    Well, well, well...... finally, after too many years of playing mediocre golf, I am back in business. All because I have been trying to get rid of that left, hand crease. Being left, handed and playing right hand I have found your instruction easy to follow and do. Another bad practice for me was using an alignment stick and taking the club away straight instead of inside to inside. My old feel has come back and it is fantastic. My tempo is back and the saying from Jack Nicklaus that you can take the club head back slow and build speed up is back too. Stu thankyou. There are many swing gurus out there and most of them could not hold a candle to your knowledge. Thank you indeed. Martin.

    Another stellar video, Stu. Keep educating us, we sorely need it. Knowledge is quite powerful, but only if used correctly and at the right time and place. I use to be one of those golfers who believed that I had to bow my lead wrist to square the clubface, and tried for years to do that with varying results (horrible advice from others who were completely wrong at least for my game). It wasn't until I adopted a stronger grip and let my entire body move naturally that I found my way. The results were better strikes, more distance and tighter dispersions, all with less effort. It's amazing how your body will do what's right if you let it. Cheers.

    Well, long time no talk. Caught this video and realized how opposite my struggles have been for so many years. The exaggerated swing you made has been me for years without knowing anything about path. Took a few lessons from the local pro and he has me setting up like Rocco Mediate and trying to go more steep with the shaft. I’ve had success but it has been fleeting. Work, vacation and grandkids have trumped practice. Men’s league has started and the scores are creeping up. The grip has slipped weaker and weaker also. Gonna head back into your archives and see if I can rejuvenate the swing. Hope you’re well my friend. Warm regards, NWH

    That was awesome. For so long I played with a very strong grip. But i flipped it. So far in to out and big power draws with low flight. And my divots were pointing to the right also (right handed) with deeper divots. I played pretty good this way but i knew i had to change something. Now i have a neutral grip and swing a little out to in and hit straight to little fades with higher ball flight. I don't have that compression feeling anymore. I need to do what you are doing.

    Another question arises after trying your tips on the course: how do you play out of the rough? I have a lot of difficulties to keep a smooth grip-pressure and allow the club to swing when the ball is in the thick stuff... Any thoughts/help about that?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  6 місяців тому

      Grip it tighter, don’t let it swing as much; uses leading edge but will open you up to hitting slightly right.

    Thanks Stu, it seems a completely different approach to teaching the golf swing. So would you say that the HackMotion is not a tool that would be of much use using this method as it looks for 15 degrees less cupping from address to impact ? Thanks ⛳️

    Hi Stu, as you have instructed previously the clubhead passes the hands with driver before the ball and after the ball with irons. I have question relating this video. Do you actively use the hands to move the clubhead after the pull phase or is it more passive initiated by the pull of the handle with the momentum of the clubhead causing it to pass the hands?

      Hi Richard - in all my videos I reference both hands pulling, not one more than the other. To find out more, watch my “Broom Series” videos to give you clear detail my friend. Best wishes Stu 😊

      @@GoodGolfCoaching Yes I under stand that in the pull phase but as you start to push down on the club shaft, do both the left hand and right hand push down. In other videos with a weight on the end of the club you show the right hand lifting up. Does this apply to the golf swing without the heavy weight or do both the left and right hand push down on the handle.
