Thus said Hashem: If the heavens above could be measured, and the foundations of the earth below could be fathomed, only then would I reject all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done, declares Hashem." @Rylo Christblood Isaiah 9:6 ; For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
      When was Jesus called the Mighty God, the Eternal Father and the Prince of Peace?
      If according to you, Jesus in John 17: indicates that the father is the one and only true God, then he is not the mighty God.
      The Eternal Father: Is Jesus the Father?
      where is he called father?
      If you say so, then you fall under heresy according to Christian dogma.
      Prince of Peace: Martheus 10:34 Don't think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
      Isaiah 9:6 is invalidated by Jesus' own words in your book.

U remind me of the Pharisee Jew who fasted 2 times every week & bragged about it. Here is the story, Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood alone by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people-robbers, evil-doers, adulterers-or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.
      The tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
      “YEHONATAN!! That tax collector, rather than the bragging Pharisee was justified before > אֱלֹהִ֑ים . For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Now be a good Yehonatan & FAST and do not be SLOW!

    The story of Christianity is really simple and a man named Paul invented a new religion out of a combination of Judaism with a religion of Mitra
    He took a well-known figure of a rebel in Rome (who were many) and converted the whole religion upon him.
    This is exactly what the Muslim king Abdulmalek did when he took a figure of a warrior in the Persian Empire named Issa Abu Kabisa and called him the blessed Arabic Muhammad!
    While Paul took variables from Judaism Abdelmak took elements from Gnostic Christianity
    Both of these religions are human inventions - which is why they are fluid and can contain a lot of conflicting messages in their content! To suit many types of people!

    To those Christians who believe that the word almah is defined as virgin, please explain the following:
    Isaiah had used the word Betulah 5 times in his corpus of Isaiah found in the following places:
    Isaiah 23:4; 23:12 ; 37: 22; 47:1; 62:5
    If Isaiah wanted to convey that almah was a virgin why didn't he use betulah in the one place Christianity desperately needed it to, to tie the narrative of Matthew 1:23 to Isaiah 7:14? Instead in Isaiah 7:14 he chose to use Almah, why?

    • @D18.21
      @D18.21 2 роки тому +3

      Wrong, Almah means young woman. Further, its use is "ha almah"in Isaiah 7:14, "The young woman". The "ha" means "the". Thus a reference to a specific woman. Additionally it uses the word "hyne", which means "here is" or "here". Thus , here is the young woman.
      Try again! This time answer why Isaiah used betulah 5 times in the book of isaiah and not in Isaiah 7:14?
      Will you now apply the masculine version of almah, "alem" to king David as "a young virgin male". The NT translates in Samuel alem correctly as young man, yet the words almah and alem are the same word with one used to describe a young woman and the other a young man.

      This is easier to explain in another language that has grammatical gender with a single word translation. Most English speakers viewing this video would be familiar with the most basic of Spanish (especially in the USA).
      Señor = man👨🏻 איש
      Señora = woman 👩🏾 אישה
      Señorito = young man🧑🏽‍🦱 עלם
      Señorita = young woman 👱🏻‍♀️עלמה
      Niño = young boy 👦🏼 ילד
      Niña = young girl 👧🏻 ילדה
      Nene = male baby 👶🏼 תִּינוֹק
      Nena = female baby 👶🏻 תִּינוֹקֶת
      Then you can pluralize each of those Spanish words, or in Hebrew you can either pluralize, or more rarely use the dual form, but I digress.
      None of the above Spanish words convey virginity, or lack therefore, and the same is true of their Hebrew counterparts.
      Unfortunately, most Spanish translations of the Bible are themselves translated from earlier mistranslations of the Bible into other languages which themselves incorrectly translated עלמה as “virgin” rather than that language’s equivalent of “señorita”.
      The Hebrew word used in the Hebrew Bible is עַלְמָה pronounced ʕal’ma (it is feminine singular and the equivalent of “señorita”), the masculine singular counterpart is עֶלֶם, ʕel’em‎.
      The Hebrew verbal pattern is קַטְלָה (qatˤ’la).
      Like señorita, the word ʕal’ma means a young, unmarried female of marriageable age, it is independent and irrespective of her virginity. Once a young woman marries, she is a señora, irrespective of whether she remains a virgin after marriage, throughout her marriage and into widowhood or divorce.
      Neither “señora” nor “señorita” nor any of the other words convey virginity. They just concern gender and age and if they’re married but not if they’re virgins, whether before or after marriage.
      The Bible uses the equivalent of señorita. It doesn’t use the word for a virgin in the feminine singular which would be בתולה pronounced Betulah.
      That’s as simple an explanation as can be given.

