- Lillian, Rob, and I go bunker chunking in the Chesapeake Bay near Kiptopeake State Park in an attempt to land my first Cobia. Many sharks and sting rays come before we get success!
Awesome job Captain!
@@jayearl8252 thanks Jay!
As you are launching we were just returning. I believe that was Monday after fathers day
Are you able to see your boat in the video? This video was made right on fathers day, Sunday June 16.
@timhelman99 I'm pretty im the walkaround on the opposite dock. We were back in early each morning with our 2 fish. We would clean them grab some food then relaunch and chase reds the rest of the day. We do a guys trip with 3 boats every year. I love it down there. Fantastic fishery
@@kylemcmaster7097 that's awesome. Yeah, I'm hoping to make it an annual thing as well. Been looking for something to fill the void since the offshore tuna fishing has been so bad for over 2 years now.
@timhelman99 this is my 1st year with a trailerable boat. I downsized so I could travel to better fishing grounds easier
Nice fishing trip guys. Thx
Glad you enjoyed it
First time viewer to your site..seems cool! A father / daughter fishing team..this is so neat..you have set that girl for life! An enthusiastic fisherman for life. I see you advertise WV girl dad..wher😮 are you from in the state of WVA. I bought my first boat in WVA. from a fellow in Weirton in 79'.It was a 17' BW..no kidding!..I fished the Concrete Ships backing the mid 80's with dad! Beautiful area
Thanks so much! Yeah, the daddy/daughter connection is definitely special. We are from Martinsburg, WV, which is closer to Washington DC than to Weirton.
i used to fish there in the winter for the big bass on live eels
Loosen that drag a bit and take your time
Turn clicker off
Yeah, we should have done that
@@HabeasPorpoise1I never turn my clickers off. It's how I know exactly what's happening regardless of who is on the rod/reel
@@kylemcmaster7097 that's a good point!
