Great demo. I've had the V Collection 6 for a while now but I've not had chance to make use of all the new synths from that release. That being said I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the V7 update!
@Blood Dragon I've got V Collection 5 & 6 which I bought on-line but I don't have a USB stick so I'm wondering if that's a new thing. It might be worth dropping Arturia support an email. They are very good!
Cool video! PS. You forgot to mention that the Analog Lab allows you to add a second synth so you can play 2 different synths at the same time + adjust their levels. A great way to test one synth sound with another synth sound without having to open 2 synths separately and having to control them individually.
Bought this recently for the price of the mellotron which I absolutely wanted. 24 instruments linked in with my 4 hardware synths meand I can do almost anything I want. Arturia is doing a great job.
It would be great to see a Korg 800DV in the collection. I had one of these in the late 70's and it was such a cool synth. Though Im sure the Mini V has equal quality sounds. I would still love to see the 800DV.
Hello. I do have a question I am considering The Arturia V collection but I’m also interested in IKmultimedia Syntronic bundle. It seems to me that the V collection is possibly newer and from what you’ve been saying sounds much better than the Syntronic collection. Pricing is about the same Arturia is having a special until 9 June. I am looking for something that has a great 70s and 80s sound that I can use in my performance. Would love your thoughts. Thanksb
Got the v collection 7 to work in Mainstage 3 for live use. Great sounds but the selected preset in the plug in say Analog Lab, switches to a default sound when changing patches away and back ( even if the patch on Mainstage is saved ). Can’t find anything on google or you tube or in support. Wish I could get this to work as the plug in is useless to me otherwise
So the V Collection lets you open and edit each of the presets available in Analog Lab4? I've got the AL4 but can't tweak any more than what the knobs let me haha
Yes, you can fully edit all of the presets in Analog Lab 4 if you also own the V Collection. Even though I'm more of a keyboard player than a programmer, I love being able to edit presets when I feel the need.
Should I buy this over Kontakt? Arturia is giving 50% off($250 for V7) while Kontakt gives a discount of 50%($200). Which would be the better choice? (I am mostly focused on Hip Hop music production)
The DX7 V is $150 for just the one synth... V7 for $250 is ridiculous, but it’s Apple/Oranges between the 2. NI has more tools for your preferred genre, so I’d probably pass on V7... but then again, for $250 you could sample a bunch of the tones and sound ‘different’ from everyone else playing Kontakt.

Awesome video, however your trick of assigning all controls to midi controllers didn't work for me. In fact, none related to midi mapping works for my Oxygen 61 keyboard.
Dude where have your channel been. You explain thing in N advance simplicity way. That is hard to do, it is what I was thought in pastoral school. In any case could look at the Reason 11 studio with the Arturia controller boards. I have collation 6 but had some of the same things 7 was offering so I will wait for 8, but until then like to know if RS isa good fit the Arturia controller.
Je kan een 'rent to own' abbonement nemen voor 24 dollar per maand voor 20 maanden. Je kunt het direct gebruiken, en na 20 maanden is het van jou. Google: "Splice V Collection 7"
Awesome video, Sanjay. Been an Arturia fanboy for quite some time. Loving all of this, especially the new Analog Lab 4 update.
chriscauldermusic hey bro! The Mellotron tho! 😍
@@SanjayC Oh yeah. It's pretty great! :)
Simply love the mellotron sounds....Good work Arturia
Wow!!! Really love the demo of these new instruments!!!! You are so good in the way you teach!

The CZ and Mellotron are top notch!

Big up for Arturia giving classic synths nice UI
Content is king and your videos rule! Way to go, Sanjay C!

This has been my go to for pads, bass and lead synths. Absolutely in love! Especially the prophet
Always love your content man! Keep bringing the gems!🙌❤️
Great demo. I had no idea their version of the Mellotron was so versatile. Time to get the wallet out and upgrade to v7!
Great production quality In Your video! And I appreciate that it was scripted! Thanks!
Oh what? I didn’t know Sanjay worked with ADSR. Cool!
Abaddon hey! 👋
The Mellotron reinvented! I was about to ask if you could bring in your own sounds, then bOOm! You demonstrated and 🤯
Merci Arturia!

What’s the difference between this and the Analog Lab 4?
I only bought it for the Mellotron which is truly awesome...

Most systematic video. Arturia is a good company.
Systematic = good? I hope :-)
Nicely done!
Great video. Would love to see you do an Analog Lab 4 vs Syntronik Delux comparison video.
Do i need analog lab to use these collection ? Thanks like tour videos. 👍
Great review of V7. Sold me :)

The Omnisphere killer!!!! Wait here comes the Trap Producers!!!! Bout to be an Arturia era in Trap
How old are you to be excused for being so preposterous? 5? 10?

No 32 bit ??
Hi. Can you use different synthes at the same time, and do split? Thanks
Beatles Piano Isack Aik Morsa yep
Can you, maybe, make a video where you compare collection 7 with analog lab 4? 🙏🏼
ADSR= attack, delay, sustain, release?

300 $ to update from v6 to V7 is way too expensive. I'll wait for drastic sale on this one.
offers on now if you haven't already.
Drastic sale alert! I’ve been waiting too but signed on for Black Friday and it’s priced at $99
i got tired of v collection, dont know why.
Ik heb nooit eigen geld om dingen te kunnen kopen Ik ben alleen maar mijn hele leven al verpest en heb geen geluk gehad
