Sorry to hear. Wow looks like you have done some serious upgrades in the front end. Glad you got back home OK. I'm watching this in Moab we hit Fins n Things today and it was killer. We saw 2 others on the trail. Gotta Love the off season.
So the gear broke, but was a root cause identified? There's alot of discussions about the 5:13: being too (small) meaning less tooth contact than a 4:88 specifically for 37's and potentially being a weak point, but having said that there are alot of 5:13's in use without problems. That said, the problem is not much in the way of significant data to support either way and or of the ones that claim their gearing is fine then are they running MOAB type trails frequently and are they doing alot of "bumping" over rocks, etc.... How many miles on your gear set? What size tires? Thanks for sharing.
It’s great that the owner of the shop was willing to open up his shop and help out. But if you’d been a good thief you would’ve went by a Jeep dealership and removed the front ring and pinion off a new Renegade and had a new one ready to go back in when the shop opened. Lol but we don’t condone this act
There was no video. It was more of a save up buy RCV shafts, save up buy Reid kuncles....etc. nothing that would have been exciting as a stand alone video.
So now that we now know you have Reid knuckles, X brand ball joints, RCV axles 5.13 regear and hydro assist steering. How did you grenade the front R & P? @@CodeBrownProductions

I love Fins and Things. But yeah made it back safe and Paycheck is all fixed up!

Thats a bummer, but upgrade opportunities abound.
Not sure what else I could do to make it stronger short of going to Dana 60s. I'm nurse poor not UA-cam rich lol.

I am as innocent as new fallen snow and would do no such act lol. But it was very nice of him and I really did appreciate it!
I'm going to get my JLUR regeared for larger tires.
what Brand of Gear did you go with?
Dana Spicer 5.13
@@CodeBrownProductions Thanks.
