CORRECTION: Sorry the Alpha Legion 'Pick them Off' strat isn't as good as I stated. Turns out I misread slightly and it's 'full re-rolls to hit if below starting strength' and 'full re-rolls to wound if below half strength'. Apologies for the mistake there, will correct it for themain codex review.
For this heresy you will be made into a servitor. REPENT HERETIC!
The full codex is out
Still, it´s a good stratagem for 1CP.
Okay, pretty sure this codex was written by the A-Team, same guys who wrote the Orks codex. Good rules, powerful and fluffy, and even a long awaited Vashtor rework. Can we have the other codexes re-written by that team now please?
I have the feeling that B team is doing the imperial Codexes
@@Onkel_Ranger Took the words out of my mouth, but I wasn't gonna say "B"
I don't know what you was reading but a lot of units got shafted
Yeah this isn’t fluffy or fun sounding
Hoping sisters of battle are written by A team
Fun fact: the Falsehood Enhancement is effectively the way you deployed Alpharius in the first edition of the Horus Heresy.
Is that in the video? I can't find any enhancements
No, he didn’t show them, I’ve them elsewhere and one lets you replace a model in a Legionaries or Chosen Squad with a character you kept in reserve.
@bradleygiven5193 oh that's sick. I thought I was going crazy for a minute there scrubbing back and forth in the video lol
Yes, it's great to see Chaos players getting some goodies, hope more people will want tonplay with this codex.
- Grey Knights player
Woe be upon thee
Id prefer to stick with the index. The codex is worse in many ways not least of which is what amounts to -25% damage across the board unless you play Word Bearers
I love the Point Blank Destruction strat. Very IW to be in melee and for that unit to go 'I'm sick of your &%#$. Eat heavy bolter.'
It makes throwing havocs into melee quite interesting. 4 chaincannon havocs with an extra round of shooting output will walk through weak chaff units with ease.
Or even Obliterators shooting their lascannon or flamer profiles as pistols in combat is no joke.
@@dpops 'Oh no, your nuisance charge unit made it into BTB with my havocs...anyway.'
I love how Relentless Pursuit can be a big “Nuh uh” strategem. You fell back two inches to get your charge buff? Nuh uh! You fell back your max distance to charge? Nuh uh, I’m outside 12 now. I love it.
Iron warriors detachment is my favorite. Not the best but the lazy me is happy to have a really powerful ability that i dont have to think much about
I second this I'm stupid and like iron warriors so perfect combo for me
Iron warriors are just so cool also
@@mattyorshin indeed they are

Pick them off is not as good as you've thought - the hit rerolls only trigger below starting str, the wound rerolls only below half str
Ah good catch there, will correct that for the main codex vid! Appreciate the feedback.
Its amazing how the alpha legion detachment has the better night lord rules
Yup, thats the detachment ill likely be playing my Night Lords in most of the time.
Possessed also got their special rule changed to ONCE per Battle. Maulerfiends lost their Charge and Advance re-rolls. Venom Crawlers now only gain additional attacks due to close combat kills....
Venomcrawlers also lost 1 strength.
@@SmurphofChaosVenom crawlers have always been S6
Between that and the MoP losing the 6+ fnp he could give them just throws that whole unit straight on the scrapheap 😢
@@stu_gibson The MoP also lost the Devastating Precision shooting attack in reality, as you're not going to waste that once per game option on that attack. It's not as if neither possessed or or the MoP dominated the competitive scene and with most detechements not having any access to 5+ crits their overall damage will go down as well, including for the MoP.
@@runeh3022 That really sucks. Just hoping that there are some spicy enhancements that can dial the unit back up a bit. I'm taking my Night Lords to a tournament this weekend and there 10x Possessed with an MoP in the list. They aren't even superb right now, I just love the models. 😅
That Warp Talons rule is frightening. It makes them very hard to wear down as they'll spend most of the game in reserves, diving in to pick off units.
Clearly gw never learned from what happened with nids in 9th
They die to overwatch and fight on death stratagems. They're also not a threat to anything stronger than 5 man marine units, which they fail to kill 1/5 times. Their best use is to clear trash screening/move blocking unit then deep strike to do a secondary because 9" charges are unreliable.
unless you are using a 10 men Talon squad. They can kill harder stuff and then fade away
I'm really frustrated about the cultists loosing even more weapon options. I only just noticed the old cultist kit that included those options had gone away from the website a few weeks ago, now I have tons of minis with no rules. I even have the old Dark Vengeance starter kit with the leader holding a shotgun that hasnt had rules in a while, and now this.
