114bleachfan try fighting a dedicated whip build, especially witches locks.. they win almost always cuz they’re unparryable, they one of if not the fastest weapons in the game they have crazy phantom range especially the weapon arts and you can play passive with a great shield or pressure like crazy cuz of a whips speed range and true combo capabilities. Whip builds are one of the most under appreciated, over powered, and difficult builds to master and perform but it pays off in the end I guess
@@williamkensington2772 being unparryable is only good thing they have going for them their range is decent but their damage is off and most people in the community considered whips one of you worst weapons if not the worst weapon type in the game unless they patched it in last two months since I've played

The saddest part is that he had all that hacks and he still didn't have a clue on how to use anything he had equipped. Terribad pyro aiming, autolocked paired greatsword L1's, and had near infinite stamina with fire surge cheesing. AND HE STILL LOST lmao, he makes trashy players look decent honestly.
I'm absolutely dogshit at pvp and even I'm pretty sure I could kill him if he weren't invincible.

For 12 you would literally need 400+ FP

Wow, the Valorheart is one of the few weapons I never tried out and it seems I really underestrimated it. You got me to reinstall Dark Souls 3 to try it out! Although you always get me to reintall Dark Souls 3... Thank for that, Chase! Even though I should be studying.

I can't name any names, but I knew there was a tournament player a while back that slaughtered nearly anyone who said the Valorheart wasn't at least good. Not sure what happened to them.
It has a great moveset for trading, which can only lose to Curved Swords / Daggers (too fast to trade with) and Ultra Greatweapons (too much stamina usage). The other weapons it can take a hit from due to the block frames on its (1st, 2nd and the end of the 3rd) Light Attack, rolling Light Attack, jumping Heavy Attack, and both WAs. Keep in mind I'm not saying it counters all weapons entirely, just that it can trade effectively with these classes if used for counter damage (plus you'll hate the Knight Slayer Ring...).
@@harryunderwood9387 you can trade with curved swords just fine if you time and space right but they are trickier than other weapons for sure

The Valorheart and Llewellyn shield combo is my favorite. Sometimes people don't pay attention and you get a sneaky parry.
Valorhart is my go to sweat weapon on my quality build. Good thing I haven't needed it yet

motherly father sweat weapon meaning it’s when you wanna go full try hard

Partizan for the next video! It's got good combos with its weapon art and has a moveset that isn't just pokes so its different than most spears.
I second this. I often run main hand parztizan offhand kumo or exile on my dark build. Combos fer days and the god like r2 roll catches!!!
Partizan + Offhand Greataxe is a strong set-up as well. Those R2's can combo into some Greataxes' swings if I'm not mistaken.
I think it's only not used much because people tend to not even know it exists.
I actually miss it on most runs because it's sitting on a random corpse hanging up in the undead settlement. Really easy to not even notice.

Valorheart is such an underrated gem of a weapon. It can trade for days while protecting its user, and it has some of the craziest moveset variety in the game.
I love seeing you fight with different weapons for a change

Loved seeing you out of your element, but quickly adapt to a new style with these weapons. I have barely used them myself, but they look like fun.
I'd love to see the Twin Princes GS next! The 2 handed R1 true combos into the beam weapon art. Great with the Leo Ring.

I appreciate this showcase because I wanted to make a gladiator build with this weapon and the follower javelin, so this is quite useful, even if I pretty much only play pve. Another weapon I think would be fun to showcase might be something like the partizan or dragonslayer swordspear? The spears that change up move sets.

I absolutely love the valorheart even though I main heavy weapons. The jumping attack is so fun to use when running, also you can keep your shield up instead of having to rely on your reaction time to attack at the right time.
this series is a great help to people who arent sure about what weapon to use.

Hey Chase, Ive been watching all of your weapons showcase. I would love to see one on the standard glaive. Currently its been my favorite weapon in invasions especially with ganks. Thank you if you can!
I've always found this kind of weapon interesting, just as a fitting set. Also, it really reminds me of the Sword and Shield weapon class in Monster Hunter in terms of moveset and overall proportions.
Please do some invades using the valorheart, I'd love to see that!

I would love to see you use the partizan. I like it a lot with a rotation of the caestus, whip and crossbow in your offhand but that's up to you.
Greatsword Build for EP 3
GG Chase.
You should do a greatsword, for instance the Flamberge because it is very underrated on the right hand and a rapier on the off hand. The Flamberge is good one-handed because it’s two-handed heavies aren’t as good as for instance the Claymore, and use the rapier as a parry tool since a normal greatsword swing combos with a rapier attack. The weapon arts for the Flamberge do insane damage as well, more than most other greatswords. You can also use the Flamberge’s one-handed heavies as parry bait. Would love to see you give it a go!

