i recently played a double arms dealer run and it was a lot of fun, id recommend it. All weapons are 1 material no matter what and you get a crazy boost to damage modifiers which youre gonna be getting a lot more of since youre not spending pretty much anything
How do you do double of anything ... I can't figure it out.
The GMO mod only lets me mix different characters.

Wonder if the size increase for Atrificer would work when doubled to easily scale nuke sized explosions
I'm surprised you don't consider Monkey to be "healing through killing"
I take it on all of my melee glass cannon builds and it has a BIG impact. I even take it on ranged glass cannon builds sometimes. The more you kill, the more material you get, the more you heal.
I think the one armed becomes minus 4 armed because of the way it is coded, if the code is minus 5 weapon slots and you double that then you are left with minus 4.
So from 6 it goes to 1 and then from 1 to minus 4
Double one-armed sounds fun, and I’d still love to see a lucky explorer run with GMO. Keep up the fantastic content!
Edit: the idea of double lucky just got me very excited
I feel like double cyborg would create a really interesting build since the engineering modification would be -100% thus you would become a weretato, half the round you’re insanely op and the other half you lose your powers

I'm pretty curious to know if double mutant still work the way it did in the demo (for those who don't know, in the demo you could do a weird thing that made you able to double up the character picked) if it's the case then oh boy we will see the most broken run yet. I'm also curious to know if the old legendary mod you had will get an update as now brotato has a steam workshop since sometime and no other mods do it this way

Btw i also have an idea of a mod which u can make in which u can add a ghost shield it would be ethereal and would give u +1 Armor for every 20 enemies u kill and would scale like the other ethereal weapons. It would be really fun to see ghost with positive armor with this mod
Armor is really strong tho, so it'll have to be every 50 enemies in order for it to be a bit more balanced, otherwise you'll get 100-200 armor by wave 20
@@dragonlord4881 Pretty much. The scaling should be like the ghost spellbook from iirc the Elemento mod (it also starts at 50). Even with the diminishing return, you don't need that much to be near unkillable by most mobs, even moreso if you also stack some hp and regen.

Try double Luck, it is very interesting concept. You have to hunt for materials since you have exceptionally slow weapons and at start NO XP gain. However, when you get any xp item, it starts to gain some and the amount of damage you give by collecting mats is crazy. It is fairly challenging on last bosses.
As with the last run and doubling down on less enemies but not having 0% enemies. This one may be a bit more than double. If we take 100% x 50% > 150% x 50% > 225% (in theory, anyways).
Explorer would be absolutely mad!
I think Explorer/Glutton would be a fun build. I think all the tree food would free up weapon options besides pruner.

A harvesting penalty of -1200 materials (and exp) over the course of the run.
But 2x as much material drops.

18:02 The problem i see with this kind of analysis is that, while true, its fairly shallow, all in all. Alternative damage sources being a detriment kinda relies on the idea that your weapon, the source of your stacks, is capable of consistently killing all, or at least, most spawned enemies, as, in that case, kills achieved through alternative damage sources would be lost value, since you'd manage to kill said enemies either way, BUT, the kills that your alternative source dealt didnt stack up your stats. If you're spawning this many enemies, and having so many enemies consistently on screen, though, the bulk of the kills achieved through these sources would happen to enemies that you wouldnt be able to consistently kill anyways, meaning that no real value was lost, since these enemies wouldnt help towards stacking your stats either way. Of course, this is balanced by the fact that these sources arent killing only unaccesible enemies, but also, close ones, and as a result, one needs to weight whether the value of these extra kills, in money, outweights the missed stacking opportunities. Still, all in all, the situation is rather complex, and specially on this high enemy count, simply saying they're always negative is a bit reductionist. (Also, there is a whole another dimension of analysis that isnt as relevant for casual runs such as these, which is the idea that more value *isnt* necessarily good, as the win condition *isnt* achieving a particularly large stat, but rather, being able to survive all the waves and final boss. The same logic of "i wont take +enemies items as i dont believe i can survive them" can be applied here, as in "i'll take these items that will reduce my stat potential, since i believe i'll need the extra damage output to avoid being overwhelmed". Again, not as relevant for this run, given that the goal was explicitly achieving a large damage number, but still, food for thought)
i know this is 2 days old so probably wont see this but my assumption for 1 armed going to -4 armed is because the coding is just remove 5 weapon slots. so 1 would be 6-5=1 and then a second is 1-5=-4
Double bull will be OP. I've once one shot the last boss with bull. He's OP alone. Just take some dodge so your enemies can pile up on you ;) it's counter intuitive but it works great!
Try double saver its insane i got 18k damage percentage and you get TWO PIGGY BANKS AT THE START
Putting another comment just because we need a meme of reto going "I can fix her" and the -3 harvesting of loud(you sink a lot more resources than you earn)

How are you taking two of the same character? I use the same mod but every time I pick of that character, I don't see it in the second combination phase

i believe double demon doesnt do anything. i think its still 13 materials is one hp. also double bull is basically the same but easier. the damage scaling is the same, but you start with 2x armor and hp regen

You know with this amount of enemies luck is even better because enemies do have a chance to drop items.
Also lucky with rip and tear is kind of hilarious, of you somehow get it in the lucky glutton combo(which is not that strange) then it gets even more ridiculous

endless is extremely boring to me and if I was forced to play it I'd rather stop playing Brotato
