You really need to change those headlight bulbs out to something more traditional looking. The exposed LEDs are too modern and throw off the whole vibe. I like the Holley Retro bright bulbs because you get of both worlds, classic looks with the led.
Looks great. Not usually a fan of the aftermarket visors but it looks great for the period. I agree with a lot of the others you need 1981 headlight bulbs Brian. I think you need to visit front directionals, I get it if you don’t want to drill the fenders maybe on the mirrors with ‘81 style lights.
Bryan yellow truck is looking great as new parts are being added to it classic look cool don’t forget to put front bumper bars on it with a led light lol 😁
Very cool man. I think you should maybe think of either paint or polish the peterbuilt badge on the grill. I peronally would paint it yellow. I think that might look good
Truck is coming around nicely. A set of JJ headlight drop brackets and single old style headlights would really give the truck the old school look. Those led lights really detract from the looks of the truck, its a old school classic large car. Not some new plastic truck.
@@michaelsorrentino-yp7nb 🤣 Well go on any chrome shop’s website or there is this thing called Google that you can type some as simple as “Pete bus glass” in and if you know how to click on a link you will see. They don’t call it bus glass for no reason, buses had the bottom to tint to deflect more sunlight, preventing the bus from getting too hot, particularly when parked in direct sunlight.
Can you get the paint off the fender steps and front brackets? I agree with the other fella on the headlights. Put visors on the headlights. That bus glass and the bug shield look really good.
I think you'd gain a lot more subs if you'd do more 359, 362, and 379 stuff. Us older hands care very little about the stuff with the Def tank on it. While it looks cool, it ain't old school. Same lesson Harley Davidson needs to learn. Who's your audience? A 30 year veteran driver cares more about butternut than 20 new trucks. Love your channel up in Knoxville in Tennessee.
& ur wrong if it were wet- sanded starting with 1,500 grit & working yur up & using Blue- diamond 💎 compound/ high gloss polish of which is also used on older 🎨 paints
Only if there is enough paint left if it's the original paint there want be enough it will be into the primer on the second sanding old lacquer paint isn't like new clear coat base coat paint
@SEMICasualShow Truck is looking sharp! Any way you look 👀 at it, either two horns or 4 horns would look 👀 great 👍 Let me know your price. Still considering on buying that classic jewel 💎
Looking awesome but needs spot lights
I fully agree!

You are spot on with that suggestion
I agree
Good call
Man she's coming along great! There a show in Fla. Get it ready to go there keystone antique tractor museum taking 3 loads
Agree
You will never be content till you have new paint on the truck. The truck is much to nice to have faded paint. 😊
Love this build. I think the horns are right on. I drove an old 359 wide front back in the early 80's This one touches my heart.
Once again I love the quality and craftsmanship you guys show….👌..!
Truck looks great!
Definitely some old school cool. Those horns and the visor, I think, really sets old butternut up really well.
Good choice on the visor. Horns look good too.
Only a true truck driver would understand , butternut ❤
Looking freaking awesome 👌 I bet 4 horns would look crazy cool 😎
B this thing literally transports me back to another era...💯
Keep it up the truck it's looking awesome buddy ❤❤❤❤
You know cool! You always make everything look perfect, with a detailed eye. You are just getting started, I can’t wait to see this truck in a year.
Yous boys knock em out & work is top notch boys 200%
Too late now Brian, but the glass comes out easier with the center piece out, it doubles as a lock strip. Lookin good. 👍
Looking Outstanding!
Looking good..... 4 horns look cool on a 359.... but I'm liking what your doing 😊
Now you need the stick on covex mirrors on the outside edges of the bug shield for that old school look 😉
You got it looking good feller's!