    • @dsp6373
      @dsp6373 2 роки тому +1

      @Rylo Christblood you’re joking, right? Stop projecting.
      It is Christianity which is obsessed with Judaism. The whole premise of the religion of Christianity is predicated on fulfilment of Jewish prophecy (which is misconstrued and mistranslated in any event).
      It would’ve been better for Christianity to do what Islam did: start their religion from scratch and not rely on the Hebrew Bible (or the Christian New Testament) to prove the accuracy of the Quran.
      The fact that the Christian New Testament predicates itself as relying on the Hebrew Bible to assert its divinity and validity, and therefore the truthfulness of Christianity, is itself what destroys the Christian New Testament’s (and therefore Christianity’s) claims.
      The Quran doesn’t do that with either Christianity or Judaism because the Quran deliberately doesn’t rely on the Christian New Testament nor the Hebrew Bible, it starts from scratch. The Quran (and therefore Islam) dismisses any contradictions between the Quran and the New Testament or the Hebrew Bible as the fault of what Islam asserts is the corruption in transmission (deliberate and/or negligent) by Christians and Jews of their respective scriptures.

      @Abraham Mani go away pagan
      The Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a Descendant of King David AND King Solomon
      The Messiah must be a member of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:10) and a direct descendant of King David & King Solomon (2 Samuel 7:12-14; 1 Chronicles 22:9-10). Genealogy in the Bible is only passed down from father to son (Numbers 1:1-18).
      There is no evidence that Jesus really had this pedigree, and the Christian Bible actually claims that he did not have a “birth-father” from the tribe of Judah descending from King David and King Solomon (Matt. 1:18-20).
      Ingathering of the Jewish Exiles
      When the Messiah is reigning as King of Israel, the Jews will be ingathered from their exile and will return to Israel, their homeland (Deut. 30:3; Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 30:3, 32:37; Ezekiel 11:17, 36:24).
      This has clearly not yet happened and we still await its fulfillment.
      Rebuilding of the Holy Temple
      The Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt (Isaiah 2:2-3, 56:6-7, 60:7, 66:20; Ezekiel 37:26-27; Malachi 3:4; Zech. 14:20-21).
      The Temple was still standing in Jesus’ day. It was destroyed 38 years after Jesus’ crucifixion and it has not yet been rebuilt.
      Worldwide Reign of Peace
      There will be universal disarmament and worldwide peace with a complete end to war (Micah 4:1-4; Hoseah 2:20; Isaiah 2:1-4, 60:18).
      Wars have increased dramatically in the world since the start of Christianity.
      Observance of the Torah Embraced by All Jews
      The Messiah will reign as King at a time when all the Jewish people will observe G-d’s commandments (Ezekiel 37:24; Deut. 30:8,10; Jeremiah 31:32; Ezekiel 11:19-20, 36:26-27).
      Jesus never ruled as King, nor have all Jews embraced the commandments of G-d’s Torah.
      Universal Knowledge of G-d
      The Messiah will rule at a time when all the people of the world will come to acknowledge and serve the one true G-d (Zechariah 3:9, 8:23,14:9,16; Isaiah 45:23, 66:23; Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 38:23; Psalm 86:9; Zeph. 3:9).
      This, as well, has not yet taken place and we await its fulfillment.
      A Biblical Portrait of the Messiah
      All of these criteria for the Messiah are found in numerous places in the Jewish Bible. One foundational example is in the book of Ezekiel, Chapter 37:24-28:
      “24 And My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd, and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes, and observe them
      25 and they shall live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers have lived; and they shall live there, they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever; and My servant David will be their prince for ever.
      26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant, which I will give them; and I will multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever
      27 and My tabernacle shall be with them, and I will be their God and they will be My people.
      28 And the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever.”
      Anyone can claim to be the Messiah or a group of people can claim that someone is the Messiah. However, if that person fails to fulfill all the criteria found in the Jewish Bible, he cannot be the Messiah.
      According to the Christian scriptures, Jesus seems to have understood this. As he was being crucified by the Romans, he cried out “My G-d, my G-d, why have You forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46).

    I wish rabbi Tovia can read this and get his feed back on it:
    There is new research emerging recently by some group claims that who was crucified is Judas Iscariot, who laid down his life for jesus and sacrificed himself on the cross to redeem him as escape goat. They come up with some proves to that : Jesus was disguising as a peasant standing next to his mother Mary without her recognizing him. Judas on the crossed looked at mary saying:" woman why do you weep behold your son"! In Mark it says that quote but attributed to Jesus. I always was puzzled as to why would Jesus be so rude to his mother while he's dying on the cross? But if it was Judas that says that to Mary it makes perfect sense!
    Second thing that puzzled me in the conventional story ; why would Jesus cries out on the cross saying " God, God, why thou forsaking me?" That doesn't make sense if he's the alleged son of the God and his whole mission is to suffer and die on the cross for human's sins then why is he crying and winging to his father for neglecting him? Doesn't make sense either!
    Moreover in those researches they say that Jesus' entire mission was to find a redeemer from among the people that willing to lay down his life for him. They say Jesus survived and escaped with his mother to Damascus and lived there till old age and died and buried in where people know now as John the Baptist tomb!

