Ordered this just now to use with ps5 and pc. Selected this after considering the sound quality, mic quality, availability and the price in India. I went through some wireless headsets like steel series arctis 1, blackshark V2 pro, logitech g733, pro x and hyper x cloud stinger core before selecting this. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 😃

How's the sound quality for competitive game like CSGO/Valorant or other game especially FPS game? is the footstep can be hear clearly? Btw nice review video man, the quality of your video is 💯
Hey thanks for the kind words. Footsteps can be heard easily. I play a lot of Warzone and it works perfectly. No issues identifying sounds from left or right or above or below. Hope that helps!
@@SabeTheApple and how's the battery performance? after 7 months you bought it, is the quality of the battery decreasing, maybe it runs out faster or not
@@bagas3190 to be honest battery life is the same. It lasts a good amount of time. When it's getting low it beeps so you have a warning. It beeps intermittently so to remind you. It charges quickly though. Only thing is if you charge and use the microphone at the same time, your friends can hear a slight buzzing. For those moments I switch to microphone on my ps5 controller. As the user, you can't hear anything. I'd say battery lasts about 15 hours or whatever the stated time is. It's pretty good.
I bought this headset on sale just in case I might need it someday and I can say it's a big downgrade from the Hyperx Cloud 2 that I'm currently using. The headset is less comfortable than the cloud, has worse sound (everything sounds more hoarse with this compared to Cloud), and when it's on it has a slight buzzing noise. It is not noticeable when you're listening to something or gaming, but at those idle times where you are just browsing the internet the constant buzzing coming from this headset gets annoying. The only plus side is it has a better microphone than the Cloud2 and it is wireless. I still regret the money I spent though, should've bought another cloud for sound quality alone
If you want sound quality then purchase a studio headset and get an independent microphone. Gaming headsets offered middling quality on both ends and generally only sell high because they offer both and have the word "gaming" attached to their marketing.
i know kinda late question, but are u sure u had the wireless version and not the bluetooth version? (Yes there is a difference, I just noticed today too)
@@fadhlurezasebastian7045 well I typically work from around 9am to 7pm and it works well during that entire time. If I'm maxing it I'll get two days. I don't always spend time on calls you see or listening to stuff so it'll last me about 4-5 days before it needs charging. It'll beep you when it does. Also you can still use it whilst charging, as long as you don't mind the cable to one side. I do that in emergencies.
@@SabeTheApple thanks for ur reply! i decided to go for the hyperx cloud 2 wireless because of the longer lasting battery, it takes me 3 days with somewhere around 12 hours a day to actually drain out the battery!
So this is not a bluetooth headset unfortunately. This works with a wireless 2.4Ghz USB receiver. Your sound source device needs to have a USB A port such as a PS4/PS5/PC etc. Not sure about XBOX though. Hope this helps.
My girlfriend bought this headset to use on her PC, but her mic quality isnt nearly as good (even tho the quality in the video still isnt that good imo) but hers is so much worse, like its very muffled and we tried everything to fix it, we use discord btw.
Yeah it's not the best. It's significantly better than using a PS5 controller microphone. I would suggest if you are using a PC, then get yourself an external microphone such as a blue snowball ice microphone. If you check my review on the logitech webcam, there is a small audio sample of the snowball microphone.
This doesn't have noice cancelling. Nothing to turn off. There isn't a transparency mode. If using a PS5, press and hold the mute button on the controller and it'll mute all sound.
@@adhamahmad89 If you're certain the battery isn't lasting, then it might be worth a claim. However, the manufacturer may claim that battery life varies depending on your level of usage. Truthfully I have no experience with the hyperx cloud flight. Having said that, I'm starting to get headaches with the corsair headphone. It's actually too heavy. I've tried the steelseries and it's significantly better! Even the cheapest of their wireless range appears to be a LOT lighter and easier on the head.
bro that microphone quality is horrible how do people keep talking up on these headset mics while their voice sounds like theyre straight out of an atari
Gotta say mate fantastic review. Just bought one of these for my ps5. Cost £48 from Amazon Warehouse, seemed a good deal.
Nice one! Only thing is I wish the battery life was stronger.

Agree, these HS70s are very good considering the price. Just be aware, they only work on PC or PS.