You could proxy them as Traitor Guard since they still have some of the weapon the cultist had. I agree though that ist absolutely infuriating. The shotgun one now works in Traitor Guard as well sinc the leader can take a shotgun there again.
@@JS-mu9qd Where does it say traitor guard leader can take a shotgun? Wahapedia says they can take a pistol or a boltgun.
@@MichealIkruhara Yeah you are right i seem to have been mistaken.
Gw adds a cultist detachment and takes the options of the battle line troops......
@@markd7354 yeah it makes no sense.
Dang, I just built an awesome exalted champion model so it's a disappointment to lose the datasheet, but I guess he's simply been promoted to chaos Lord.
Warp Talons getting an insanely powerful strat leaked just before the launch of the Dread Talon battleforce box? Hmmmmm. Maybe I am wearing my tinfoil hat too tight, but I suspect that was on purpose then will nuke the strat shortly after all the box sets are sold out.
Not even a theory, it's a fact, they always do the same thing
@@MrManueldxgive examples
Its not even a strat, its their own datasheet ability! If that doesn't get faq'd then prepare for 3 units of 5 (or 10!) Warp Talons in every competitive Chaos list.
@@rankozeremski7280 they leaked the leviathan box, they leaked the deathwing assault box BEFORE the devastating nerf, you only need pay attention to the leaks
Votann. Necrons w dev wound immortals. Orks w dread mob detach failing to mention teh genociding of grot fw options
Seems weird that the black legion detachment doesn't really help chaos terminators that much when you consider how they are the the favoured unit of that legion. Termies already get reroll hits, so the whole oath of moment thing seems a bit pointless for them. Chosen will like it though
it just means Abaddon and his terminators can shot / fight elsewhere taking out 2 big targets
Veterans of the Long War gives terminators access to fights first
we havent seen the terminator datasheet yet, they might have been nerfed. i see no buffs on datasheets so far apart from vashtor who few care about. this codex is much worse than the index
It’s because they don’t know how to write rules.
WOW. Iron Warriors have better Death Guard rules than Death Guard
MoP is a perfect example of GW bait and switch it seems. Finally made it a good unit, sold a ton of them once they repackaged it and now chop off it's best ability. Well played as always.
Nice seeing Alpha legion looking decent, detonator looks like tons of fun, Hydra Dominatus! Fellhammer also looks fun and thematic, sad about the Obliterators being capped to 2 thou.
I am Alpharius.
As a red corsair detachment was added, I'm not surprised that Huron survived. I would expect a plastic kit
Iron Warriors detachment looks like how the Imperial Fists one should've been themed.
That Chaos Cultist nerf is diabolical. Theyre literally useless now
You can still place one unit in your deployment zone. Let them do their thing and then thats it. I really dont like this change.
This has to be the stupidest change they’ve done in 10th so far. Just re release the damn cultists from dark vengeance with auto guns…
Still sticky objectives though aren't they?
@@Strider181 think so. But the Autoguns and Special Weapons being scrapped is just criminal
Yeah they should cost at most 40 points
Exalted champion needed to stay. Chaos needed a secondary character like a lieutenant.
We have plenty of lieutenants. It can be a sorcerer or a master of execution.
@maxchapuis6256 you literally named the only 2 we have. The exalted champ and dark Apostle combo isn't the same without +1 to hit. And his model looks sick
I’m so happy my alpha legion got their own detachment.
Why remove exa champ :(
I hope with emperor children index we get some Fabius Bile unique army rules.
Man, I hope whoever wrote these rules writes the thousand sons codex because I love multiples of the new detachments and wish I could start a new army
I reckon TS will end up getting maybe 4 Detachments, max.
It could be very easy making their special traits pretty repetitive, so I don't think we'll get loads of them.
Not necessarily a bad thing, as long as all of them are viable, the TS should remain a fun army to play.
@@horuslupercal2385I bet it’s 3, and one of them is “oops all tzangor” meme detachment
@@timunderbakke8756 honestly, I could live with this IF they made Tzaangors at least part-way viable.
A great Tzaangors scenario would be if they got an ability for +1 Strength and/or AP on the charge, would make them a better melee option than Rubrics (although I think my dream scenario of Tzaangors being buffed up to the ability of hitting in melee as hard as Ork Boyz may be a little far-fetched 🤣)
@@timunderbakke8756 This would be even more hilarious if GW doubles down and "releases" the Ogroid Thaumaturge as their only new model for 10th edition... 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah well, several units were nerfed, so isn't the best codex on the market
Either GW remembered Huron exists and he’s getting a new model or they’ve forgotten him to the point they forgot to remove his datasheet
Why did they nerf Venomcrawlers and especially Obliterators so hard? Its not like CSM were top-tier or anything.