    This is easier to explain in another language that has grammatical gender with a single word translation. Most English speakers viewing this video would be familiar with the most basic of Spanish (especially in the USA).
    Señor = man👨🏻 איש
    Señora = woman 👩🏾 אישה
    Señorito = young man🧑🏽‍🦱 עלם
    Señorita = young woman 👱🏻‍♀️עלמה
    Niño = young boy 👦🏼 ילד
    Niña = young girl 👧🏻 ילדה
    Nene = male baby 👶🏼 תִּינוֹק
    Nena = female baby 👶🏻 תִּינוֹקֶת

      No, a young woman/Almah can be a virgin or even a pregnant woman like the Prophetess in Isaiah 7, it describes her age, Bethula on the other hand is the Hebrew word for Virgin, which has not a thing to with her age.

    • @richardmukasa8828

      @@paulawallace8784
      There is plenty of evidence to prove the Hebrew word behind “virgin” (עַלְמָה alma) in Isaiah 7 simply means “young woman.”
      Is Isaiah really speaking of a virgin conception? It is often argued that if Isaiah meant “virgin,” he would have used the Hebrew word betula (בְּתוּלָ֕ה). The word betula occurs 50x in the Old Testament. Sometimes it does clearly refer to a virgin, for example:
      If a man seduces a [betula] who is not betrothed and lies with her, he shall give the bride-price for her and make her his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the bride-price for [betulot, plural] (Exodus 22:16).
      In this and similar examples, betula clearly refers to a virgin, but the context tells us this as much as the word itself, and “virgin” is not necessarily the essential meaning of the word. In fact, it seems not to be, since in a few cases the virgin-status of the betula is further spelled-out, for example:
      And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead 400 young [betulot, plural] who had not known a man by lying with him, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan (Judges 21:12).
      If betula by itself means “virgin” the clause “who had not known a man by lying with him” here seems redundant. But a more telling and illuminating case occurs in Genesis 24, because both betula and alma are used, and so more direct comparison is possible. Abraham’s servant has gone to find a wife for Isaac, and while sitting at a well he sees Rebekah.
      Genesis 24:16 says,
      The young woman was very attractive in appearance, a [betula] whom no man had known. She went down to the spring and filled her jar and came up.
      Here again, the word betula by itself does not seem to be enough to indicate virginity, since the narrator specifies that no man had known her. But further down in the chapter, in vv. 42-43, when the servant is recounting the story to Rebekah’s family, he says,
      I came today to the spring and said, ‘Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, if now you are prospering the way that I go, behold, I am standing by the spring of water. Let the [alma] who comes out to draw water, to whom I shall say, “Please give me a little water from your jar to drink…”
      Here alma seems to assume the virgin condition that betula does not. It is a summary term for Rebekah’s status.
      Alma is a less common word, occurring only 9x in the Old Testament, and granted, in a few of those cases the context gives no clue one way or the other whether a virgin is in view (e.g., “The singers in front, the musicians last, between them [almot, plural] playing tambourines” - Psalm 68:25). But when the context does offer a hint, as in Genesis 24:43, alma does clearly refer to a “virgin.” Another example is Song of Solomon 6:8, “There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, and [almot plural] without number.” Here virgins (almot) are distinguished from queens and concubines. One scholar, Alec Motyer, sums up this linguistic evidence this way:
      There is no ground for the common assertion that had Isaiah intended virgo intacta he would have used betula. Alma lies closer to this meaning than the other word. In fact, this is its meaning in every explicit context. Isaiah thus used the word which, among those available to him, came nearest to expressing ‘virgin birth’ and which, without linguistic impropriety, opens the door to such a meaning.
      Added to this is the fact that the Greek Old Testament (which Matthew quotes in his gospel) translates alma with the Greek word parthenos (παρθένος), which does mean “virgin.” So the pre-New Testament translators of the Old Testament understood alma to mean virgin, at least in this instance, and they certainly had no theological agenda regarding Jesus. R.T. France, a bit more reticent than Motyer and saying that alma “does not explicitly mean ‘virgin,’” still acknowledges that the context in Isaiah “suggests something other than a normal childbirth within marriage,” and he assumes that it was on that basis that the Greek translators of the Old Testament rendered the word as parthenos-“virgin.”
      The truth then appears to be that betula and alma are both words that can translate as virgin if the context points in that direction, even if virgin is neither word’s technical meaning. It should be remembered as well that in Ancient Near East culture any girl who was unmarried would be expected and assumed to be a virgin.
      So we may conclude that Isaiah’s language is not as unambiguous as we might like, but that “virgin” is a perfectly fair and even probable translation.
      In addition, it ought to be said that however open to interpretation Isaiah’s original statement may be, Matthew’s account of Jesus’ birth is certainly clear enough. Believers will of course accept Matthew’s interpretation of Isaiah as inspired by the Spirit and therefore valid, but in any case the historical fact of the virgin birth does not ultimately depend on the precise meaning of alma.
      Luke, who is especially acting as a reporter of history, also recounts the virgin conception, and never cites Isaiah’s prophecy. So testimony to the virgin birth can stand quite apart from Matthew’s interpretation of Isaiah, flawed or not.
      But now we need to address another issue: If Isaiah indeed foresaw and spoke concerning the birth of Jesus to the virgin Mary, how could this serve as a sign for Ahaz who died centuries before it would come to pass?

