The spiral C.B. antenna is a way to give the antenna the correct physical (and therefore electrical length) of 108" to match the operating radio frequency of 27 Megahertz (Mhz).

I do like the standalone ???floating??? headlights of the Peterbilts over the Kenworths ... the round headlight assemblies I find are even cooler. I absolutely love the bead-rolled all steel sheet metal sleeper on that classic, ... very very beautiful!

Cb wise it helps the antennas reach the full 10 meter band and it helps cool the antennas because them antennas can push out a lot higher watts than most radios put out

Your truck looks awesome, but it could possibly look even awesomER with a really cool original orange and white stripe pattern that sets it apart from other black Peterbilts...maybe you guys can come up with several stripe patterns and have your subscribers vote on what they think is best...just an idea.

The screw style antenna is for the higher powered CB's it makes for a longer antenna but in a compact version
Race car drivers in the early days used to do something similar to that with the fuel line in the car I know it's not the same but kind of sort of LOL
Each one of these trucks is more beautiful and gorgeous from the next and they are all, every last one, absolutely priceless works of working art.
