This is so perfect! I love that you shared what our chaos can sometimes look like. 😹 I have a pen club friend who is notoriously inking things up at the meetups and then bringing the pen back the next time and asking for volunteers to identify what he inked up. It’s like a puzzle every meetup! So much fun. Thank you for being awesome! 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋
That was a riot to watch!! 😂😂😂 Thanks for adding some levity to my day! FYI - all the pens and inks are beautiful and it doesn’t matter what the name of the inks are!
It looks like you got them right, from here :-) I love that Mayfair pen. I really have to look at their site and maybe also take a little break from buying every ebonite Indian pen that I see.
@@MariaRosseau I was pretty content with your conclusion to the video: it doesn't really matter :-) They're all really nice inks... you can probably just enjoy them
I thought you had cut your finger at first - then you mentioned sewing and I knew that was a thimble, lol! I continue to adore your Goulet Sailor pen. those colours and the bubbles are beautiful. Have not seen anyone else use one, yet they sold out so quickly! You're laughter is contagious - its alright to be confuzzed (second "z" intended) sometimes, lol! Have a great night!
TWO MARIA VIDEOS IN ONE 24 HOUR PERIOD?!?!? Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!! I can't count on both hands how many pens I have inked. Might explain why they dry out all the time. I *am* trying to cut back as I know to keep them flowing I need to use them and having nine million pens inked ain't conducive to using all them. Yeah, I'm a nutter, I know it. I'd love to see more of your sewing. I haven't sewed anything for a long time and kind of miss it. Hey Maria, you're doing great!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for the nice words. You're doing great too, even if you have every pen in the world inked. 🤣 I have some older videos with sewing, but not tons. Maybe I'll make one soon walking through the current ongoing projects. 🤔
@@MariaRosseau Almost every pen in the world is inked - I've got three I just cleaned with the intention of leaving them dry. 🤣 If you feel like doing a sewing, I'd be interested in seeing. 🥰
Oh my goodness you made me laugh and that’s a good thing. Yup I forget what I’ve inked too…I have to keep a list and update it regularly or loose the data. So fun…
I really needed this today. Thank you for posting it. Sometimes it is easy to see other people (social media or in life) and think every one has it together all the time. And I just really don't right now. But then I watch a fun video where someone doesn't remember what ink is in their pens, just like me right now, and I take a lot of comfort in that. (I only have 4 inked but I have no clue what is in 2 of them.)
Oh I very rarely have it all together. 😅 And you're so right about social media in general. Most folks are only putting forth their best selves. This is totally understandable and I don't blame them. But I guess I'd rather let me be me, messy and forgetful as that can be sometimes. 🥰
I'm not even done watching and I'm dyiiing! 😂🤣 I mean, this is my life all the time. I just get to see it on video now! 🤣 Can't tell you how much I need this right now.💜💜💜
Dang Maria, this was wild! I don't see anything wrong with making up names of inks. But what is that LAMY dark lilac doing? Half looks purple, half looks brownish gold? This reminds me of the Electric Company song : Which of these ink is doing his own thing? 💜
Haha! Cracking up watching this, but whole time you are freaking out about the ink colors I'm trying to figure out which material that Carolina Pen co was made from! And the first sailor PG one... Please tell me, and put me out of my misery 😅
@@MariaRosseau I hope it works for you - worked good for me. I had a couple of Jinhaos (I think they were Jinhaos) where I was having the same sort of problem and making the caps threads just a teeny tiny bit slicker made all the difference.
I love how you have the thimble in your middle finger and are pushing with your thumb. I push with my ring finger. LOL you're as bad as me with forgetting what ink is in what pen...
I do use the side of my middle to push the needle, most of the time. I swear. 😅 I'm usually really good at remembering which ink is in which pen, or even telling the ink from the writing sample. This is so confusing to me. 🤣

And MAN I want that blue Watts!
Ugh. Now that I look again, that mystery ink could be Diablo Lake. It's so hard to tell over video... 🙂
I, on the other hand, should probably own more ebonite pens from India. 🤣
What I think I need to do is write a bunch with each so I know I'm not seeing the super saturated versions of them and then maybe I can tell. 😅

Imagine getting halfway through a currently ink and realizing you don’t know what ink you have in your pen. I’m glad you posted it…I needed a laugh
I thought for sure I knew! 🤣🤣

Going with Stardust from turnt penco for first one, Goulet exclusive stealth purple for sailor?
The Sailor was a Goulet exclusive, Northern Lights. The Carolina Pen Co... I didn't ask. 😅🤣🤣
Try putting just a teeny tiny amount of silicone pen grease on the cap threads, but none on the barrel threads. Works nice for me.
Oh brilliant idea! 🥰
