I never knew about the HW FX Device. This is one of the most convenient ways to use Hardware Effects. A new reason why I'll be begging people to get Bitwig.
I just made the decision to switch DAW after 20+ years with ableton live. I'm looking for a script for Torso T1 as you show in this video. Or are you using it without a script? Good vids is awesome
We now just need a specific Midi controller that is super native to Bitwig, because this DAW really goes to the next level with a controller, just look at what Akai is doing with its software and 3rd party plugins, the really interesting controllers need custom scripts.
I'd love for Bitwig to have an iOS version with all these effects and MIDI tools. oh, and video capabilities on PC, seriously, its 2023 and social media is all video.
latency compensation "... and bitwig does the rest". What exactly is that rest? So let´s say I have a BD on track 1, dry. track 2 does have an external effect with, say, 10ms. Then there is a track 3 with two external effects, who have 20ms and 30ms, to a total latency of 50ms on track 3. From a DAW perspective, which track gets played "first"? Track 3 because it has the longest latency? I´m looking for some in depth explanation, preferably also with insert and send FX as examples.
Nice one guys! This feels like a premium DAW tutorial video.

That’s one ( small ) reason why I’m going to get Bitwig 👍

As he shows using a Torso T1 stepsequencer. I have one too. Does he have a scrip?

I meant the one below.

does the rest means it sends a ping and measures the time and sets as compensation, per device
will the hardware fx applied when we export the track to wav/mp3 file?
You'll need to record it as audio into your project first.

What is the macro hardware at 4.40 please?
The controller is a Midifighter Twister by DJ Techtools.
@@XanderEwald cheers 🍻
I had no idea that something like this is possible.