    • @richardmukasa8828
      @richardmukasa8828 2 роки тому

      The Lord Himself Will Give You a Sign
      A second reason why skeptics will deny the virgin birth as the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy is that it does not seem to work as a “sign” for Ahaz. King Ahaz would be dead long before Jesus was born.
      But hold up. First, the Lord offers a sign to Ahaz that he would defend Jerusalem, but Ahaz rebelliously refused it. In reply, the prophet addresses not Ahaz personally but the house of David: “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also? Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign . . .” (Isaiah 7:13-14).
      In Hebrew, the you’s in this passage are plural. So the proper recipients of the sign are a broader category than Ahaz personally. The promise is made to the entire royal house as such.
      Second, according to Isaiah 7:15-16, by the time the child spoken of in the sign grows up, the threat that Ahaz faces will be in some sense over with. “For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be deserted” (v. 16).[1]
      It is the case that when Jesus was born, Assyria was long gone as an empire, the northern kingdom of Israel was gone, and the kingdom of Syria as well was simply a Roman province.
      The fulfillment might therefore have been further off in the future than Ahaz or even Isaiah realized, but the explicit terms of the promise were still met in Jesus’ birth.
      Third, if the sign does in fact refer to a normal (non-virgin) birth which Ahaz would see, the question arises: What is the sign quality in that? A young woman will have a baby. So? Children are born all the time.
      On the other hand, if Isaiah did speak of a virgin birth, but it was one that was to take place during Ahaz’s lifetime (as some actually suppose), why was the fulfillment of the sign never recorded? God had offered a sign as “deep as Sheol or high as heaven” (v. 11), but when it came to pass it was apparently so undramatic that it wasn’t worth mentioning? That seems unlikely.
      The reality is that as we read on in Isaiah, we hear more in the very near context about a child being born, a son being given, who would bear the government on his shoulder and be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (9:6), and this was to be a royal son of the house of David, whose rule would have no end (9:7).
      In chapter 11 we again hear about a “shoot from the stump of Jesse.” The Lord promised a sign to the house of David, a virgin bearing a son, who would represent the presence of God with his people-God with us.[2] Isaiah 7:14 does not stand in isolation, but must be read in light of Isaiah’s broader outlook. The whole scenario and context points to something quite special which may indeed lay beyond the horizon of Ahaz.
      Ahaz and his house would have no royal power when this sign came to fulfillment. Because of Ahaz’s capitulation to Assyria, Judah would become a puppet-state and hardly ever again be a fully independent power, but would be subject to foreign empires in one way or another even until the time of Christ.
      As Motyer puts it, “Because of [Ahaz’s] unbelief the promised Messiah would be born into poverty, heir to a meaningless throne in a conquered land.” In this regard, the sign of the virgin birth functions partly as a word of judgment:
      Immanuel would have no human father, and thus Ahaz and his successors would not father the royal Savior in a physical sense. The virgin birth implies a broader judgment than this though: It is a judgment on human nature.
      Not human nature as such or as created, but simply on human nature as corrupt in Adam. The rebuke on Ahaz is thus ultimately turned into a blessing, as the child born of the virgin would mean the birth of a new Adam, ultimately saving not only Israel but offering a fresh start to the whole of humanity.

