I could never race with the Wii remote either. Wii was the only Mario Kart that released in my lifetime that I never really played and beat. Double Dash was another, but I just couldn't beat it. Always felt like the dark souls of mario kart for me when in the higher modes.
I think the Wii mote works fine, as long as you can sense how much you're turning. There are a lot of good Wii mote players on Mario Kart Wii such as Charmender.
@@jdapaul1351 it works fine with casual play and even very rarely in competitive but in top competitive play there are a LOT of important things that you can't do effectively or at all without a joystick like nosediving/taildiving & delay drifting plus its also a lot harder to get a precise drift angle you'd be aiming for on any given turn. charmender is the absolute goat for putting up with all that
Are you on Dolphin? If you are and your computer has bluetooth you can connect a wii remote to it. It's a little roundabout to set up but once it's connected it works well.
Wiimote + Nunchuck is best combo.
wii remote does not really affect your gameplay. its just slightly harder to use
this graphics pack or whatever is so weird cause its all familar but also not
That green shell in the second race was insane ha ha ha
Brutal game ha ha

Any other racing games you have in mind for the channel? Keep up the good work man
I'd rather use wiimote than gamecube... my first few years of mkwii was wiimote

@@joeshmo7858 I agree. Controller is better, but it does not mean the Wii mote is not viable.

Yes dolphin!
@@TitoBobbyFlash yeah, search how to add wii remote to pc via Bluetooth. Candles will work for the sensor bar. You can find that on UA-cam
Did dolphin update this or did you use a mod?
@@Dmvkeb that is absolutely a mod
