@Nick Trybull he didn't make it into the live episode, according to an interview with him, he reveals that you have to go through a whole process to be featured, and while they did film it, he didnt make it in the episode.
The band is a mix from pop punk and metalcore, but they have a great songs, listen to 2ND sucks! or Sticks and Bricks, Mr. Highway, Welcome to the family!
What are you talking about? Almost every song is kick ass, haha! I guess I'm biased though since I've been listening to them in heavy rotation for 12 years. He's absolutely right about seeing them live. They always have the best mosh pits I've ever been in. They get people body surfing on on top of human surfboards and stuff, haha! Such good shows regardless of venue. I've seen them in hole-in-the-wall places and an arena. Same quality regardless of the place. The crowd is great too. You get taken down, they're there to bring you back up immediately. Highly recommend if/when mosh pits are a thing again. :(
This is a combination of Pop-Punk and Hardcore, which is what we call Post-Hardcore. They are Hardcore with the element of Pop-Punk OR, Pop-Punk with a heavy influence of Hardcore. They do have some songs that could be taken as Metalcore, but most all of their songs are Post-Hardcore. They do have some really heavy Bangers, but all of their music is great and all of their music have deep meaning.
This genre is called Metalcore. It's known for both, clean singing and screaming/growling. And the breakdowns. Harsh, heavy parts and melodic popish parts (mostly choruses). If you'd like more consistency in this genre check out Parkway Drive. They are considered Metalcore too but they leave the clean singing aside. Few of their heavier songs: Karma, Idols and Anchors, Boneyards, Wild Eyes, Bottom Feeder And their "softer" songs: Vice Grip, Prey, The Void, Crushed
Their drummer is The Golden Eagle known as Alex Shelnutt is a certified beast and has been nailing the double kick since he was a teenager. Love this band!
Agreed. That album released when I was going through one of the hardest times of my life in high school. Was literally perfect timing. I always play it to remind myself how strong I can be.
I never knew you did this reaction. This is my favorite song by this band. That middle to end portion hits me somewhere deep and I can listen to it over and over...and have lol.
I’ve always classified them as a confused pop punk band but they have their own unique sound I’ve never been disappointed in anything they’ve dropped they’ve also matured a lot from their older stuff
I got to see them live two sept 2021. They put on an unreal live show. They played their old shit too! I thought they would just play their tour album but they played a couple of homesick, for those who have heart, and common courtesy. I am so glad i finally got to see them.
I’ve seen them perform this live back in October 2019, when they came to SLC. I never really appreciated this song for what it was before. I was almost in tears when he stepped into the crowd and sang the last couple verses. It was amazing. They have helped me through some dark times in my life. I know when I’m feeling depressed I can throw on some ADTR and it’ll hype me up instantly. Thanks for the review I love this song!
Post hardcore has the best of both worlds… you get metal with emotional vibes and pop punk up beat vibes. By far my favorite post hardcore band …. I’ve seen them 5+ times in 3 different states and I’m never disappointed ❤️
It makes me so happy that you took an interest in ADTR. 🖤🖤🖤 love that you are open minded! I’ve seen them live plenty of times back in the day. 11-13 years ago. Their shows are epic.
Bro they soo f’in sweet live. They got crowd surfers surfing on crowd surfers. Lol they even bust out a giant hamster ball for the singer to run along the crowd
You should listen to mercy live by the ghost inside from about 4 months ago. Its one of the first time their drummer hard played live since he lost one of his legs from the knee down. Very inspiring
I almost laughed when you asked if they’re a Christian band because idk about the rest of the remembers but the vocalist is a straight up atheist but they do use some Biblical elements in their lyrics.
Your completely right in the from rock to pop thing, they describe themselves as like a pop punk metalcore band. They are heavily influenced by old pop punk bands.
Yes yes you are right on saying that it goes from rock(Metalcore) to Pop because their genre is actually a pop punk band that has a strong metalcore influince they really have a ton of different names to call them
What you’re describing as the mainstream pop sound is the genre pop punk A day to remember blend pop punk hardcore and pop. Green Day is a pop punk band so would makes sense why they remind you of them
A Day to Remember is my favorite band. I actually have a massive chest tattoo with the lyrics: 'Cast your stones, cast your judgement, you don't make me who I am.' I have videos from one of their last concerts on their most recent tour. Jeremy stepped right out into the crowd to where I was and sang those verses. It was incredible!
The awesome live version of this song is in a hour long video from their “2014 Reading Leeds festival live” just skip to the time stamp that they play this song! Its dope
Yo. You wonder why Lars Ulrich is not respected by many people? Check out "George Kollias - Treasures of Nemesis" . He's one of the best drummers in the world and inspired many to quit drumming...
"I really want to see them live".... yes, yes you do. They're great on stage. Seen them 4 or 5 times at this point..... nothing will ever top when they were doing the tour for their 2nd CD, *which has a bunch of songs you should react to*, and they were playing in this tiny little bingo hall, had about 150 people jammed into this spot that didn't even have a stage. Basically spent the entire hour and a half set standing 2 ft away from Jeremy.
ADTR is it’s own genre. You either love it or you don’t. It’s not all about religion. This is my favorite band and it’s because of the style and lyrics. You can always find a song that hits you in any time of your life. I like all types of genres but this band is primo sir. I enjoy your reactions sir. Widen your mind brother! 🤘🏻
The pop parts are pretty much what is known as Pop Punk. A Day to Remember was (at least when I was a scene kid) known for their pop punk mixed with really heavy breakdowns and guitar riffs. Their new sound in that last song sounds more like they've dropped pop punk for pop in that equation. They're also not a Christian band to my knowledge
In a new posting, the band revealed, "A couple months back we announced we'd be releasing our album Nov. 15th. It's taken a little longer than expected and we just aren't done with it yet. So we are moving this to early 2020. Rest assured, there's a lot of new music coming out very soon and we can't wait to share it with you. Thanks for supporting us all these years and see you out there on the Degenerates Tour." Read More: A Day to Remember Delay New Album to 2020 | loudwire.com/a-day-to-remember-delay-new-album-2020/?
You should goto there shows live I have seen them live like 20 times and it never gets old how amazing they are on stage I have videos of them on IG lol
If you want to see what they are like live, check out "We Got This". Its not a hard song by any means but the video is great. Also, react to Matt McGuire's drum cover of "Life Lessons Learned the Hard Way". He kills it and its sooooo fun to watch
If you want to here younger heavy metal music?!? Try Unlocking the Truth-“Take control”! They’re 3 young (18-20) African American heavy metal group from NYC.... The drumming is killer!!
And in time after rock had its golden ticket. Pop started doing its thing and with a lot of bands like this you have something that came called metalcore or emo. I think a lot of bands look at what green day did in their prime and use it like a road map. A lot of these bands infuse pop and metal together not only because it sounds amazing!! But also because that was how you could sell at that point in time. And honestly it still dose check out (Bring me the Horizon "Doomed" at the Royal Albert Hall) it's a live performance
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING‼️ Please don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE for more DOPE CONTENT‼️ Also, leave Reaction Requests‼️ *IF YOUR REQUEST GET 40+ LIKES, IT GETS DONE!* Till Next Time...😏
ADTR is my favorite group of all time. My son is named after the vocalist.
Nick Trybull idk how I never knew this lol happen to know which episode
@Nick Trybull he didn't make it into the live episode, according to an interview with him, he reveals that you have to go through a whole process to be featured, and while they did film it, he didnt make it in the episode.

