Sadly most of the US youtuber guys are telling us what color nail polish goes with black and grey Yeezys or how to carry your man purse like a pro. Most of my fav youtubers are Canadian or English.
@@chadrichwine2527Canada doesn't need to become a state of the US. They just need solid leadership. They've been led astray for nearly a decade. Imagine Biden being in office for 10 years. Canada will get it's shit together. But only if Pierre gets in as PM, and they recognize all corruption and eliminate it. And get rid of that effing carbon tax ffs😂
Saw Brent's face on a usual DG thumbnail it took a second for it to click in my brain 😂😂 Brent's attitude of "just go at it and see how things turn out" and old school hotrodding knowledge is awesome!
Hey Rich, long time subscriber first time commenter. I’ve got a little experience with linear actuators from my offshore go-fast’s days, I’d definitely recommend using a quick-release “emergency” pin (with a spring loaded detent ball) on one side of each of those actuators. If one of the actuators gives up it renders the other one useless unless you can physically disconnect the failed one, and maybe more importantly if you need to get that hood up FAST for a fire or something the emergency pins make that possible. These quick release emergency actuator pins are commercially available and usually come with a bit of stainless braided cable attached to them that you can tuck away in a hidden but accessible spot. Great work as always!
I help a friend install an actuator on a race car trailer dropdown ramp, and it got me thinking about their uses, I am building a custom little truck and going to install remote actuator for doors and toolboxes,
It was fun and really nice to see you working on builds again YES working on the Electric Modifications Project is a build. It's just a lot different than building a Car or Truck the mood and feeling is way different that's all. But it was nice watching and listening to You really enjoying yourself while working on the truck. Your mood is totally different on the Electric Modifications Project and you don't seem to have as much fun and laugh less. BUT it's understandable because it's something NEVER done before and you really have to concentrate because a mistake can COST a lot of money.
No, I enjoy all the builds equally. The difference is that this was done over the holidays, and throughout the year I have been busting my ass so much that my tiredness comes through. I had some time off to recoup for this collab
BRENT IS A "JACK OF ALL TRADES" GUY, MASTER OF SOME. HE DOES EVERYTHING ALL BY HIS SELF. HE SURPRISED ME WHEN HE PULLED OUT A SEWING MACHINE. I LOVE THE WAY HE MAKES OLD PARTS (SPEEDOS OR HEATERS) WORK WITH NEW PARTS.
Great to watch you two working on this build ! But please protect your eyes at all times ! I caught you slacking off a few times ... Remember the eyeballs don't grow back and I ,like the majority of us would like to see these projects for years to come !! 😊 ❤💙💛
WOW!!! That's so amazing what you two did with the front fenders l have never seen anything done like that before. It turned out really nice awesome job guys with a little work amazing things can be done and look so amazing.
I can't believe that you're not over the million subs yet Rich! Awesome channel with awesome builds, loved this video & loved laughing along with you guys too.
Always inspiring, and full of great ideas. I'm in the middle of a 65 F-100 that was just going to be an engine swap, now that I cut out the R/H floor pan I discovered a lot of hidden rust so now its a from down restoration.
Back in the 80s I was planning on a tilt hood on my 71 Mustang, I wanted to nest round tubing in the front subframe and use FOUR actuators, 2 to move the hood forward a foot, 2 to tilt it. I wanted FULL access to the engine compartment, that foot would have allowed me to stand between the hood and car if need be. I've never seen anyone do that, if I ever end up with an old Stang again, I might get around to it.
Rich you are a miracle worker! That looks brilliant, even with all the alterations it is just gorgeous. I love it. Well done as always you do the most intricate work without a tape measure, just by eye! Thanks for doing what you do best, keep us satisfied, which is better than happy! From UK.
Love these total Canada Collabs ya'll do! Love to see a mega Great White North collaboration episode with addition the fella from Cold War Motors and Carter Auto Restyling and many more!!
Mopar guy here but gladly watching the old generic motors 64 getting the love it deserves im not a brand snob i can appreciate cool no matter the brand i even like the fordepillar too bad its Ford but like i said very cool
Yeah... I'm not falling for that M12 battery joke again, you fooled me once! Once again, great work. It's nice to see those older projects getting worked on some more!
I’ve always felt this C10 would make a great 1/10th model. One of those high detailed ones with all the operational doors and accurate interiors. I’m only here for the music.
Man that looks awesome and damn I wish I was either one yalls Neighbor because I love doing stuff like that thank you guys for making the videos that yall make
no apologizes necessary great stuff you finish what you start as $$$$and parts and time permits and leaving time to live a life , if some couch surfer don't understand this so be it
Whene? Ver, you decide to do detailing on it. I honestly think you should get ahold of your buddy. Vice grip garages shine juice and save on the patina. As he would say
Might want to check the regulations for Ontario as far as hoods and latches. You might have to set up a latch on the firewall to lock the hood closed to satisfy those government safety types.
I'm not a fan of the electric actuators as they are way too noisy for my tastes. Why not use hydraulic actuators instead plus hydraulics are a lot smoother.😊😊
Awesome video, was fun the hang out for the day!
I love how all my favorite canadian youtubers are coming together.
Canada? Soon to be the 54th state of the USA.

