Sarah…Sarah decided to take control and Hagar had Ishmael, which caused problems. God created order and authority and culture does and can’t change that. God, Man, wife, dominion. That is the order God created. The Bible also states when women are in leadership positions that is a judge on the nation. As Christians, we have to hold our sword- look to the word of God for understanding and clarification. Nothing is uncommon/new under the sun.
Speak playing James because they definitely trying to make excuses for Adam. The Lord said don’t eat of this fruit to Adam. At the end of the day they were both wrong. Eve was deceived and Adam Sinned
I love this conversation though I think I have a thought to offer that hasnt been mentioned to the point I have listened 14:39. In Genesis 1:26 God gave man dominion over the earth meaning he should have told the snake to shut up and pipe down. Adam allowing Eve to be beguilded by the snake was him forfeiting his dominion over earth (and ri the devil) by listening to an animal that he had authority over.
I’m only 16 min in so idk if this gets addressed or not, but whether Adam was there or not when the snake deceived Eve, Adam knew what Tree the fruit came from because of the fruit that tree beared. I’m pretty sure if God deemed 1 particular plant in an entire garden ‘unsafe’, that plant beared fruit that was distinct to that tree. God/Jesus uses parables of fruit all the through the Bible, and he tells us you can tell what kind of person someone is by their fruit!!! We like to say “apple” but we don’t really know what kind of fruit it was. All we know is it was off limits, Adam knew better and ate the fruit anyway. He sinned and Eve was deceived. Period. Adam should have corrected Eve and slapped that fruit out of her hand lol!
Wrong context. Remember, he wouldn't be suspecting the snake because up to this point, conversation with the animals weren't foreign. It was the 1st time any conversations went against what God said. And he was by the tree... it still need maintenance; just not eat the fruit, not don't care for the tree at all
I'm gonna need y'all on this panel to actually be led by the Spirit and KNOW the Father's heart & will. He hasn't changed His order of operation at all. So to say you're ok with letting the Lord use whoever He wants, isn't His will! He's called MEN FIRST. He uses women when MEN don't step up.
The scriptures say Eve was deceived but ADAM WAS NOT DECEIVED. This meant that Adam knowingly and WILLFULLY disobeyed God's commands of his own volition, not because Eve was wielding some "power" over him. EVE DID NOT "DOMINATE" ADAM. He was not tricked, coerced, hoodwinked, deluded or misled. He was FULLY AWARE, totally cognizant of what he was doing. The aspect of blatant willfulness in his disobedience was what made Adam's sin such a profound violation that it was why the scriptures also say THROUGH ADAM sin entered the world. Further, the various curses placed on the participants in the Garden shows that each one lost their ORIGINAL positions. So, Eve being dominated by man was NOT HER ORIGINAL place, it is a curse.
27:34 Sarah wanted to be God just as Eve wanted to be God…that is the desire. Hedonism. That is why often times in pagan religions the women are the “priest” and nature is glorified above its creator.
They didn't literally eat from the tree...so no eating from the other tree wouldn't had made them immortal. Believing and obeying God would have made them, kept them immortal
I don’t think either of them had dominion over each other in the beginning, it wasn’t until after they sinned that God said the man would have dominion over the woman, he gave the woman as a helpmate which means they were a team and did things together for the good of the earth
umm...it's tricky. For many reasons. Honestly these gender challenges aren't just outside, but they're in the church. Just like the church in the US(probly in other places too) has often been thoroughly segregated by gender, it's also been segregated by race. Many in the church used to teach(probly still do) that left-handed people were cursed/evil. Catholics weren't allowed in certain public places. Also, Does every woman have to feminine? Does every man have to be masculine? Is there room for gender-fluidity?
I thought in God’s word Adam and Eve were equal at that time, before they sinned. Then God changed things. He changed the order between Adam and Eve after they sinned. Adam wasn’t beguiled, Eve was. I believe because Adam loved Eve and didn’t want to lose her because he remembered that God said if they eat from that tree they would die. Eve ate before she handed it to Adam so I personally thought he knew she’d die so he made a choice to die with her. Eve told God the serpent beguiled her, confused her, him being the Author of confusion…still. The her, Eve’s place became subservient to Adam after that. Probably God thought He should’ve made it that way in the beginning then Adam would’ve told Eve no, we’re not going to do this and maybe Eve would’ve followed. But, God created them with free will as well as with every human being. Very good discussion. I could discuss it all day, lol. So, is the war going on between men and women because of men? Or women? I believe both, lol. We need to follow God’s design in everything especially the marriage and relationships (order) between men and women.