Goddamn Right!

Dark Days got me into Parkway Drive. Amazing band.
My favorite by Parkway Drive is The River. Great song by them too!
no this is easycore
@マコちゃん not post hardcore lol wtf
@@nuoxy Easycore includes bands like Four Year Strong, core riffs in major keys, and that's the only real difference between Hardcore and Easycore.
Also they r NUTS live. Unmatched energy
ADTR Beartooth Slipknot and Korn are the bands who have to most energy i think
Walter Charney so happy u said beartooth as well. They are so much fun to see live
pop punk is an awesome genre
A Day to Remember - I’m Made of Wax Larry, What Are You Made Of
The mass appeal of this band lies with the breakdowns and the mix of clean and distorted vocals.
Their drummer is The Golden Eagle known as Alex Shelnutt is a certified beast and has been nailing the double kick since he was a teenager. Love this band!
Yo I can’t believe you reacted to this song, it’s one of my favorites and I’ve been watching your channel for a long time… super dope
They don’t go from rock to pop. They go from post hardcore into pop-punk. I grew up with this band btw, they are one of my favorites.
I fuckin love them so much
You're completely right bro, they got the melodys like pop that you can sing along to and then the legit rock with the emotion
Please Mr. Highway Thinking About the End! heavy song and good lyrics
Alex Hefner did a great review of it. Go check his channel out.
Please do more of ADTR! The whole “what separates me from you” album is amazingggg
They are the most metal pop punk band in history my dude!! You got good ears!!
ADTR is a pop punk/metalcore band. Pop lyrics with metalcore screams mixed into one and a punk beat
Yep and that pop to rock sound they do, they ride that pop formula and that’s why it works
I saw this band live it was by far the best concert I’ve ever been to you should also check out the band Bury Tomorrow they are amazing
completely agree with Bury Tomorrow!
I’ve always classified them as a confused pop punk band but they have their own unique sound I’ve never been disappointed in anything they’ve dropped they’ve also matured a lot from their older stuff
its called easycore
Definitely matured. But their older stuff will always be fucking amazing with how angry and pissed off Jeremy was. Love it
It’s more so he goes from metal to rock. It’s metalcore / pop punk
I got to see them live two sept 2021. They put on an unreal live show. They played their old shit too! I thought they would just play their tour album but they played a couple of homesick, for those who have heart, and common courtesy. I am so glad i finally got to see them.
I like your vibes about understanding metal especially just getting into it, I’ve seen ADTR twice and they’re by far the best band I’ve ever seen
They are one of the highest energy and most fun live shows. Right up there with Slipknot
They have their own very unique style and always have that's what makes them legend status in the scene
Post hardcore has the best of both worlds… you get metal with emotional vibes and pop punk up beat vibes.
By far my favorite post hardcore band …. I’ve seen them 5+ times in 3 different states and I’m never disappointed ❤️
Pretty much my favorite song of theirs, and they have a lot of good ones.
It makes me so happy that you took an interest in ADTR. 🖤🖤🖤 love that you are open minded! I’ve seen them live plenty of times back in the day. 11-13 years ago. Their shows are epic.
Rock to pop to rock to pop to --- yep, thats A Day To Remember!
You like drums? You gotta check out Chris Adler - Hourglass
Its at the Drummer Festival so you get to focus on him more than anything
There definitely is a lot of pop influences in a lot of this style of music for sure
Bro they soo f’in sweet live. They got crowd surfers surfing on crowd surfers. Lol they even bust out a giant hamster ball for the singer to run along the crowd
A day to remember- all signs point to Lauderdale. Please!!
You should listen to mercy live by the ghost inside from about 4 months ago. Its one of the first time their drummer hard played live since he lost one of his legs from the knee down. Very inspiring