Because they're only sold on a common sprue and you have to buy them together, so likely something that hasn't sold well that they forsee the ability to kill off and save the effort.
They were at the time the book was written and went to printers
@@TheRealRKD No, they weren't? They were winning roughly 45% of games according to tournament results. That's very low compared to other armies' win rates.
@@damianwomack4668 When do you reckon the book went to printers? I've consistently heard it takes 6 months before publication, which put the timing at November last year. In November last year CSM were one of the two best armies in the game in Eldar with a 55%+ win rate.
1) Venomcrawlers no longer get attack buffs from any phase. Only fight phase.
2) Obliterators melta gun is down to 18 inch shots. So no longer get under half bonus out of deep strike. So didn’t just get screwed out of 4 Obliterators unit but also technically a damage reduction.
3) Somehow Lord Discordant is still not a vehicle.
Glad to see Vashtorr get some buffs, but feels bad as I just bought two boxes with the venomcrawlers and Obliterators.
Let's just hope the Obliterators get a substantial points cost nerf at least. :-/ at least you can advance them a bit in some factions now, but unlikely to really be worth it. Damn. One of our best solutions to the C'tan problem got hit pretty hard.
and max unit size of 2?
To be fair, Lord discordants make more sense as mounted... he's got more in common with a krootox rider than a predator tank
Venomcrawlers are still much stronger than they ever were under the relevant detachments. The daemon engines detachement is absolutely insane the rule works in both his weapons. Reavers also gives him assault and ap2, which makes him an amazing flanker
@@wesleyw7908 in that 1 detatchement is is probably far stronger I agree. Not so sure about in the Raiders one though, as the extra AP is on objectives only and it's also not realy where you'd chose to spend your CP for long charges etc. On average I think the old Slves to Darkness served him better tbh. Hard to accurately put a poits value on such a unit that varies so much according to detachment though.
The pactbound zealots also seem to have lost their chaos undivided enhancement (libra hereticus) which is extra weird if this is meant to be a word bearer thing
Every choice about this detatchment and datasheets for it is terrible
Always dependable.
Word bearers getting a nerfed version of the index is lame af
It's still quite good and you should have expected some nerfs/changes to the index, it's happened in every single book so far.
It's not only about being good. It's an absolute disgrace of an excuse for a Word Bearer detatchment. It's the only detatchment lacking it's core theme. There's Gal Vorbak Possessed on the main detatchment page in the codex, where is there any support for or indication of synergy for possessed/demons? Also add the HUGE nerfs both MoP and Possessed take to their datasheets. It's like they are spitting us in the face
Slight correction for Pick Them Off. Its reroll hits if the target is below starting and reroll wounds if the target is below half. So not quite as OP but still pretty good
Man, being a Space Marine player this just feels like a slap in the face. Its everything we do but way better. Better rules, abilites and model rules.
Because Chaos is eternal and is superior to order and law
We loyalists get to watch this latest power creep get nerfed soon…
@@lohikaarmeherra-1753 lol. Codex hasn't even been played by people who intentionally break codexes. Let's not wad our panties just yet
@@fateweaver9844 there is some stuff that one can see with a naked eye as problematic, and as stated, chaos has gets better stuff than loyalists, whose winrate they already top by 5-10% - another red flag.
@@lohikaarmeherra-1753 points determines everything. If the problematic units are overcosted those units will never be taken.
The cultist datasheet nerf has pissed me off. Now have 30+ painted cultist models with autoguns, flamers & stubbers that I can use….just because GW produced a shit kit with no weapons and chose to discontinue the shooty cultist mob from BSF.
Overall the codex looks great but this just pissed me off.
So do CSM not have a lieutenant equivalent anymore?
Yup lost it for a heavy flamer guy no one is going to take.
Please be so kind to explain what you mean. What heavy flamer guy?
@@andreioarcea7784 Chaos Firebrand, its the new Cultist character that does nothing better than the Dark Commune but has a d6+3 heavy flamer,
His rules make him pointless to take as the Dark commune is just so much better giving your 20 man cultist blob, 5+ invu, reroll leadership for dark pact and the once per battle +1 hit and wound.
Vs
Reroll leadership, and a unit hit by his flamer must take a battleshock test.
Wait, we can run jump pack lords that aren't night lords now?
