Really no 1-minute response can fairly answer that question.
The face gives you 1,000 reasons.
All hair is attached to a nerve, that's sensory feedback. Your brain will sense the environment and you'll know a wind is coming before others. If you never let your body grow those antennas, then your mind can't conceive of how to use them, your brain will be untrained. You have to let it grow to know what it senses.
Information may even be transmitted from the brain, to the nerve and out the hair but that's just something I think may be possible.
It's the only part of your anatomy people insist you cut off as if it has no purpose.
Why not put our eyebrows on trial for their existence?