    Gezera Shava Methode apply on alma case ( Isaiah 7:14)
    Example from
    Genesis 37:15 we read
    Then a man found him, and behold, he was straying in the field, and the man asked him, saying, "What are you looking for?"
    טווַיִּמְצָאֵ֣הוּ אִ֔ישׁ וְהִנֵּ֥ה תֹעֶ֖ה בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה וַיִּשְׁאָלֵ֧הוּ הָאִ֛ישׁ לֵאמֹ֖ר מַה־תְּבַקֵּֽשׁ
    Rashi states here as interpretation
    Then a man found him: This is [the angel] Gabriel, as it is said: “And the man Gabriel” (Dan. 9:21). [From Tanchuma Vayeshev 2]
    If we using Gezera Shava Methode to determine WHO is the Alma is very easy ? THE WORD ALMA appear in EXODUS 2: AND WE CAN EASY TO KNOW WHO IS THE ALMA NAME: MIRYAM; she will give bear a son and call his name Immanuel
    If you ask Why using Exodus 2 as the Connection With Isaiah 7:14 : my answer is simple because Moses is the typical of the Messiah
    ( as the first Redemer was so The Last Redemer is)

In chapter 11 we again hear about a “shoot from the stump of Jesse.”
    The Lord promised a sign to the house of David, a virgin bearing a son, who would represent the presence of God with his people-God with us.[2] Isaiah 7:14 does not stand in isolation, but must be read in light of Isaiah’s broader outlook.
    As Motyer puts it, “Because of [Ahaz’s] unbelief the promised Messiah would be born into poverty, heir to a meaningless throne in a conquered land.” In this regard, the sign of the virgin birth functions partly as a word of judgment: Immanuel would have no human father, and thus Ahaz and his successors would not father the royal Savior in a physical sense.

      I don't understand how those words ("Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also?") are supposed to make sense if they're directed at anyone other than Ahaz. It wasn't the future kings of Israel who were trying God's patience in that moment, it was Ahaz.

      Regarding your second point, I’m curious if you have a theory as to why Isaiah chooses a specific point in the child’s life as the temporal marker, rather than saying something like “before the child is born, the land of the two kings… etc.” If the event Isaiah describes was supposed to take place during the early lifetime of the child, then it makes some sense why Isaiah would choose a specific point in the child’s life as the reference point (the point at which the child comes to know right from wrong). But if the event Isaiah describes was supposed to take place centuries before the child was even born, it make very little sense why Isaiah would say “before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good”. This seems to strongly imply that the life of the child would be contemporary with destruction of the northern armies.
      Regarding your third point, you ask a good question. It’s not clear to me how a child born of regular birth could qualify as a sign, though I also don’t see how a child born of a virgin could be a sign either since the mother’s virginity isn’t verifiable. It seems to me that Isaiah believed that a child could be a sign without being born of a virgin, since he says in Isaiah 8, “Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are *_signs_* and portents in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion. (Isaiah‬ ‭8:18)
      Do you have an explanation as to how Isaiah’s children were sings? The answer will probably shed some light as to how the Immanuel child could be a sign.

