ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was called by my wife at 6:30 AM Monday to a dead battery. I am a boat captain and worked on 12V for over 20 years. I have a Toyota truck and my terminals are backwards to hers. Needless to say.....I connected my jumper battery the wrong way! I noticed it immediately and reveserved the terminals. The car started and ran fine, everything worked except the accelerator. This did it and solved it quickly. THANK YOU!

I’ve done 4 this week at work. Also blows ignition 2, radio, and alternator main. That alternator main is annoying because it’s bolted down by (2) 10’s. To get to those 10’s you gotta separate the fuse box and it’s a little time consuming. I’m getting good at it tho.
How much would that be if you take it to a mechanic

Dam I have to replace that fuse alternator 100amp fuse. My dumbass connected them wrong for 1 second and knew I fucked up when I saw a big spark.

Check your fuses or bring it to auto part store like auto zone or advance auto part. Ask them to delete the lights
Same issue....fixed the acceleration issue....but the Trac off and check engine light still on and when I start the vehicle it doesn't start at the first attempt...how did u fixed that? 2013 Rav 4. Thanks

Bro i mistakenly put wrong jump cables it was dark i didny see i out negative to positive and positive to negative there was spark i immediately disconnected and put the right way.. i start the car check engine light and vsc light came on on my 2008 toyata rav4.. how can i fix it.. please help
Check out the fuses and replace whatever that's burnt out!
Something you might want to look into is a set of smart jumper cables that will continuously beep if you hook them up wrong.
My 2004 rav 4 automatic, was jump started wrong, all the gauges are not working,
Try changing other blown fuses
Your main fuse have to check it some cars you have to unscrew from under the fuse box