As I have already seen, all the codex is online so the review is highly anticipated
Wonder which detachment is going to work best with Raptor/Warp Talon spam
Do I play Night Lords? Well.... yes
But battleshock isn't the most exciting atm
Raider one is good for that
I really like that new chaos lord, I’m gonna have to pick one up for the painting collection
HURON LIVES!!!! LFG!!! His move when approached and redeploy will work well with his detachment too
Interesting I wonder how that Deceptors force explosion strat would interact with ork Warhordes Careen strat
Super excited for this. I’m not sure I understand why you think the warptalons seem bad, they sound incredibly fun to play as written
The fellhammer detachment rule only applies to shooting attacks, so it's not as strong as we thought. Bit disappointing but still fun
So warp talons can do this but custodes were OP?..
IRON WARRIORS YEAH RAAAAARGHHHH
Thanks for the translation google.
Not the Exalted Champion!!! I use it every time just because I like that mini! Yes, not by rules or role, just because the mini is of my liking.
I'll probably end up using him as a chosen champion tbh because yeah, loved that mini
I'm very happy with the leaks so far. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the book itself.
Love the Iron Warriors detachment, but the rule is only vs ranged attacks
Man, I just finished modifying and designing some cultist models with autoguns and just printed some of their heavy weapon guys... that's really deflating. The rest of the codex looks cool but I was looking forward getting a mass of mortal troops as horde for my CSM to lead, all robed so it would fit with the dark commune and apostles I wanted to get, and then the stuff leaked about the damned detachment which got me thinking I was about to get what I wanted! Now it feels a little pointless, cultists have no more bite, and all the work I just did is more or less undone. Plus 3 squads of traitor guard really isn't enough to bother when they're 10 man each with nothing keeping them alive. Maybe some day they'll bring special weapons back and I could resume the project.
So I can’t mark my units if I’m not playing the WB detachment?
Also are beserkers, plague marines etc all elites?
Oh man.. what a relief.
Methodically putting together various chaos units since before 10th (in preparation) and the current game state seems to have players actually dreading thier full army rules update. Not fun times for everyone.
Looks like it will be fun times for me though.
Cypher was ruinous when his "fire back" ability wasn't OPT. I know a shop that likes doing Boarding Actions and frankly speaking he takes out half an army when people fire into him in that mode.
Black Legions are the first Army I made into 2000 pt, I mixed my Iron Warriors Termies and Chosen with Abbadon leading them
Regarding warp talons rule: it’s important to remember there is no distinction in the rules between yours and the opponents fight phase. The fight phase is universal and shared, and afaik all rules that trigger simply state “the fight phase” not a specific players fight phase.
similar rules definitely state end of 'opponents' fight phase...look at current Chaos bikers
Four dame videos in 24 hours!
What is wrong with you auspex ?!
the yearly 23 hrs between videos came earlier this week so there is some wiggleroom
So many (Excluding DAMNED Units) in these rules, I know the focus is on the Marines themselves but...
GW don't crush my dreams of a combined arms force of Chaos Marines and Traitor Guardsmen challenge (Impossible)
i was told, ya get a kroot detachment
@@istvanhorvath3306 ??????? What do Kroot have to do with this?
I bought these cultists earlier this year from GW and now I can't use them bc they lose their guns
You can always run 'em as Traitor Guard. Most opponants don't care that it's a cultist model - they'll have sympathy for you. Besides, a small human dude with a gun is a just a small dude with a gun. No-one cares exactly what type of 'small dude with gun' you're running - they're still pale and squishy compared to the mighty marines and tanks striding the battlefiled.
Good news is you can still use the a Pact-bound Zealots detachment to give them lethal hits or sustained hits. & if you run 'em as traitor guard they gain plasma and melta guns XD
Lethal hits for days! I took out a Land Raider Redeemer recently with a tzeentchy mob. Tanks and meltas did most of the damage - but the plucky autogunners were the last ones to shoot at it. Chucked a grenade and did 3 mortals and hit it with 9 Lethal wounds and watched as my opponant roled average for his saves and the redeemer died! XD. They'll ride again in 10th soon enough :)
Exalted champion still there. i saw his name in the contents page of the codex
Is that the contents page from the old 9th edition codex that they accidentally shared in the vid on Sunday? As if so I'm afraid that was a still from the 9th edition codex, not this one.
he is gone all of the datasheets and detachments have leaked now
@@auspextactics QWQ oooh sad face, i liked his +1 to hit. never had the mini cause is old.
Ah, great, do I have to do weapon swaps on my cultist mobs now since they've lost access to autoguns and special weapons? Or should I just run them as Traitor Guard units?
The Iron Warriors detachement is really strong. -1 to wound if their strength is higher than your defense can be incredibly annoying.
