- What's going on guys! Welcome back for another Episode of our Yoshimitsu Build Where we are taking my BMW E46 and Doubling the HP with a $100 eBay Turbo!
We got another long one boys so sit back and enjoy! A huge episode as were finally remounting the Turbo and Routing all the plumbing for the intercooler. All the fast Turbo bits finally get put on the car and we finally get to see what this engine is going to look like all dressed up. ALOT of custom work to be done in this episode boys. Hell yeah bro!! Glad I could get you going man. CX kit is cool cause it has the downpipe already if im not mistaken. Deff a cool kit to get you going and learning 👍👍
why dont you get the M tech 2 body kit (front bumper, sideskirts and a rear bumper) the front bumper would complement the cooler much better and you can keep the fog lights. 😃
Oh it’s on my mind brother. After were done with Season 1 of Project Yoshimitsu which is this Turbo Project, i have a few ideas for a Season 2 which will be entirely cosmetic interior and exterior related 😉😉

I love that you doing this on your own , I have a skills development not for profit organization and we are planning on using this format to develop the youth in and around the areas struggling with socio economic issues and to develop thoer passions for cars and bikes into actual sellable and marketable skills.
Thats incredible bro!! You mean the E46 Platform? Im going to shoot a thorough video on it and how special it is for this exact reason after im done with this project! Thats a great idea man this Chassis is literally the perfect car for a beginner to get their feet wet. It has such a high ceiling that you can start off with oil changes and an air intake mod and make your way all the way up to this. Learning about cars and patience and the work it takes along the way 👍 Love that idea!

I think your maf flange is backwards too. The arrow should be the direction of air flow. Your maf might be backwards when installed.

I’ve been waiting for the video to drop! Loving the build! My garage went with the kangaroos team manifold, and I couldn’t keep the ac without custom ac lines.. and so they had the custom lines made, and the ac is not working yet again 😭 I wish I knew there is no need of ac lines being customized with the k64 manifold 😢
Ohh noooo brooo im sorry 😢! I did drain my AC just incase i needed to remove the lines. Lucky its all cleared 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Last thing to make sure I can clear is the wastegate so its not 100% yet bro but we’ll see god willing! K64 is Legit though man he is a beast. Hopefully they can sort your AC issue out
I really think you should take off the cold side piping one more time bro. Have your welder friend cut and turn the spout coming off the pipe to get the perfect angle on the ICV. I was like yelling at my screen when you were going to go back to the welder friend but you didn't realize he can easily correct the angle for the ICV lol.

i think ima make my own ac lines when i do this but this is also a very interesting work around for it i love the way you routed things but im just afraid of melting that ac line when i have no mechanical sympathy for my rev limiter😭😭
Haha naa those pipes don’t get hot enough to damage the AC lines bro so bounce away 🔥🔥
Nice buying with the plumbing. Looks like with a little cutting and welding you should be able to tweak most everything into excellent alignment. The 3" piping doesn't quite fit without a little trimming but it's very close. 1/4 electric grinder is what is missing in your life.
Thank you! Yeah alot of custom fiddling and tweaking but we made it work 💪🏼 Great, whats the benefits of the Grinder vs. the Dremel I have? More power?
@@pythondon Torque and professional grinding tooling in all the shapes. I am still swapping between the dremel and my angle grinder as well but a die grinder lets you be so much more precise. Air tools are much better and its easy to smoke the Chinese die grinders but the Dewalt 1/4" seems to be robust enough for the home gamer. That's the one I will be picking up for my port and polish on the M52 head if I don't have a big enough compressor for an air grinder when the time comes. Air grinder is better but I'm still on a 3 gallon pancake compressor.
@robertfontaine3650 Ahh ok got it. Yeah im still nervous about using an actual rotary tool but sounds like this is a natural progression. Not sure i’ll ever need a rotary tool anyways as I like the more precise work of these anyways and may just outsource the heavier stuff for shops. Will definitely look into learning about those though forsure. Good luck on the port and polish on the head!! That right there would make me too anxious lol just the little debris i had on the valves in last episode i thought my engine was dead lol 🤣
Looks very good. Nice job and very well documented 👍🏼. The intercooler is however not catching much air with the bumper close up like this. I think you will have to cut it open a lot more to get the most efficiency out of it 🧐
Yeah let’s see how things work out. I wanted to cut up the bumper as little as possible to keep a more Natural look 👍👍

You could have just cut your barb down you installed for the icv so it goes in further. Take 10mm off it and it should give you the room to fit your charge pipe better.
I Thought about it bro but that would require me to take the manifold off to get access to the barb to remove and im not going back to that lol 😭 too much trauma associated wit that damn manifold in Ep. 4 lol

im going to buy a 2003 325I as my first car (im 19), and im planning on putting a turbo on it as well. I've been being watching your Turbo build series. Do you or anyone who sees this have any tips?
Start off slow with the car bro. Learn how to service it, oil changes, get it running right. No check engine light, everything right. Slowly get your tools up, amazon is great for your first big tool chest. I got my red and black one there and it’s done me well. You’ll also need the space to do the work. Other than that bro dont be afraid, do a bunch of research and go for it. This is the best platform for learning about cars bro, dont look back. Everything thats been done and been a problem has been documented and resolved. There is nothing we dont know about these and the information is out there so you are in good hands! Best of luck!

Hello, your project is very cool, sorry, could you guide me, the 3 outlets that the collector has on one side where the white and black circular valve goes or what is mine for? It only has those 3 tubes covered.
That Valve is for the Secondary Air Pump solenoid. If your tubes are covered maybe it was modified previously or your car doesn’t have a Secondary air pump? Im not sure i fully understand your question.

I thought journal bearing didn’t need reducer, but ball bearing did… could be wrong though.
From what ive read and others have experienced they still recommend a reducer! 👍

@@pythondon I'm pretty sure people running bottom mount use a reducer for journal bearing because of bad drain pipes. Don't think top mount needs it. Just be careful not to starve the turbo of oil.
