I really loved it! Very dialogue-heavy which I'm completely here for because it's a very critical part of mdzs. I really like how you took the time to explain things to the characters it felt more real when you did that. Also, you're completely right about not weighing WWX and JC's sacrifices against each other. I always felt fandom looked at it the wrong way. If anything should be weighed it's how they acted after said sacrifice. I've only read the novel so while I have heard that WWX and JC share a closer relationship in CQL but I haven't seen it so I can only base my opinions off of what I know (and what is also the most canon which is the og novel). In the end, I thought their final separation was good for them JC needed to learn to let go of the past and move on and WWX gets to live his best life and can finally be truly happy as he deserves. I know some (a lot of) people wanted them to be friends/brothers again but I don't think WWX will ever be able to fully forgive him for his part in the Wen's end. Plus we have all the WWX and JC reconciliation fics we could ever need. Sorry for the essay I just really wanted to talk about them 😅🙏.
I think my biggest issue with how JWY responded to giving up his core is how upset he was at having to live with the consequences of doing so. He expected to die when he distracted the guards, not even necessarily to lose his core beforehand or at all. He was mad when WWX saved him because he had to live without a golden core, complaining about his future after the effects of his decision became apparent. He was fine if he would die after his sacrifice, but he wasn't willing to live with it. I'm not going to weigh the difference between willing to give your life vs willing give your future, though. WWX might not have expected to live for long during wartime after giving up his golden core on purpose, but he did accept the consequences of his decision and how it would affect him. But they both expected to die relatively quickly afterwards, regardless of they wanted to live or not.

Ive never been clear on what actual canon is when it comes to ajin Zixuans Death(whether jt was purely an accident or if 'someone' intervened and made Wen Ning kill him cause ive hesrd it both ways) but whichever way it actually was could yoy clarify?;cause learning that Wei wixian was invited to the part, was ambushed and blamed for something he didnt do, and just lost control(after his gift was destroyed) puts a whole new light that event..... and im oretty sur JZX new it wasnt intentional on WWX's part Anyway so I'm excited for part 3!! (Whether you add that clarification or not😂) thanks for a great video!
I'm actually planning to rewatch and reread those parts just to be as accurate. But since in visual reactions and if it's novel and different to the others, it'll be kind of hard to let them react to it since it's rare that someone made edits abt actual scenes and lines in the novel, so it's going to mostly be on the donghua and live action, though I think I forgot if both version said the same thing about his death. I don't specifically recall where it came from if it's from the audio drama but this is the extraction scene of the golden core to transfer it to Jiang Cheng. As far as I remember , that this audio or scene where the actual extraction is heard isn't present in the donghua and live action.
I've checked on my other account if it's hidden but It wasn't. There was also no restriction on younger accounts as far as I remember. There might be a problem with youtube.
I made some very animalistic noises when I saw the notification FIVE HOURS _AFTER THIS WAS POSTED-_ Anyways. Uh. Lan Wangji’s ear was red this entire video. I was going to comment this on the 1st part but. I forgot. And his ear is still red in this part so. Mentioning it now 😅
@@flair1681gacha aint cooperating with me well mwhhahah, I tried to take it off but it keeps going back and glitching 🤺🤺 still considering to uninstall then re-installing to fix bugs ( I used pc ver also) It also happens in like poses and stuff and if you see the vid that the position changes because it kept glitching and not saving the poses but Thank you for pointing out I'm still trying to resolve it
@@AleaSolei rip. hate the weird gacha glitches: i had one where the colour would slowly change (i found out from the colour hex codes) every time i chose it from the custom colours. I only use gacha for the occasional oc/character design obsession so this isn’t a _problem_ problem but still annoying