You guys doing a good job love the old truck
Truck is definitely looking good.
Looks great. Love the old school look i grew up with.
Bryan yellow truck is looking great as new parts are being added to it classic look cool don’t forget to put front bumper bars on it with a led light lol 😁
If the glass lensed lights were either a led single bulb or an incandescent bulb would fit the vibe better and look cool imo
Old butternut, LMAO fantastic it's a fantastic truck 💯
Awesome Rig!!! You can tell that she was well maintained and loved!!! Maybe consider using a wipe-on ceramic coating on the paint!
Dane Nelson makes nice products
Instead of plating those spotlight holes.. you could wire up a smaller light pointing straight down(ish) to light up the steps and when the doors open
Old school boomerang antenna would be cool on top of the sleeper
Very cool man. I think you should maybe think of either paint or polish the peterbuilt badge on the grill. I peronally would paint it yellow. I think that might look good
Nothing finer than a 359'er👍
Needs 4 horns!

359 is lookin' sharp with it's new chrome visor and bus glass..
she's a absolute beaut clark!!!!
Sweet ole truck
Needs the spot lites back on those was what topped the looks of a 359 off Pluss they are extremely use full
Put the original turn signal fender lights back on 😊
looking good
Yes u can buff the paint but it looks great flat... great video
I like it. They sure don't make em like that anymore. 😂
That’s because they’re junk. Terrible ride, no legroom.
you need the twin whip cb antennas!
Love it!
Hey that bus glass is upside down. The shaded was to go on the top.
No it doesn’t the tint is supposed to go at the bottom on that glass. Look it up.
@@Quark-b9f OK, look it up where ! I will assume you are a very young person who never seen all the gm & fords etc with tinted windows.

Hey guy's really do know that the bus glass is upside down right
Truck is coming alone nicely, a little polish on the paint will help the dead in it
Machine !
Very nice
Put some fenders on that protect that Bunk !
Can you get the paint off the fender steps and front brackets? I agree with the other fella on the headlights. Put visors on the headlights. That bus glass and the bug shield look really good.
go ahead and paint the roof of the truck and sleeper for protection y'all's paint guy are great and can match it close enough
Add some miter cut stacks and that would top the cherry 🍒 complete it 👌
Big fat stacks
The things you could do to it are endless 🇺🇲❤️💯🙏😏
Only look out the driver's side lol❤
Do they make LED lights that look like old school headlight lenses but shine like modern LEDs? If so you should consider them.
Horns for sure.
headlights need factory style led bulbs. like the holly retrobrights

Put a car hauler front end on it and get it a little bit lower

Can we do something about those faded Peterbilt logos?
Working on that
Am the only one that just wants massive stacks on it? I guess that would take away from the classic theme
Bug shield in “orange”...
Luv the 359 BUTTERNUT LARGECAR & the AWESOME HEADLITES 😎🫱🏻🫲🏾🫠🫶🏾🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊💯📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢🇺🇸🎥📹📽📸👍🏾💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵
Question... what do you mean by bus glass? Is it just flat ?
Man yall trucker guys come up wit some names!!
What's the part number for that visor
There is no Part Number. It’s just the “butternut 359 visor”
So if I call 12 GA they will know what I want by saying that?
@SEMICasualShow Truck is looking sharp! Any way you look 👀 at it, either two horns or 4 horns would look 👀 great 👍 Let me know your price. Still considering on buying that classic jewel 💎
That truck needs mider cut stacks!
Hey Brian what's the deal on the "bus glass ??? Whys it a popular change ???
What’s bus glass?
It’s tinted on the bottom of the pane like the old greyhound buses of the 50s - 90s
flip the mirror Brackets Brian
Can you find a giant white Peterbilt steering wheel?
& amber lights across the front top of the sleeper- bunk
I may steal it from you.
Why would you call a truck butternuts ? Lmfao
whoopee 1st !
You put the glass in upside down. Notice the color at the bottom? That's supposed to be on top
No they didn’t the tint goes at the bottom on that glass. Look up Pete bus glass.
When u gonna flip the mirrors
Yous like your bling boys show pony glass n vjsor look business
The old visor was better it was old school so far thats the only thing i disagree with
Truck looks awesome are you going to change the stacks to the original as well
Why would you do that? The truck is far from being bone stock. Thank God to that! Those stacks are perfect.
