    "1 norm is column sum and inf norm is row sum". Great way to memorize this. Really enjoyed watching your video. Thanks!

      DO stanford students need these type of explanations? I mean the professors there are incapable of explaining these small concepts...???? wasnt expctng dis... ;)

      in my case, I come from a top engineering school as well (not quite as top as Stanford), but I decided to take a more theoretical math class in which I may have been lacking some background, and so tutorials like this are really helpful in filling some of the gaps in my knowledge. Perhaps her case is quite similar.
