- As Liz Truss's publicity tour for her new book continues, James O'Brien reacts to the former Prime Minister's latest assertion in an interview with the Telegraph that the 'power exercised in Britain by unelected people is a scandal.'
James wonders how the ex-PM can say such a thing when she 'was unelected on a national level and nodded through by a hereditary monarch'.
Truss also spoke to LBC recently and made a number of bold statements, which included urging the Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey to resign, branding Net Zero as 'economic suicide', and claiming critics of her mini-budget are merely trying to 'smear' her.

Liz Truss really just needs to go away now. She is embarrassing herself, her family, and the nation.
Truss is a shameless grifter and quite probably a sociopath.
After what she did, its hard for me to believe she still shows her face in public. Never mind going around lecturing people about how to run the country, totally utterly shameless.

I've met Boris, Corbyn, Farage, Starmer, Blair and Thatcher fans. I have never, ever, not once have I even heard of a Liz Truss fan.

She's so confused by her own denial and obfuscation that nothing she says is worthy of public consumption.
Why hasn't Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng ever been investigated for insider trading??