Sick! I dont even have to ask in the comments! This is my personal favorite weapon. R1, r1, jumping attack is a beautiful combo. If you can learn this weapons spacing you are bound to succeed.
The best part about the weapon is you can roll back and jump attack immediately. Great for whiff punishing some of the longest weapons in the game and the attack isn't parryable and it trades. Can't stress enough to throw the jumping attack out after a backroll it's immediate and people rarely can react to it
For the next episode, Partizan. It's one of the most versatile weapons in the game, and has some mad combos, as well as hyper armor.
Get Dark Great Scythe, It has nice two A scales on int/fth, want to see its actual potential

I would like to see the cresent axe and how well it aged. It used to be one of the few good blessed infused weapons before the patches buffed infusions in general.

Valorheart is my favorite weapon in all of the souls games. Versatile, fast, and flashy. Plus it can lead to some really intense moments when trading
I think Partizan would be a great pick for the next video. Not as underrated as it once was but it's still not as common to see as something like the LKS or Baemore.

Honestly i have no issue with hacking. Ive done it and its not a big deal. Hacking only makes you a scumbag when you switch on multiplayer. If your going to cheat, do it in singleplayer.

This is such a cool weapon. Idk why I like it so much but I do. And I'm a mage I can't even use it well. But I do have 25 strength and 20 dex.
I like the spartaca stab attack
Use the WA guard break for wake ups, it's much more consistent than other attacks on the weapon
I started using it as a quality weapon. But I wear heavy armor and put Valorheart in my off hand, using Lothric Spear in my right hand for poise and range. It has some filthy roll catch and you can 2 hand Valorheart to do jumping attack chase downs. I got the idea from MiriChan.
Ledo’s. I’d be curious to see how you use it against fast weapons.
If you can get someone to walk or trade into an R1-R1, an immediate L2 will instantly kill anyone who tries to panic roll around you.

God i miss valorheart. Easily my favorite weapon across the soulsbourne series
Paired with another round shield to keep the opponent on their toes, and a dagger because the crit damage on the valorheart is terrible, but makes up for it with the L, L, jumping combo. Plus the moveset looks so unique and badass. feel like a spartan ripped straight out of 300.
I love Valorheart for teh fashionz! I cosplayed a For Honor Warlord with this. The shield on the back looks sick too. Speaking of For Honor, do you ever play that? It's the only melee game that can pull me away from the SoulsBorne series.
Two R1s then a R2 an a jump attack work, after landing a shield bash you can R1 into a roll catch R2 which then can combo into a jumpattack, two R1s dont truly combo after bash, the bash attack can trade with nearly anything and not be guard broken except by the guard break WA, you can trade with any weapons R1 with yours and still have enough to do the ss combo, hammers take the most stamina so you can still safely trade only 1 R1 if you block a great hammer/club R1, their running attacks do instant guard breaks so just dodge and try to time an R1, you can just hold block and R1 so you dont have to time the block of the R1, the R1 can trade with the RKPGS first L1 and running L1 and still have enough stamina for two R1, you have to time your punishes as the enemy can still have poise and not be stunned by your R1 so they can punish you, test just using one R1 first to see if you can break their poise and make them stagger so you can follow up, other wise just use one and chip them down
Would be cool to see a pyromancy build, with witch's lock's in main hand and demons scar in off hand

Warpick on almost any build does a surprising amount of damage, would be interesting to see

How did you do the running heavy right after a light attack? I didn't see any shield buffer being used
Just do a jumping attack my man. Flick the analog forward and heavy at the same time. You can doing a jumping heavy from neutral
What amount does the shield block when you trade?
I don't get how you're able to go right into running/leaping R2 after R1. When I do it I just get another regular R1 because it takes time to get yourself running. What are you doing differently?
Kinda fitting for upcoming elden ring, the sword is clearly a fusion of bronze age celt and roman gladius swords.

I've incorporated this weapon as the main weapon in one of my cosplay builds, some little known facts.
Weapon Art shield bash combos into r1 and guard breaks shields effectively.
Running heavy attack is actually faster than light attack and is unparriable.
There is a small period at the start of your attacks where instead of trading your R1 and weapon art will be interrupted by an enemy's attack and you will be locked you into blocking, its best to roll away as soon as you notice it happening.
Weapon Art r1 has horrible tracking, please never use this as it's basically a free backstab if the enemy knows what they're doing.