That and the use of leverage... you can make that small stroke open further just from placement.
Big fan of Brents---the man is a fabricating machine and builds interesting vehicles !!
Man , im so happy to see jumping back on this build. This is the built that got me watching the channel. GREAT JOB great video!
Thanks for sticking around lol! Nothing is abandoned, just not enough hours in a day
One I was waiting for too 😀
Excellent collaboration with Brent..you guys are both greatly skilled in many rhelms. Your camera guy is killing it too.
Love the trucks..🇨🇦
@@DEBOSSGARAGE how much did all that cost really?....
Love seeing Brent. His laughter is just so contagious, you can't help but be in a good mood watching him.
Been following half ass for years, Brent is awesome
You couldn’t have picked a better guy to help you, Brent is awesome! What a great collab from 2 creative Canadians 👍
great to see Brent helping out, he is a fabulous fabricator 🙂
It's amazing how much Brent gets done. His projects are not small at all but he burns through them.

Two of the nicest, smartest and best builders on UA-cam 👍
What a dream team! Brent and Rich in one shop equals a lot of innovation and fun.
The two of you half assed the heck out of that hood!
BRENT!!! Good collab.
Great video but whoever turned the music up at the 23 min mark needs to turn it back down. I can hardly hear you over it
Yeah, we'll forgive the editing seeing it's the first time that has happened 😉

I love that two of my favorite Canadian panel beaters got together and went full tilt!
I love it when my two favorite channels collaborate!
The classic" I've been wrenching on the floor" dirt-imprint on the shirt never goes out of style! xD

Awesome to see you back on this build.
That’s the one that brought me to your channel!
Glad to see the C10 back in the shop. I thought you were doing a builder visit, until I saw the [EP 20] I had honestly forgotten about this truck!
I can't believe that you're not over the million subs yet Rich! Awesome channel with awesome builds, loved this video & loved laughing along with you guys too.
Love the humor, Rich has gotta be one of the more funny ones on YT w a wrench!
Thank you!
🏁HELL YES!! Now I know what we will do on our ‘56👍🏼 might add quick pins on the actuators in the event of NO POWER🏁
Absolutely! You can get at the pins through the wheel well
Always inspiring, and full of great ideas. I'm in the middle of a 65 F-100 that was just going to be an engine swap, now that I cut out the R/H floor pan I discovered a lot of hidden rust so now its a from down restoration.
That was a clever idea with the hood, fricken awesome. Good to have you back in the shop!!!!!!
I got a pile done over the holidays. SIlverado Cab is back on the frame and the Bronco is moving under its own power

This would have made an amazing meet up! Too bad the weather isn't great for an impromptu car show.
Good way to spend a Saturday afternoon
Been following Brent for years and your channel and this is awesome!! Great dudes work together :)
That flip front is badass!! 👌