    The Hebrew Bible and the Jewish sages describe the Messiah in more detail than many realize. From these writings we can know his genealogical background, place of birth, the timeframe of his arrival, and other identifying characteristics. These credentials enable us to identify the Messiah and to recognize imposters. Only a few can be listed below; there are many others. Early rabbis and sages recognized all of these passages as referring to the Messiah.
    Messiah would be from the tribe of Judah: Genesis 49:10 (Hebrew)
    Messiah would be a descendant of King David: 2 Samuel 7:12-16 (Hebrew)
    Messiah was to be born at Bethlehem:
    Micah 5:2 (Hebrew - Micah 5:1)
    Messiah would arrive before the destruction of the Second Temple: Daniel 9:24-27 (Hebrew)
    Messiah would present himself by riding on a donkey: Zechariah 9:9 (Hebrew)
    Messiah would be tortured to death: Psalm 22:1-31 (Hebrew)
    Messiah’s life would match a particular description, including suffering, silence at his arrest and trial, death and burial in a rich man’s tomb, and resurrection: Isaiah 52:13-53:12 (Hebrew - Is. 52; Hebrew - Is. 53)
    In regard to lineage, birthplace, time, and lifestyle, Jesus matched the Messianic expectations of the Hebrew Scriptures.
    The record of this fulfillment is to be found in the pages of the New Testament. But several other factors combine to further substantiate the Messiahship of Jesus.
    If Jesus had never made the claim to be the Messiah, why would we bother to try and prove that he was?
    In the first place, he claimed to be the Messiah! When a woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming," he replied, "I who speak to you am he" (John 4:25-26). Naturally, that doesn't prove anything one way or the other. But if Jesus had never made the claim to be the Messiah, why would we bother to try and prove that he was? His own claim lays the groundwork for the rest of the evidence.
    If these "credentials" in the Hebrew Scriptures are so clear, why didn't most Jewish people believe in Jesus?
    To understand this, one must realize that by the time of Jesus, the messianic hope had become greatly politicized in the minds of the people. They were seeking deliverance from the tyranny of Rome. Although the Scripture spoke both of the sufferings and of the victories of the messiah, the victorious aspect had become uppermost in the minds of the common people because of Roman domination. This "lopsided" view of the Messiah has stuck with many Jewish people, and the politicization of the messianic hope has continued to this day.
    This is not to say that all Jewish people rejected the claims of Jesus. On the contrary, all the first followers of Jesus were Jews. In fact, the rabbis of that time and afterwards were well aware of the many messianic prophecies which Christians claimed were fulfilled in Jesus. So, for instance, although the Talmudic rabbis concurred that Isaiah 53 was a prediction of the Messiah, by medieval times the pressure from those who applied this prophecy to Jesus was so great that Rashi, one of the greatest medieval Biblical scholars, reinterpreted the chapter and said it referred to the nation of Israel. This interpretation is maintained today by many Jewish scholars, though it only dates back to the Middle Ages.
    What makes Jesus different from others who have claimed to be the Messiah?
    There have been false messiahs throughout Jewish history. Among the most prominent were Bar Kokhba who led a revolt against Rom (AD 132-135) and Shabbetai Zevi, a self proclaimed messiah of the seventeenth century.
    During Bar Kokhba's revolt, one of the most famous figures in Jewish history, Rabbi Akiva, proclaimed him to be "King Messiah." Unfortunately, Bar Kochba, Akiva and thousands of Jews were killed in AD 135. when the Romans stormed the stronghold of Betar.
    Shabbetai Zevi, on the other hand, was a self-proclaimed messiah. Flourishing in seventeenth-century Europe, the Shabbatean movement spread among both the common people and the rabbis. But when Shabbetai Zevi was arrested in 1666 by the Sultan of Turkey, he converted to Islam rather than face death. We have been tragically wrong before, so it is not surprising that hard evidence should be sought for believing in Jesus.
    Jesus' life stands in sharp contrast to those of the false messiahs.
    Jesus' life stands in sharp contrast to those of the false messiahs, and it is a positive demonstration of what we would expect the Messiah to do. Jesus worked many miracles of healing, bringing wholeness into people's lives, forgiving sin and restoring relationships. In contrast to Shabbetai Zevi, for instance, Jesus carried out the Law of Moses as a devout Jew. And in contrast to Bar Kokhba, although Jesus died he was also resurrected!
    Jesus rose from the dead.
    The resurrection is a piece of additional evidence, and it is perhaps the most convincing vindication of Jesus' claims. Israeli scholar, Pinchas Lapide, wrote a book that has attracted no small amount of attention in the Jewish community. In The Resurrection of Jesus: A Jewish Perspective, Lapide argued that the resurrection of Jesus is well within the realm of possibility. After all, he reasoned, the Hebrew Scriptures give a number of accounts of people coming back to life. Why not Jesus as well? Regrettably, Lapide fails to note that the resurrection of Jesus is described in terms that go far beyond the resuscitations of the other stories. He fails to come to grips with the fact that Jesus predicted his own resurrection, which vindicated his claims to Messiahship.
    Throughout history, people have explained away the resurrection as either non-historical ("It never happened") or as non-supernatural ("Here's how it could have happened"). But these explanations have not been successful. Run through the possibilities yourself and see which makes the most sense. Did the Roman authorities steal the body of Jesus from the tomb? Then why didn't they produce it when the word spread that Jesus was risen? Or maybe the disciples stole it. But could such a fabrication on their part account for the change in their attitude? Three days earlier, they were disillusioned, defeated idealists who had hoped that Jesus would usher in a new world order. Could a lie, which they knew to be a lie, now account for their hope, their boldness in the face of official persecution, and for the high ethical standards. Perhaps Jesus never died; perhaps he just fainted on the cross and revived in the tomb. This idea was popularized in the book The Passover Plot by Hugh J. Schonfield. Unfortunately, the author overlooked the fact that the Romans pierced Jesus’ side, which would have most certainly killed him. Also, there was a contingent of Roman soldiers guarding the tomb as well as a huge stone that blocked its entrance. There was no way that a resuscitated Jesus could have escaped and then convinced hundreds of skeptical eyewitnesses that he had conquered death forever! Or was it all a hallucination? It must have been quite a hallucination to be seen by vastly different kinds of people at different times of day in many different places. You might be able to fool one person, but can you fool 500 who saw him at one time? And, unlike hallucinations, these appearances of the resurrected Jesus stopped as suddenly as they started, 40 days after the resurrection had taken place.
    The only satisfactory explanation is that the resurrection actually occurred, just as the record says. And if that’s the case, it’s a solid reason for accepting the Messiahship of Jesus.
    Jesus transforms people's lives.
    Because he provides atonement for sin and reconciliation with God, Jesus brings peace, joy, and purpose into people's lives. Apart from faith in him, there is no basis for true peace or direction, for, as the psalmist says, "Man is estranged from the womb." That this estrangement is healed by the reconciling ministry of Jesus is the common experience of those who believe in him.
    Between the objective evidence of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, and the subjective verification in our own lives-we think there's ample evidence that Jesus was who he claimed to be!

