    Yes. Learning the push/draw is a must to improve at golf. I’m not saying that you have to play that shot on the course, but it’s imperative that you learn it. Understanding face to path is the key to direction control. Figuring out how to purposely swing the club in to out, and out to in, while controlling the face is monumental. And, just as he pointed out, grip, and forearm rotation are huge elements to it. I think “strike” is the most important skill in golf, but face to path is a close second.

    Hi Stuart,
    Another great explanation and video.
    I am going back over a lot of your previous videos as I have found that I missed important nuggets of information the 1st time around.
    You certainly get a lot of information in them and put it across in a refreshing understandable way, it's just I can't assimilate quick enough 😂

    Hi Stu, I have adopted the strong grip you advocate. Intially I was hitting many pull draws but by feeling the weight of the clubhead in transition combined with laying the shaft down by rotating the right forearm externally I have a reasonably straight flight with a baby draw. Sometimes I forget one of these ingredients and pull it left, but it is getting more consistent. Mel

    Does this work with 70 yes and in shots
    Also Is there the so called X factor in your golf swing

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  4 місяці тому

      Pat, was the first comment or statement? The Xfactor is knowledge and thinking on your feet. Interpreting the application with the feedback. That’s the Xfactor of golf. Hope that helps 😊

      OK the first was a question.
      And I was talking about the X factor that I think Jim McClean described.

      @GoodGolfCoaching  4 місяці тому

      What do you mean Pat, does this work with 70? As far as Jim McLean, I have no clue about his coaching Sir.

      @GoodGolfCoaching I am talking about if the information in this video will work for less than full swings
      Jim McClean explains that the X factor is the separation between the hips and the shoulders.
      The hips start to rotate leaving the shoulders behind. This separation is what he calls the X factor

      JM’s Xfactor I strongly disagree with. As for does this work for 70 yard shots, 100% Sir!!