good show.always a good show with Brent in da picture.😎👍
Love watching you building/engineering on the fly. And making it work. Cant wait to see when its all finished!
Brent is super cool. Channel is awsome!
Love seeing this project come back! Keep up the good work guys
Ive been waiting to see and update on that truck!! Love that old truck, It’s looking so cool and that hood is sick love it keep up the good work 👊🏽
Brent is a master of metal!
Great to see Brent and hear his laughter. Hope he didn`t scratch the paint ! = ) Happy New Year y`all !
Rich, the music is too loud. I was trying to understand what you were planning but you were drowned out by the background music.
Yeah... I'm not falling for that M12 battery joke again, you fooled me once! Once again, great work. It's nice to see those older projects getting worked on some more!
Saw the Thumbnail & had to do a double take lol This is a collab I've been waiting for as Im a fan of both channels
Epic, my favorite project, with my two favorite UA-camrs!!!
Binky-inspired front flip hood. 🇬🇧
my favorite channels united!
I’ve always felt this C10 would make a great 1/10th model. One of those high detailed ones with all the operational doors and accurate interiors. I’m only here for the music.
Oh hey it's time to replace the batteries in the seats!
Thanks for the reminder!
I was looking for this comment 😂 I was thinking he could swap the seat one with the hood one after they've been charged 😅
@gavster89 ooh good idea!
Finally ! So happy your back on this beast
looking bad ass man, great work
Man this truck is cool and ya just made it cooler!!
Man that looks awesome and damn I wish I was either one yalls Neighbor because I love doing stuff like that thank you guys for making the videos that yall make
a team up of my two favorite channels
Cant wait to see it finished, sweet setup
This is my favourite project of yours! Good job boys!
About damn time! I'm like, where the heck is the C10? 🗣📢 Hey Rich!
Finish your projects...
Thanks buddy, working on it
Love this project 👍🏻
GREAT COLAB. LOOKS NICE.
Wow, what a great colab!
Excellent work Rich and Brent looks good
Looking good and another great video 👍👍
Brent would be the Ultimate Wingman in the shop. You guys would build some amazing sht working together.
no apologizes necessary great stuff you finish what you start as $$$$and parts and time permits and leaving time to live a life , if some couch surfer don't understand this so be it
Brent is the best!
As soon as I saw the notification⛹🏽♂️
I'll bet this hood project was a complete giggle-fest hahahahaaa You two get along really well. It was fun to watch.
I can not deny that we had a great time
@DEBOSSGARAGE that's a badass machine btw
I’m good with whatever. Carry on!!
very cool build.nice job
Improvised C-10 Wide Body 🏁
Been so long... I have been waiting YEARS for this
Couldn't have, because the last video was under 2 years ago, so it would be year and a half lol
@@DEBOSSGARAGE Yah got me. haha shoot me xx
A Halfass Kustoms and Deboss Garage mash up? This is awesome! I was wondering how far you guys were from each other. It turns out its pretty far. Lol
23:20 I'm loving the build. But the music over Rich speaking is bad editing!
Almost as cool as a truck that transforms into a giant robot, wouldn't be surprised to see that on this channel at some point either.
great Collab
i like his channel too
Bad ass rich nice job
It's cool, but faster actuators would make it much cooler...
Just hit the settings button and turn the video speed to 1.5. Some people come up with problems, I just come up with solutions!
Whene?
Ver, you decide to do detailing on it. I honestly think you should get ahold of your buddy. Vice grip garages shine juice and save on the patina. As he would say
COOL!
BRENT!!! "MINT"
I’m fine with no music at all, but especially not when people are talking 😂 I couldn’t even hear you on that one bit
My favourite build behind the 3 kitty. Your ambition knows no limits. Bagged, twin turbo duramax swaped C10 wrecker? Who else is doing that?
Turn the music either down or off so we can hear when he is talking. Other than that, great video, and good job on the hood.
It's about time😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A Great video Easy Peasy Fabrication lol
Might want to check the regulations for Ontario as far as hoods and latches. You might have to set up a latch on the firewall to lock the hood closed to satisfy those government safety types.
Now you gotta get Vice Grip Garage to come and do the duct tape work.
Killer 👍
Just give Brent a handful of rust and it will get completed.
Just make a leaver & gear to get the distance need, ( and a cool mech, steam punk look) for your push Ram,
I'm not a fan of the electric actuators as they are way too noisy for my tastes. Why not use hydraulic actuators instead plus hydraulics are a lot smoother.😊😊
I would add a pin so you have a back up incase the actuator or battery dies
I just wish it had longer hub caps on it
23.25 wow musics so loud. Couldn't hear you Rich. Damn
the music at about 23:30 is too loud
You could have put piano hinges in the top of the hood and fender, and made it flip up.
