This is what I ate with friends in Old Cairo and Gizah. Lunch and sometimes dinner were the bigger meals especially if guests were over.

In those cultures, fresh food and during meal times side dishes/ servings and condiments, i.e., olives, cheeses, or pastries with feta and spinach for example are normal. Going from that to frozen pizza on its own and I'm assuming other frozen foods later on will be a huge shock. Okay guys (and women who get with American men) listen up... when a woman moves you from a foreign country, they sign a paper with the department that issues the Visas (immigration). That paper says that the American partner is financially responsible for you for 7 YEARS. So if things don't work out, technically, she still has to feed him and make sure he has shelter. They approve your finances based on this. That is why I ended up breaking up with my partner overseas.. I didn't want to be responsible for him if it didn't work out. But seeing how this crazy lady is treating her partner, I can understand why there is this clause. HE NEEDS to get away from her, she is truly bat sh-t fr She's unstable and I feel terrible for him. Don't be afraid of going to the immigration office and letting them know what's happening. Immigration knows you're here. They approved it. But your American partner can't just treat you any old way either. They can't put you out with no resources.

I vaguely remember Parr in their story about how they had have a quick ceremony to be viewed as married under Islamic law. And it wasn't even their wedding/ceremony!!! They lied and got added between couples that were scheduled and actually had paid for their ceremonies. Though quick, they were legitimate. Well, all the couples that paid are legitimate. The sneaky couple, there marriage is NOT legitimate. They never filed the paperworks with the court/legal process. That's ok with them. They didn't care about marriage and living in sin. They cared about the court of public opinion though. Through and through. The only time sex is permitted in their religion is strictly enforced, and only ok when married. And not any courthouse ceremony, or any religious ceremony passed of to be a marriage. All Muslims are to abstain from sex until marriage. At which time marriage has to be ordained by our King and written into the books by Him. The marriage stands and is approved and recognized by all, above all else. Going to city hall and having a marriage certificate issued will not be recognized as such by our church elders. Going to any alternative nor alternate religious organization is not permitted nor is a marriage license/certificate issued by _____ to _____. I want EVERYBODY!! EVERYONE!!!! She is just ridiculous. Him seeing the young woman was nothing more than the first familiarity of home he had seen. He did nothing but react to someone familiar. He was exhausted from traveling and culture shock. She was horrible to him. She truly showed no mercy for all he just came through. She had traveled but he has not. She showed up with her own agenda her way. Try again with the entire story line I am an independent free woman who will not be told what I must be. She is a complete embarrassment to grown women everywhere. Grown people would never behave so disrespectful. Selfish people do. I as well don’t like being told what I can or cannot wear. However I also would never deliberately offend someone especially someone I love. Most people I know would never behave the way she has. As well not feeling like they must guard their rights. She reminded me of a very bitter angry teenage girl. I remember being that rotten I grew up like most of us have. She had no business getting married converting to his religion. Childish immature impulsive behavior. She showed her true colors by not appreciating him just being socially polite. My husband at that age oh never would have been so respectful. LOL This man has always been steadfast in his convictions. I don’t have to agree or like them. But I definitely respect his conviction and steadfast commitment to his principles. She definitely needs to get to a good therapist and learn to grow up and beyond her own personal issues. He needs to escape her.
As for her friend who came in and hugged him. She like most of us had no clue this was taboo for him. I didn’t know till he said something about it how offensive we can be to them. I am a hugger as well. Now I know never do that. But even that he was respectful about. He did not offend her or disrespect her. He showed her grace and understanding. His wife showed no respect. Just my opinion of this story line.

Okay guys (and women who get with American men) listen up... when a woman moves you from a foreign country, they sign a paper with the department that issues the Visas (immigration). That paper says that the American partner is financially responsible for you for 7 YEARS. So if things don't work out, technically, she still has to feed him and make sure he has shelter. They approve your finances based on this.
That is why I ended up breaking up with my partner overseas.. I didn't want to be responsible for him if it didn't work out. But seeing how this crazy lady is treating her partner, I can understand why there is this clause. HE NEEDS to get away from her, she is truly bat sh-t fr

Don't be afraid of going to the immigration office and letting them know what's happening. Immigration knows you're here. They approved it. But your American partner can't just treat you any old way either. They can't put you out with no resources.
