So I took the trek out to Tampa on the third Friday of the month to check out the Summer Celebration. It was a great experience. The firework show at the end was something special, and the whole place was very colorful and festive. My two favorites were Iron Gwazi and SheiKra. Also, as far as entertainment and the like goes, Turn It Up was a very charming ice skating show, and Cirque Electric was lit with acrobatic stunts. This go I got 21 rides in total with the Quick Queue, but I was just as focused on taking everything in as I was getting in rides. But it was just awesome.
The fireworks are incredible! Iron Gwazi was closed when we were there so we haven’t gotten the chance to ride it yet. SheiKra is such a fun coaster, if you love coasters Busch Gardens is for sure the place!
Thanks for sharing the tips! My wife and I will be visiting for the first time next month and will be getting the dining plan. Also, I wasn't aware about the shuttle service so we will make sure and get a hotel nearby that offers it. I'm really looking forward to both Iron Gwazi and Cheetah Hunt! ~Jonathan
You’re welcome! We hope you have a great time! Let us know how Iron Gwazi is! At the time we went it was closed. Would love to know which hotel you stay at as well! - A
As a local passholder your tips are spot on. The Smokehouse is my favorite. I like that you guys highlight the the zoo aspect. BG is a nationally ranked zoo and seeing a real cheetah go from 0 to 60 mph in 2 seconds is a must do. Iron Gwazi is probably the best coaster counting the Orlando parks as well. I have done them all. Velocicoaster is my #2, but really close, and Hagrids #3.
Thanks!! We really thought out all the tips we gave for this video. We can’t wait to go back to BG and ride Iron Gwazi, it looks like it would be a lot of fun!
@@notsurex on some of it yes! I believe the fruit and dessert had those options. On the meats and sides you’re choosing while a server puts them on your tray/plate
@@notsurex It is not a buffet. You walk down the line picking up sides that you want. And then you tell them what entree or meal combo you want and they plate it up.
Thank you! Taking grandsons on Dec. 21, but unfortunately I don’t think they will have fireworks and close at 8pm. It was the only day we could go, so kinda bummed about that. Happy Holidays!❤
Great tips! We are about 2 hours away from the park and have gone twice. Still learning so much about the park 😅 Have you been on Iron Gwazi? I'm debating on if too intense for my 5 and 8 year old. They love Cheetah Hunt though.
@@b-aadventures Thanks. That's what I'm thinking too. I'm surprised it's only a 48" height requirement but I guess the straps are safe for shorter height than others.
@@EpicFamilyQuests Not a problem! Wow really? 48” as a height requirement!? That’s kind of small for a height requirement, the thing we do know is that it does go very fast!
We actually have only visited one time! We really enjoyed it and are planning to make another trip soon! We aren’t sure how soon, though, we have a lot of things planned this year for BA Adventures. -Brady
Hey guys lovely vid, nice tips, we are going from the uk, staying Rosen plaza getting 2 week tickets, so….. will be catching the free shuttle and was kind of thinking would it be possible to stay a night close to the park and catch the free shuttle back the next evening?…… any info on this or hotel recommendation if we do this please?..🙏🏽👍🏼🇺🇸🏴
Thank you! The hotel shuttles are very nice to use for Busch Gardens. We stayed at the Holiday Inn near Busch Gardens but I wouldn’t recommend it as it wasn’t cleanest as Holiday Inn’s usually are. There is a Hampton Inn right across the road from the park that we have heard is nice, I would start there and see the prices of it. Hope you have a great vacation! -A
Great vid guys ! im dying to do the coasters I only done cheetah run was kinda freaked out by the rest trying to push myself into doing the rest is it that bad ie Shiekra ?
Thanks! The coasters are great at Busch Gardens! I loved shiekra! It’s a close favorite for sure. If you are concerned about the height, try the back row first. :) hope you get to try it out! - A
The first time I went on Shiekra was its first year and my brother and my gfriend went with me, we were in the front row and at the top of the first lift when they hold you at the edge b4 the drop there was a HUGE hornets nest on the side of the camera right next to us! Definitely added another element of fear lol. There were wasps buzzing and flying around us while we waited for the drop(felt endless). We told the ride operator at the end and they closed the ride while they removed it. I never understood how we were the first ones to say anything, I mean I'm no entomologist but wasp nests aren't built quickly between rides lol
Would you guys recommend buying the unlimited quick queue for the day? I’m going on the last Sunday of July and I’m just hoping I will have enough time to do everything, including a night ride on iron gwazi. What are the average queue times with and without quick queue for the coasters?
If you are wanting to do everything in one I think it’s possible without unlimited but with it it would be a for sure bet that you get to ride every ride! However there are some rides where you really wouldn’t need it, some ride queues weren’t long at all and that was during Christmas when we were there, hit Cheetah Hunt early! First thing! You should also ride it and Sheikra at night as well! Sheikra, Cheetah Hunt and Iron Gwazi are the most popular coasters, so if you want to have a guaranteed ride I’d get quick queue for those for sure then again if you wanna ride them at night too… I’d say go for it (B.)
Thnx for the tips esply on the seating
No problem! It really helps with motion sickness big time!

I would recommend doing the serengeti tour. You get to feed the giraffes.
Oh, we will have to do that next time! That sounds fun.

I live in downtown Orlando and was wondering how often you all visit BG from Missouri?

Should certainly be able to do everything in 5 days! Have a fun time!
Tip 1 find a friend who has handicap plates on car. Put cooler with food in car. Eat lunch in your own ac .