God brought the woman to Adam, just like he’d brought everything else to him, and Adam named her like he had named everything else. He was given dominion over the world, and woman was created as his helper. Adam didn’t own his position as protector by covering the woman, and then he deliberately disobeyed God by breaking the one law he’d been given. And like the cowards of today, his first impulse was to blame the woman. If Eve had an innate desire to behave unnaturally/sinfully, that would mean God’s creation was not perfect because she was already exposed to evil. God’s creation was perfect until they ate the forbidden fruit. The lesson we should learn from this is that the onus is on men, and yet to this day, men are constantly pointing the finger at what the woman does. And worst of all, men still sit idly by passively letting everyone be lead astray. It’s no wonder so many women think they can do better.
The young lady appears to have been taught correctly concerning the interpretation of the text. You are really discussing one of the main passages of Scripture known as the "Fall of Mankind" which brought "the curse" which really is five curses, Creation (earth) itself became cursed, the animals became cursed, the serpent became cursed, the woman became cursed, and the man became cursed. I don't have the time or space to elaborate, but Eve was deceived into taking from the tree because of what was in her. Genesis 3:6 reveals the lust of the eyes (she saw it), the lust of the flesh (it looked delicious, good for food), and the pride of life (she desired to have the wisdom), which is all of us. But even though Eve was deceived, Adam made a choice to eat from the tree. This is why nothing happened until Adam ate. His choice was willful disobedience. But God did not leave mankind hopeless because He promised the Savior in 3:15. The curse on the woman does include both her desire for intimacy and to rule over her husband, regardless of whether he is submitted to God. We do not see that qualification in the text, which is why women must be sure the man she marries is submitted to God before they get married because the curse says he will rule over her. As it relates to women stepping up in the place of the man, we have another account in the book of Judges where the Prophetess Deborah was forced into that position because the man God called to lead, would not do and she was thrust into the position. So we see in Scripture that women will do what is necessary for the family or for the nation, as in the case of Deborah and Israel. There is so much more to be said about this subject, but I must leave it there for now, but happy to answer any questions about it. By the way, Ryan, I believe it was you who mentioned what happened with the fall of Satan was the start of it all, you are on the right track.
When I look at our culture, I realize that anyone of us would have made the same mistake. Women are our helpmate, and their words can sway our decisions. If a man, chooses not to acknowledge his wife's thoughts than he's abusive, narcissistic etc. My thought process is that both adam and eve were curious about what the serpent was saying but wasn't willing to eat the fruit first because of God's command. Once the woman ate the fruit and handed it to him, it confirmed that the serpent's story was true, so he ate. Adam should have just stood on God's command. I think we are better off than adam and eve because, the Holy Spirit actually dwells within us. A man who isn't 100 percent sure in his decision can have his decision altered or manipulated by others, especially his wife.
We have to consider Adam and Eve had free will. Free will allows us to choose right or wrong. If there was no free will Adam and Eve would be robots. God gets no enjoyment from having robots. The Bible talks about God enjoying our free will obedience like a sweet fragrance.
If Eve wasn’t deceived, things would be different however, do you really think Satan would’ve stopped. He would’ve kept trying to deceive them. Maybe that’s the point….we can love God and do everything we can but the one moment we are tempted, do we give into it or obey God.
Scripture also does say “Eve was deceived, not Adam” but he was in a way deceived or allowed it. Eve was deceived but sin came through Adam. It doesn’t say Eve was deceived and Adam sinned. That’s not scripture lol c’mon y’all!! Ppl will take this and run with it if you don’t say what’s written. It matters. Adam dropped the ball, Adam knew the word and didn’t stand on it, and Eve knew the word and didn’t believe it. Adam represents the head of the marriage which is why sin came through him. 1 Timothy 2:14-And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result.
The Septuagint is the Greek translation of the entire Bible. The Jews translated the Torah into Greek during the time it was the primary trade language because the Jews were exiled and the younger generation were growing up without reading the Torah since they did not know Hebrew. If you ever see LXX in the margins or notes of the Bible, it’s short for Septuagint.

