Thank you again Legacy, for another week of dignified obituary of the ones we've lost. You are the only channel I can trust in delivering the passing of the people who touched our lives in special ways.
Most respectful and heart touching death channel. I find myself tearing up and do not know any of these people personally. It just makes you feel so bad for the family left behind. Keep up the great work!!
Of all of the channels that report on this event, I favor this one the most. The lady who does the reporting is excellent, as is the content presentation format. This show should get an award for being best in its field. 🍃
I remember Richard Lewis being everywhere in the 80s & 90s. He was so funny and his hair was gorgeous as you can see in your younger photo. RIP Richard
IT is hard for me to say that I "like" this video since it is all about folk who have died. I can say that I do appreciate the weekly updates, and the reminders of the contributions these folk have added to our world. So I say "Thank You "for that.
Actor George Kennedy was born on February 18, 1925 and died on February 28, 2016. He won an Academy Award for his performance in the film Cool Hand Luke.
Definitely some young folks passing away, I'm only 50 and I have a genetic liver disease and I don't have much longer myself and my dear sister passed away at 43 , I really think more people are passing younger than in the past.
Rest in peace Richard Lewis and Cat Janice. A buddy of mine, Kevin Chambers who hosts a local Kitsap County based radio show lost his mother Wednesday afternoon. She had been placed in home hospice care on Monday. Condolences go out to Kevin and his family.
When I heard Mr. Lewis passed I knew the name but wasn't sure who he was then when I saw his picture it was a shock how fast time goes by. Peace and GOD Bless You From Saginaw Michigan Dontoons
I think one of his famous broadcast was 1965 , If I Was the Devil , I just recently went back to review it again everything that he stated in that radio broadcast has come to pass , just saying .
Richard Lewis is in one of my favorite comedy movies, the early-90s romp “Once Upon a Crime.” It’s a stupid movie, but it always makes me laugh, and his neurotic style is perfect for the role of Julian. RIP
😂😂 I loved Richard Lewis in that movie with John Candy. They were hilarious. So was Sean Young. RIP to Richard and John and everyone who passed away this week. 🙌
All the things people who knew Richard are saying about him are so wonderful. It’s nice when all that comes about someone are such good stories. Sounded like a great friend & sweet person. How I wish he stayed with us for many more years.
R. I. E. P. "Peetah" Morgan. The voice of a generation, and the voice of one of the best reggae bands I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Thank you for the music. ❤
I met VIRGIL at multi-media convention. I knew nothing about wrestling. He called me over and we struck a long conversation. Such a gentleman. R. I. P.
I met him way back when I was a kid. He was carpooling with tatanka, and I think it was Luke of the Bushwackers. Cool guys. They were ready to get on the road and took the time to chat up a little kid. Virgil was also doing a signing one time and they let us play in the ring a little bit.
I had a way different experience with him at a Fangoria (horror film magazine) convention. He hit on me and wouldn't leave me alone. Even picked a fight with my boyfriend.
I saw that Virgil died but didn't know about Ole Anderson. Friday night, I was watching the WWE Legends episode about The Undertaker; footage of Virgil and Ole were included in the documentary. #RIP
Former PM Mulroney only passed late Thursday evening so this list would've been done up by then for Broadcast on Friday. Give them time! It's not an automatic switch😢😢.😢
I watched "The DI" (1957) with Jackie Lougherty in it, she married the star Jack Webb (Dragnet), but they later divorced, he later said she wanted more of my time and to have a family, but with my career it could not be done. She did a great job in the film too! RIP.
I pray for the family! It is so sad when you lose your loved ones! I love the voice of the wonderful person reading! The voice is so comforting! 💐💐💐 9:44 PM 03-02-2024
Decades ago I met the wonderful Harold Ramis when I was filling out a job application for the Illinois city of Glencoe. He walked into the building to visit with a friend and ended up chatting with me for a few minutes. What a thrill! Of course, we talked about movies. I know he was just killing time while waiting for his buddy, but he was so sweet and charming. I was sad when I heard he was ill, then even sadder when he passed.
You left out actress Anne Whitfield, who passed away on February 15. She was an actress who began her career as a child in radio, appearing on shows such as “The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show.” But she is best known as General Waverley’s daughter, Susan, in 1954’s “White Christmas.” She died at the age of 86 in Yakima, Washington.
I'm sure Legacy did not "leave her out" . They probably were not not made aware of her passing in time for this compilation. Nonetheless thanks for the mention. 🪻
Between the pesticides, herbicides, chemicals used in food manufacturing, fake foods, gmos, , environmental issues, jibby jabs, chemicals in cleaning products, perfumes, industrial pollutants, etc etc the increase in cancer is unfortunately, not a surprise.
I loved Chris Gauthier. He played in many Hallmark movies and other shows filmed in Canada. I am shocked that he has left us and will greatly miss his talent! 😢
Thank you again Legacy for accurately reporting. I have seen other channels that have reported the death of 3 or 4 of my favorite celebrities who are yet at this date still alive. Other channels besides Legacy appear to be reporting rumors.
So sad that you feel that way …instead of thinking if someone will be missing you maybe think of the things that you will miss. The blue sky, the color of beautiful flowers, may be your favorite song or favorite meal. Endure in those things now & take pleasure in the little things. Have a conversation with the waiter or waitress of your favorite coffee shop or say hello to your neighbors…maybe you’ll find a friend. May God bless you.
Wow ! Jose DeLeon use to train in my hometown with the Pittsburgh pirates i met him at their training facility back in the 80s, i have pictures of him holding my son ! I can't believe it ! Rest in Heaven My friend ❤️🙏🏾
I saw virgil with my son in the queens gift shop he wished us a nice day. God bless & RIP . He had cancer, a stroke & dementia. Shame. I had a feeling he might pass he was very very sick. I just had a bad feeling when I heard abt him. We are sorry Virgil.
Hi quietman, we will cover Vice Admiral Richard Truly in our next video. News of his death broke after our production deadline last week. Thank you for watching and letting us know who you want to see memorialized.
I agree many animals have thoughts, feelings and souls and should definitely be protected. I think animals are more compassionate and caring than humans. Please remember folks, animals are people too.
Have runa shelter for small exotic animals. When an animal passes it is always important to share with their cage mates or companions by letting them sniff the body. They grieve as we do. I have seen pet rats cry. It is also important for them to go through this if one of their humans passes. When I come home my big tortoise hurriedly comes over and if I sit on the floor will embrace me and kiss me. When I am sick he stays by me watching over. And yes animals have soles too. When they pass they do continue to watch over us waiting patiently for us.
Totally agree, my dog understood what we were saying, even when we weren't talking to her, and did things like a human. Opening her birthday package, getting her leash, bringing it to us when she wanted to go out, and we never did any training with her. Couldn't afford to.. she was gifted and we were blessed by her presence for 16 years. RIP in doggie place.😢
Two wrestling stars,Ole Anderson and Virgil. Sad. Rest in peace. I didn't know Kenneth Mitchell was one of the Olympic hockey players who had been cut from the team in Miracle. Rest in peace and also to Richard Lewis, who was in Anything but Love and Men in Tight.