    "This kind of interpretation of prophesy goes back at least to St. Augustine. It is not new."

    Don't interpret it. It means what it says. The problem is, it means different things to different people. Now be truthful & say it means what U say it means. Also, compare verse 9 in Daniel Chapter 7 with verses 12 through 16 in Revelation Chapter 1. Now as far as WHO that was/IS, read what is written in verse 17 & 18.

    We will using the Gezeira Shava Methode Using TORAH to determine who is the Alma?
    this Methode is introduce by Rabbi Hillel 🤗
    This Methode is Using on TALMUD
    Gezeira shava - is a verbal analogy. If the same word or phrase appears in two places in the Torah, we may infer on the basis of “verbal analogy” that the same law must apply in the other case, as well
    1. The Alma Will take care and Nurse THE GREAT HOUSE SON
    (Exodus 2:9)
    2. The Alma will Drew out The Son From the Water (Exodus 2:10)
    3. The Alma name is Miryam
    (Number 26:59)
    4. The Alma are the Naarah and Betulah ( Genesis 24:16,43)
    So It very Clear The Alma is Refering To Miryam the Mother of YESHUA. 🤗

      Your proof is no proof at all - quite the opposite. As well as Rebecca being an "alma" (young woman), the Bible specifically states that she was also a "betula" (a virgin) and that no man had intimate knowledge of her (Gen. 24:16). If the word "alma" meant virgin, the Bible would not have also gone to pains to point out that she was a virgin. Not every young woman is a betula and not every betula is a young woman. Rebecca was both. The woman referred to in Isaiah was not.
      Don't you find it curious that every other time (and there are dozens) that the Hebrew Bible uses the word "alma" the Christian translation is "young woman"?

The Moshiach of the Bible comes at the End of the Days, not before, his teachings of Gd and His Holy Torah will transform the World to a UTOPIA WHERE PEACE REIGNS AND WAR IS NO MORE, but as Jesus said, he did NOT come to bring PEACE BUT DIVISION to set family one against the other, the very reason why Gd sends Elijah, to come and UNDO ALL THE DIVISION FOSTERED BY FALSE TEACHERS, lest HE smite the Earth with utter destruction. As this Hedonistic, Pagan Filled World of DIVISION, CHAOS, MAYHEM AND ANOTHER BLOODY WAR going on, it all TESTIFIES that Neither ELIJAH Nor MOSHIACH have yet come, so far only fakes have shown up.

    2000 years ago, on Nissan 14, around 3 PM, Son of God Almighty, Yeshua died on cross of Calvary for the sins of Israel and the Gentile world, as foretold by prophet Yeshayahu. His innocent blood washes us from all our sins!
    See what Lord foretold through prophet Yeshayahu long before!
    Yeshayahu - Isaiah - Chapter 53 (This Hebrew Bible was edited by esteemed translator and scholar, Rabbi A.J. Rosenberg.)
    1 Who would have believed our report, and to whom was the arm of the Lord revealed?
    2 And he (Arm of Lord) came up like a sapling before it, and like a root from dry ground, he had neither form nor comeliness; and we saw him that he had no appearance. Now shall we desire him (Arm of Lord)?
    4 Indeed, he (Arm of Lord) bore our illnesses, and our pains-he carried them, yet we accounted him (Arm of Lord) as plagued, smitten by God and oppressed. 3 Despised and rejected by men, a man of pains and accustomed to illness, and as one who hides his face from us, despised and we held him (Arm of Lord) of no account.
    5 But he (Arm of Lord) was pained because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our welfare was upon him (Arm of Lord), and with his (Arm of Lord's) wound we were healed.
    6 We (Jewish nation, Israel) all went astray like sheep, we (Jewish nation) have turned, each one on his way, and the Lord accepted his (Arm of Lord's) prayers for the iniquity of all of us.
    7 He (Arm of Lord) was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he would not open his mouth; like a lamb to the slaughter he (Arm of Lord) would be brought, and like a ewe that is mute before her shearers, and he (Arm of Lord) would not open his mouth.
    8 For he (Arm of Lord) was cut off from the land of the living; because of the transgression of my people (Lord's people and Yeshayahu's people, that is Israel), a plague befell them (Israel). ( What was that plague befell on Israel and Jews? Is it the endless sufferings for last 2000 years, till today?)
    9 And he (Arm of Lord) gave his grave to the wicked, and to the wealthy with his kinds of death, because he (Arm of Lord) committed no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth.
    10 And the Lord wished to crush him (Arm of Lord), He made him (Arm of Lord) ill; if his soul makes itself restitution, he (Arm of Lord) shall see children, he (Arm of Lord) shall prolong his days, and God's purpose shall prosper in his hand.
    11 From the toil of his (Arm of Lord's) soul he would see, he would be satisfied; with his knowledge My servant would vindicate the just for many, and their iniquities he (Arm of Lord) would bear.
    12 Therefore, I will allot him (Arm of Lord) a portion in public, and with the strong he (Arm of Lord) shall share plunder, because he (Arm of Lord) poured out his soul to death, and with transgressors he (Arm of Lord) was counted; and he (Arm of Lord) bore the sin of many (both Jews and Gentiles), and interceded for the transgressors.