@xtelfolaj that was my point in saying Adam sinned as he wasn't deceived (as the scripture you listed affirms) in the same way Eve was, and the fall didn't occur, their eyes weren't opened until after he also ate...so there was possibly space and opportunity there for him to cover them by not also eating, them eyes may have stayed shut???...ijs...we'll never know all that but the text does suggests a final accountability there to Adam...🤔

this is a great discussion.
Thanks!
“And stop asking us what we bring to the table…” is elaborately wild.
🥴😂
That’s a question from the unmarried or young minded lol not exactly funny but a testament that you don’t actually understand - men operating with attributes actually want to know what you bring to the table other than yourself - now flip it on a man’s head and ask what does he bring to the union’s table - and if just himself there’d be an issue!
@@SWISSMUSICFC
I phrased my comment the way I did bc I didn’t want to seem rude or on the attack towards the young lady who made the statement.

Great conversation!!!!
This is good. This could preach. I see the parallel.
That's a beautiful way to show just how God created man's ability to love.
I didn’t get this from the text

Yes! Stay BLESSED ❤❤❤
Right!! These guys are missing the key details
Gen 3:6 in NIV and KJV literally says "she gave some to her husband, who was with her"
KJV: " and also gave unto her husband with her; and he did eat..."
@sasschay2621 Yes, that is later than Gen 3:3 as I indicated.
Still doesn't overcome the fact that Adam wasn't deceived, even if he wasn't present for the conversation with the serpent. Which means he knew what the fruit was before he ate it. And the scripture is clear that their eyes were opened after Adam ate, not after Eve ate.
Whoaaaaa, can you share the link for the original video?

7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

That word, desire, is the same word used to refer to sin’s desire for us, in Genesis 4:7.
This Snake and Apple translation is the PG version, what took place in the Garden on that day was much more serious and wicked than the present day watered down version
"Okay, what's the serious and wicked version?"

[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Its CLEAR as day that Eve knew that she was not to eat from that tree bc God has said not to through Adam telling her what God told him.
Which im paraphrasing, "didn't the woman get tricked by the serpent?"

Where's the original video from?
They had no conscience prior to eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So they were literally without knowledge of good or evil. They discovered what was evil by transgressing the word of God.
How do you explain Adam not being deceived then?
Scripture, 1 Tim 2:14 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."
Adam is a type of Christ he who knew no sin became sin. Adam partook of the fruit of Eve's sin bearing the consequences of her transgression. As Jesus has done for His Bride.

It’s simple, if it’s a curse then it’s not she will want her husband in that way, but rule over him.
Could it be that Adam wanted the fruit as well. Maybe he wanted to see what would happen to Eve first before he ate the fruit. Upon seeing that she didn’t die immediately he ate as well.

No matter what God said no. Both were wrong and God gave Eve to Adam therefore Adam was responsible for her and shouldn’t have ate the fruit!
Many married couples in Scripture, weren't submitted to YAH'S leadership fully, or at all, but you actually don't see YAH discarding or discrediting their marriage union either. He let even their individual choices give a separate judgement.. Even to judge them separately though married.

AMEN

Brethren-in-Christ,
Adam was not in the picture when the serpent beguiled the woman.
Please read in context.
I’m gonna tap more into this Bible but I heavily suggest it
This is dicey teaching around 4:35 minute mark. That is not biblical teaching. It is the man's erroneous thoughts being express publicly.
Why did U think Adam heard the snake. Or saw the snake?
@@sunnydays6237 very aware & can quote it. Why the reference?
What scripture says that they did not eat from the tree literally?
WHO had the command first, Adam, and he watched the snake the whole time talking to her🤔knowing what God said?
A snake in a garden would not have looked unatural to adam... 😊😊😊

Why would you look into the greek when that line of a woman ruling over a man was in Hebrew
Greek Septuagint is the oldest non fragmented old testament that we have. There is no non fragmented Hebrew old text that predates the Greek.
