I was a bandsman for 50 years, most of those years playing solo euphonium in the championship section. This man is the best cornet player I have ever heard. Just brilliant.
I doubt any band concerts in central park NY would be true brass bands other than Salvation army bands .most Americans do not know what a true brass band is

Actually, there are quite a few brass bands in the US, and the number is steadily growing. See NABBA.org for a listing of some of them.
