This song that I first heard back in 1990 or 91 from the ABWH CD that was given to me by a coworker back then HAS TOUCHED MY HEART AND SOUL EVER SINCE THEN and IT STILL BURNS BRIGHTLY TO THIS DAY AND BEYOND !!!!!!!
The band has the most positive name in the business delivering the most positive messages of life love and spirit. I could not imagine my life without there influence. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
😻 yes, lo mejor. Rick Wakeman un genio, cualquier melodía él la adorna, la hace subir al cielo, por ejemplo "morning has broken de Cat Stevens" imaginen esa canción sin el piano.
Absolutely beautiful! Wakeman deviates from the keyboard part on the album just a little bit. I like what he played on the album better but that's just me. It's still a beautiful song. I was 15 yrs old when this came out & it made an impact on me then with its elegance & tranquilizing sound. Hearing it 25 yrs later takes me right back to 1988-89, particularly the summer of '89 & the things that were happening in my life at the time. Thank you ABWH!!
Hauntingly beautiful ! Jon Anderson has one of the most purely sublime voices in music, so unique. At times he can give you goose bumps especially live, and Rick Wakeman has always been one of my very favorite keyboardist. Classically trained virtuoso, many people might not know he was a studio/session musician back in the late 60's and early 70's playing piano or keyboards on such songs as Cat Stevens - Morning Has Broken, David Bowies - Life On Mars and Elton John's - Madman Across The Water just to name a few. PLEASE PUT "YES" IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. You finally did right by Rush now do right by Yes !!
Surely I could tell When I sleep tonight A dream will call And raise it's head in majesty Dividing all my energy To the meeting of your love Where from whence it came Like a singer searching for a song I try to reach where you belong As I will be the song for you I will be your servant child No, oh no I cannot be deceived No, oh no There's something That I feel There's something that I feel inside Surely I could tell If you ask me Lord To board the train My life my love would be the same As I will be the one for you In the meeting of your love In the meeting of your love 🤍🕊

Surely I could tell
When I sleep tonight
A dream will call
And raise it's head in majesty
Dividing all my energy
To the meeting of your love
Where from whence it came
Like a singer searching for a song
I try to reach where you belong
As I will be the song for you
I will be your servant child
No, oh no
I cannot be deceived
No, oh no
There's something
That I feel
There's something that I feel inside
Surely I could tell
If you ask me Lord
To board the train
My life my love would be the same
As I will be the one for you
In the meeting of your love
In the meeting of your love 🤍🕊

Jon Anderson the voice of Yes. Without Anderson Yes is No.
I want to learn how to play the piano just so I can play this song!!
Based on Rick Wakeman's instrumental, "Nina". Thanks for uploading.
For some reason, this is not on their live album, although it was a regular part of the setlist...
I like this song, and I'm not a big Yes fan. Tells you the song is good.