Your completely right in the from rock to pop thing, they describe themselves as like a pop punk metalcore band. They are heavily influenced by old pop punk bands.
They are truly amazing live
YES!!!!!! I've seen them 4 times and it has been absolutely amazing everytime!!
Type "adtr sometimes you're the hammer sometimes you're the nail reading" its the best live performance of this song.
Underrated track. One of my absolute favorites from ADTR
Show the lighter side of them, the heavy heartfelt, "end of me" seeing this man and this band is amazing though!!!
Built a stage for these guys a few years back, they’re really awesome guys
One of the greatest shows live i have ever seen.
Yes yes you are right on saying that it goes from rock(Metalcore) to Pop because their genre is actually a pop punk band that has a strong metalcore influince they really have a ton of different names to call them

“If it has double kick I need to see that drummer live man” ME TOO BRO!!!
ADTR is one of the best bands out there! Once life gets back to normal and they start touring again they are a must see when they are in town
I highly recommend Dead by April for that metalcore/post-hardcore meets pop style.
Pop punk/rock! I wish pop music sounded like this these days😭
They are known as the heaviest pop punk band in the world.
The awesome live version of this song is in a hour long video from their “2014 Reading Leeds festival live” just skip to the time stamp that they play this song! Its dope
They are amazing live! I go everytime they're in Phoenix.
This is my favorite song of all time so lets go
I caught these guys love at warped tour back in the day at the Gorge, they closed out the night and it couldn't have been better.
They have like 4 songs, if even, that are “alright” but literally every other is a banger
"this is why I want to see them live" BROOOOOOOOOO if you only knew! after COVID YOU BETTER GOO
Yo. You wonder why Lars Ulrich is not respected by many people? Check out "George Kollias - Treasures of Nemesis" . He's one of the best drummers in the world and inspired many to quit drumming...
A Day To Remember blends pop punk and metalcore like nobody else. Should check out their song “Mr. Highway is Thinking about the End”
Love your channel! You react to the best songs! Thanks LFR Family for making such great suggestions
Rock to pop is exactly what made them so big so you hit it on the head
"I really want to see them live".... yes, yes you do. They're great on stage. Seen them 4 or 5 times at this point..... nothing will ever top when they were doing the tour for their 2nd CD, *which has a bunch of songs you should react to*, and they were playing in this tiny little bingo hall, had about 150 people jammed into this spot that didn't even have a stage. Lmao when you said are they Christian band... The reaction that came after is what i expected. Check out "Mr. Highway thinking about the end"
You should wear your merch in your videos, to show how nice they are!! 💜
ADTR is it’s own genre. You either love it or you don’t. It’s not all about religion. This is my favorite band and it’s because of the style and lyrics. They are incredible live. If you ever get a chance to go to a show I highly recommend it.
Please do more songs from this band!!
They kind of fall under the POP-punk umbrella :D Good catch lol
The pop parts are pretty much what is known as Pop Punk. A Day to Remember was (at least when I was a scene kid) known for their pop punk mixed with really heavy breakdowns and guitar riffs. Their new sound in that last song sounds more like they've dropped pop punk for pop in that equation. They're also not a Christian band to my knowledge

I just stumbled on this channel, you had a great take on this band. I've heard ADTR call it Metalcore- pop punk. Your description was dead on !
In a new posting, the band revealed, "A couple months back we announced we'd be releasing our album Nov. 15th. It's taken a little longer than expected and we just aren't done with it yet.
