I sometimes have trouble connecting with newer melodic black metal bands but this is pretty great

Wait, is that a dig at Nergal saying you shouldn’t start a band right now? Cause if it is, he’s kind of right, there’s just too many bands and too much touring going on right now meaning it’s not economically feasible. It’s definitely worth it as a passion project though.

@@lwalker8785: I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said except for the part about competition. He could literally do what Dimmu did a stop making music for a decade and just live off playing his old stuff. If anything, he's probably saying that none of these new bands will ever get as big as him and he has a point, to a certain extent, but he made his statement in a very poor manner. Besides, few people, if any, are trying to get rich off of black metal.
Nergal sucks, competition exists in life, forests and the environment. Some die, others persist, others are born. Sometimes the environment collapses, it is part of life. Who does that bastard think he is to restrict what other people want to do.
@@Charles_Anthony Lol, he's a clown, known by mainstream because of his stupid performances and trying desperately to be known by doing stuff like dating popstar etc. Their music is garbage, especially compared to many great Polish bands we have (Mgła being the best and kinda antithesis for his stuff).