35 years ago my husband died of ALS when he was 35. A horrible disease. I am so sorry it continues to claim lives.

I’m so very sorry for your loss!
I know it would of meant the world to him that you stood by him through such a horrible degeneration.
I’m very sorry
It is a horrible disease.
Thank you for including British Hairy Biker chef Dave Meyers who passed on 28 February. Such a nice man. Loved him. 😢😢💔
What a lovely, intelligent, sensitive guy. He fought hard, so sorry he lost his battle. Si will feel his loss personally and professionally 🙏🏾💔
Oh, I didn't know he had passed away. What a shame. I loved watching those two on their cooking programme.

I remember Richard Lewis being everywhere in the 80s & 90s. He was so funny and his hair was gorgeous as you can see in your younger photo. RIP Richard
I LIKED Richard Lewis' humour, and that is a rare compliment, because a LOT of Late Night comedians did not amuse me. Richard was unique.
This was the first I've heard of him dying!!! I remember him from his stand-up and my boyfriend remembers him from Curb Your Enthusiasm. Very sad!
I had a crush on him. I liked men who could make me laugh. I heard late last night that he had passed. Rest in Paradise.
I absolutely loved that man. So many good memories watching his stand-up.

I think you well summed up why we hit the thumbs up on these videos- to show that we appreciate the respectful presentation of this sad information.
Actor George Kennedy was born on February 18, 1925 and died on February 28, 2016. He won an Academy Award for his performance in the film Cool Hand Luke.
Also, it was legally mandated in the 1970s that he have a supporting role in every movie ever made. Not really, but it felt that way.

Too many people are dying of cancer. And the problem is most of those dying from cancer are very young.
Not true. Based on just the death notices presented at Legacy it's divided with the elderly.

I miss his stories and his distinctive voice. RIP
May they all rest in peace ❤