    “When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them. But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law who was respected by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered the men to be taken outside for a little while. He said to them, “Men of Israel, be careful about what you’re about to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and a group of about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, and all his followers were dispersed and came to nothing. After this man, Judas the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and attracted a following. He also perished, and all his followers were scattered. So in the present case, I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among to clans of Judah, from you “One”
    will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity. Micah 5:2
    Who was from the days of eternity with God? Who is the “One”? The messiah of Israel!
    God is to us a God of deliverances; and to YHVH the Lord belong escapes from death. Psalms 68:20
    Same as you Israel!
    After two days he will restore Israel; on the tired day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence (forever) Hosea 6:2
    It should be understood in historical context but also all the words of God have deep spiritual meaning for you Israel in the past and today and in the future.
    I spoke to the prophets, gave them many visions and told parables through them. Hosea 12:10 let them be for “signs” and for divine appointed times Genesis 1:14
    God’s appointed times (moedim) are not just an amazing history but signs for the Messiah of Israel.
    You will arise and have compassion on Zion; for it is time to be gracious to Israel, for the appointed time has come! Psalms 102:13,18
    The Messiah your Passover Lamb has been sacrificed at the Passover. So tired day after Passover is the firstfruits. As God commanded you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the YHVH for you to be accepted. Leviticus 23:10,11
    Your Messiah has been raised from the dead as the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, By a man also came the resurrection of the dead. Because it must first die to bear much fruit.
    The Messiah of Israel had to suffer for your iniquities and transgressions just like the first broken covenant of Israel. But the Messiah de David will return as a new covenant with heavenly authority and fullness of Torah.

      @@hrvatskinoahid1048 most Jews react like you. Israel has duty and are called to preach the truth to all nations but they have lack of compassion.
      Because His salvation is among all nations. Let the nations be glad and sing for joy! Psalms 67
      He will bring justice to the nations. I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations. Isaiah 421,6,7 and many more scriptures say that all mankind will come to bow down before Me, says YHVH Isaiah 66 So He is not only your God. He is much bigger then your God. The Moshiach of the Bible is a mortal man, a direct son/seed/shoot of King David, through his son Solomon, son after son, from the Tribe of Judah, of the House of David, who Isaiah tells comes at the End of Days and brings All of Mankind to the Rightful Worship of the Creator and Him Alone, the Restoration and Redemption of Israel/the Jews and World Peace where the Wolves abide with the Lambs, where the Implements of War are turned into Implements of Agriculture, but all your Jesus brought to Mankind is More PAGAN IDOLATRY of himself, a trio of Man Made deities, his mother, other dead people, Statues of Wood and Stone, Angels, a dirty painted sheet, crackers and wooden sticks. To Israel/the Jews Jesus brought only 1700+ years of PERSECUTION, OPPRESSION AND DEATH as History testifies that Christianity became the Jews longest enduring and most DEADLIEST OF ALL THEIR OPPRESSORS, to a T it alone fits the description of the morphing Last Beast and as Jesus said, he did NOT COME TO BRING PEACE BUT DIVISION, to set family one against the other, the very reason why Gd send Elijah, to come and UNDO ALL THE DIVISION FOSTERED BY FALSE TEACHERS, lest HE smite the Earth with Utter Destruction. As this Hedonistic, Pagan Filled World of DIVISION, CHAOS AND MAYHEM TESTIFY that Neither Elijah Nor Moshiach have yet come, so far only Fakes have shown up. Your Jesus was the Ultimate Antimoshiach and his cult of Christianity is the Last Beast.
