    You know, almost every food you eat in Malaysia you should mix it up 1st..like ice kacang, you should mix the ice kacang and it gonna melt slowly..if you're not mix it nicely maybe you've some part of the condensed milk, some part of the sugar syrup..if you mix properly you'll get the good taste of ice kacang..and 1 more thing, you know here in Malaysia almost every dessert is sweet and sweet>, so you have to tell them to make less sugar or less sweet..even i as a local everytime i order any drinks i will tell them to make less sweet..but lot of local people love to have their dessert or drinks sweet.. enjoy your Penang trip..

    Love that you visit less tourist-y places, don't need to queue so long for food😝. Ice kacang is too sweet for me, prefer cendol❤️

  • @Ruriko.Y
    @Ruriko.Y Рік тому +36

    tourists' common mistake with cendol: scared that it'll melt.
    cendol is a drink, let it melt but don't sit it out for too long. for ais kacang/ABC, the key is to mix so you get a little bit of everything. that's why it's called air batu campur.
    (campur here has the same meaning as the Okinawan word champuru)

    Hi Ichang and Jimmy. U guys have done a great job at promoting Malaysian delicacies and cultures, even more than we Malaysian can do. Maybe you should do a video about how we can support you financially because im sure most of us here would love to support u guys throughout your journey. Im not too familiar on how you can make money with UA-cam, but i heard if viewers didnt press the "skip ad" button you'll get paid for every ad viewed. If im right please remind us every time to not press the "skip ad" button everytime you upload a new video. Even better if you can make a video to educate us on how we all can support you guys 🙏😀

    Don't worry, the ice kacang uses evaporated milk not condensed so its not too sweet. The red syrup is the rose syrup which can make it very sweet.

    Not lychee ...but attap chee. Fruit or immature seed from the nipa palm plant. The fried chicken wing is "Har Cheong Kai" Cantonese for prawn paste chicken (虾酱鸡). Very common in Chinese Restaurants. You should try other "Har Cheong Kai" from different Chinese restaurants all made differently but taste very good.🤤🤤🤤
