Great assessment. Christian UA-cam much like many communities is a wide spectrum. I’ve been fortunate to be in a great church with a pastor that’s engaged.
In the last year We’ve made conscious effort to make “net positive” content. Avoiding dunking on celebrities or celebrity pastors.

Ya, it can be tough to keep a balance. Everyone is doing a good job but it would be good for the next generation of Christian influencers to hear us give some advice on how to manage it.

When the focus of what Christians do is hunting out heresy we are wrong. Most of these you tubers do not focus on teaching and preaching the gospel in my experience . The danger is that many of these people do not check themselves even if our motives are right we can still be very wrong. I have watched people who are very popular and have a large following like Voddie Bochum John McArthur if you question their doctrine people come after you it’s the same with the prosperity preachers. The majority of us who follow these people don’t seem able to rightly divide the word of truth, one of the things I have issue with is when Christians constantly are calling each other out. What is our Christian witness, we forget the unsaved see us. I watched a channel that said “like and subscribe so we can have more followers than Kenneth Copeland”.

Thank you for doing this. I can't stomach the Christian UA-camrs critics culture. It giving Christianity a bad rep. I'm not for it at all. I don't find any proper biblical foundation to it. Our Lord said they will know us by our love. Nothing loving with the calling out one another. Please don't stop there @trackstarz I believe you can bring a change.

yes. the word says God will judge the world. however we are to put out the evil person from among us. meaning wolves in thechurch. that is why my channel is focused on critiquing the issues and false teachers WITHIN the church. i don't do too much of judging the world which most christian youtube channels do. because that it is not our job to judge them. the church is in enough mess on its own

@@christianforrealjudge righteously 🤦🏽‍♀️. In Ephesians we are called to expose wolves. We as Christians have to stop ignoring this.
However, when all they do is “expose” and call it a ministry….beg to differ.

It isn't a problem at all. Are we called to run at them with pointing fingers, screaming, and yelling that they are damned? No, not in the least. Are we to expose their destructive teachings to those that would hear with proof in the word that opposes what they claim? Yes.
We are not to participate in their desteuctive teachings but absolutely we are to call them out when seen.
But it should never be our mission or joy to do so.
When we come across those that teach wrongly, we reprove with kindness and openness, using the word and not opinion.
Ephesians 5:11-13 as just one example.
And do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rsther even expose them, for the things being done in secret is shameful even to speak of, but all things becoming exposed by theblight become visible.
And how many times did paul in his letters call out false teaching of those who missed the mark or had twisted scripture?
Did he not sleak to an entire church and tell them he was surprised how quickly they turned away from the true gospel?
Do not pay heed to those like these people who only seek to argue in endless controversy on teachings they are unaware of.
Resd the word in full and dont follow the allures of mans interpretation of the word. It interprets itself.
      Grace be with you all.

I have recently been put on the Christian UA-cam channels - I've become a member on Ruslan's Patreon - I watch Nick Jones and also Truth IS and you guys here at Trackstarz and I attend church regularly - hoping to find a good time to be incorporated into a small group with the church I've been going to. If there is one key thing I've learned through watching the podcasts or the videos - it is that, there is so much going on in this world that is happening that has pulled me away from my relationship with God. There is so much work on the enemy's end and divisiveness and messaging and symbolism out there that I am only learning now how someone who wants to do right and be hot for God can also be swayed. The videos have helped me be more aware of the content I consume - especially the secular content - the messages the lyrics the movie plots -- the shows -- ALL OF IT. If anything, the videos have helped me pursue God more and want to be set apart from the things of this world. I always enjoy listening to your podcast - your takes and POVS - the insight is enriching!

Great show and a needed discussion for sure! Some channels you mentioned are sarcastic in their delivery. More like you're dumb, I'm smart and you should know A B and C.This is very dangerous. You see the pride building up. We have to stay prayerful for all the christian influencers as we do for our pastors and church leaders. Why? They have a platform and baby believers and nonbelievers are watching. Key takeaways from this episode is heart posture and being led by the Holy Spirit. Pray for discernment too.

The problem with Christian UA-cam is its thinly veiled preoccupation with worldliness and finding a middle ground between the church and the world, when the way calls us to be seperate and holy. With all the Christian's in the UA-cam space, the world doesn't seem any safer, and even worse, it doesn't seem any more informed on how to live a life pleasing to God. It seems more confused, with many forever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.

@@trackstarz I believe it's time for God's people to be God's people and his alone; he's a jealous God. The fact that there are "Christian influencers" means that there are people who were called out of the world that still choose to model their lives and platforms after it. We're supposed to be in the world to plant and water for the harvest, but not of it, lest we defile ourselves with the pleasures thereof. Yet, these influencers spend much of their time discussing the same topics that pop culture channels talk about. Covering those topics from a "Christian perspective" is just another way of entertaining godlessness, witchcraft, debauchery and mammon. Why is it that our people (Christians) want to engage so much with the culture of this world instead of rejecting it completely? That's what holiness is, being separate unto God, and his standard is holiness. There's no middle ground. Many of these influencers have led God's people astray by shepherding them into the world and calling it middle ground. The way to the kingdom is a narrow one, and the road traveled by the so-called influencer is broad. It's sad. Thanks for responding.

Rely with something YOU HAVE WITNESSED Pastor Gino do that goes against the Holy Scriptures. Please don’t reply with him being “judgmental” because Jesus Christ said to TEACH ALL OF IT. He never said to NOT HURT US SINNERS FEELING. Matter fact He said to hurt our feelings. Gino is a GOD SENT PREACHER NOT A MOTIVATED PROSPERITY SPOKESPERSON.

    • @JaiClaire880
      @JaiClaire880 10 місяців тому +4

I think the answer is practical. It cost money to run a channel and since they are not supported by a local church and are putting hours into developing these videos, you need to make money to continue to support what you do. And to address Shai Linne, I love his music, he has a patreon so I believe he was talking about the prosperity gospel and people using ministry as a retirement fund.
