Excellent tips, as always. Couple of random ones: Don't leave the park if it's raining. The rain will likely stop within the hour and the lines will be short. This really goes for all Florida parks. Ride Cobra's Curse. I like this ride more than most people but regardless of what you think of the ride, the queue will wow you. It is like a smaller budget version of the queue on Indiana Jones Adventure and it includes a Reticulated Python exhibit. (Super random one) Don't miss the Nile Crocodile when viewing the Hippos. The exhibit looks like it's part of the Hippo exhibit and you might walk right past because you feel like you're done with the Hippos and never realize you missed a massive and amazing reptile.
Awesome video! I was at BGT earlier this month, the second week of April and it was amazing. I spent 2 days and was able to do everything I wanted too. If you are a coaster enthusiast I would recommend wearing some multi pocket cargo shorts with strong snap or zipper closures. It negates having to use the lockers. Also the App is pretty accurate for the wait times on coasters. Beware of the distance between some of the coasters like Kumba and Iron Gwazi. It's a good hike from one to the other. If you like a ride and there's no line, maybe stick around for a few rides so you don't have to walk to the coaster again later in the day.
The best tip I got is free ice-cold water with no line. If you go to the new Springs Taproom which is close to Iron Gwazi, they have free paper cups and ice-cold water tanks, and you don't have to wait in line for it like you would at kiosks and dining locations. They also have them in the Pass Member lounge and I believe some other places too, but these are the two I know for sure. Since bottled water costs 5 to 6 dollars this is a great hack to know about. Hope it helps.
@@chipoid86di46 I haven’t been to Busch gardens but I have been to Universal and the lines at September are like nobody’s there lol. Perfect time to go
Thanks for the great video and insights. What can you say about the crowd on the Monday before Thanksgiving? In the end I have no other option, so do you think to buy the fast queue in advance is necessary?
Thank you! Let’s see, that Monday should be busy but not packed! So I would not purchase it in advance and wait and see when you get there! Hope that helps :)
My next time going to busch gardens might be on october first wich is my bday maybe also sunday to but i missed out on so many coasters except for cheetah hunt and montu im pretty sure but this time im really excited and ready to go on all the roller coasters i can and maybe even falcons fury but i have this weird fear of not the roller coasters but i might get sick after them
Here’s a tip if you go to soak city go in between 12 and three because it has short lines because that’s when is soak city morning people go to the park and then you get a little bit of time before the afternoon people come in until the The waterpark closes
What are the average wait times this time of year? I am going on July 31st (because I couldn’t get a weekday that worked unfortunately) and I’m trying to decide if buying unlimited quick queue is worth it. Since I’m not buying it 3 months in advance it’s going to be about $150 per person for unlimited quick queue plus the free priority ride on iron gwazi.
Florida is pretty busy from mid feb-mid April. Since BGT is more of a local park, I would just check and see when the schools around it have spring break :)
A simple way to answer that is whether you prefer coasters or dark rides. That said, beyond that I'd say IOA does immersion better and looks more impressive. But they are both very well themed and look good. Obviously, if you want animals to be part of your day then BGT wins. Here is another way to think about it: while they are both theme parks, if you prefer amusement parks over theme parks you'll like BGT more. If you like theme parks more than amusement parks then you'll probably like IOA more.
If staying in the September time, can you catch the organised bus from idrive or SeaWorld, do a day in Busch, stay a night near Busch after a day there and come back to your vacation location after a second day in Busch, rather than doing a day trip and trying to cram it in?……👍🏼🇺🇸🏴

If it rains go to guest relations and get a rainy day pass it’s free

Wonderful video. Just shared with my family so we can plan this summer.
Hey Lauren! Thank you so much for that! You’ll love it there! Thank you again :)
It's my favorite park out there and I am going there next week. This was very helpful.
Nice video! Love seeing parks that I haven't gotten to yet.
You’re welcome Jana!! Thanks for watching! 🎢

What about February break will that be crowded?

Been going there for years and they don’t usually advertise the Florida Resident pass. It’s way cheaper !
Great video. We will be at bgt in august and debating whether to get fast pass. What do u think?
Weekend? Or weekday?