Alpha Legion, there is potential there. Some really funny tricks there as well. Infiltrating 30 legionairs is also mildly frightening.
Can't really speak for the others much....yet
IW is a one trick pony but we shall, it may be enough. The Raiders detachment and Soul forged are probably the most powerful imo, though I also like the Black Legion one.
@@lucask9651 yeah those are also good. Still, I think people are underestimating the Alpha Legion's bag of tricks detachment
Why’d I have to schedule my wedding for tomorrow
eiiih! Congratulations! Enjoy the day, it'll all be worth it after months of planning XD. Enjoy the well deserved rest with your beloved afterwards :)
@@lousy7580 that's what weddings are: a huge and monumental pain in the ass where you'll do more work and feel more stressed than you probably will in your entire life. But that's why you save them for someone special. They're the final test to see how good your relationship is with the person you love the most in the whole world - the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Your partner will be just as stressed, if not more stressed out than you are. Particularly if they're a very 'girly' girl who grew up on disney princesses. Weddings are even more of an incredibly huge deal for them. Every thing has to be perfect to justify decades of pent up hype and hope. So everything becomes 1000 times more stressful.
The bride will always be spending way more time than you on looking absolutely perfect in their wedding dress, and their gal pals will be helping them through quite a complex ritual on a garment that people aren't used to wearing/ takes time to even make fit and feel comfortable in.
For better or worse, wedding prep requires everyone to focus on the bride way more than the groom, and it's been that way for millenia. It sucks, but nobody else will have time to fix all the millions of little things that can go wrong with such a massive event. That's why the man has to suck it up and be the errand boy. The man has to 'man-up' and take responsibility. That's just par for the course, that is the reality of every groom.
Ask any man who ever had a happy wedding and a happy marriage. They'll all say it was an absolute nightmare and a pain in the arse and they had to take on way more responsibility than they'd ever needed to in their life until then. But it was all worth it for the slow dance afterwards and the night with their beloved. And all the nights that came after til the end of their days.
Does Vashtorr only gives "Daemon Vehicle" Units +1S? Because in the Index there was no "Daemon Vehicle" Keyword. Just Vehicle and Daemon as separate Keywords.
Wow! its so good! I love it =)
The strategems for the IW seems good, but kind of easily defeated after just one wound. Granted if your REAL good (or lucky) a unit may always have -1 to wound. I would have loved something that was the opposite of the Anvil Siege detachment, like anything with ___ gains ____ or give them the IF old detachment rule where 6s on bolters get an extra attack (though I started after that so I don't know how broken it was). Or even what if they had some kind of rule that gives them added attack, pen, or strength if attacking things behind cover (since they're all about the siege)
Does abaddon have his marks in the equivalent of “slave to darkness detachment”?
Is Emperor's Children a confirmed faction for 10th ed?
Pretty much yeah, it wont be any time soon but them being removed from this codex and put into their own index means they are definitely getting a codex release this edition
Suprised at noise marines not being in since you can take the other god legions infantry like rubrics berserkers and plagues
You can still take Noise Marines in the same way you can take other God Marines, they’re just not in this book anymore because they’re in the new Emperor’s Children index
Glad to see Huron didn't kick the bucket.
Huron > Whorus
I like Veterans a lot. It does what I want Black Legion to do. The nics blend of offense and combat mobility, with a defensive backstop, is what I really like to see.
Vashtorr makes enemy ranged weapons hazardous, holy crap 🤭😱😈
Hopefully Perturabo comes back and teams up with Vashtorr and maybe some Titan legions to make the dark mechanicum
FOR THE DARK GODS!!! Ive been waiting for this since end of 9th, qnd it looks Glorious!!!
Possesseds were nerfed, also Obliterators S12 weapons was reduced in range to 18 inches
Man I wish whoever wrote this codex wrote the dark angels one
Thats it im starting an iron warriors army
It's really tough for me to see how great this Codex is. Dark Angels got completely screwed, most of our units nerfed or just plain deleted- and we were given nothing in return. I just don't understand how this Chaos Codex can exist in the same edition as DA. How can you ever put an army on the table against Chaos's amazing datasheets, incredible detachments, and perfect synergy strategems and hope to not get tabled by end of T2 with a codex like DA, Admech, or Custodes?
They over-did the codex, like in 9th ed. Balance team will fix it.
Some decent rules for once but GW committing to more unit and option removal continues to be a deal breaker. Cant believe obliterators are stuck at 2 now, gun cultists (a staple of series like gaunts ghost or eisenhorn) are gone, and the lord discordant continues to get punished from 8th edition. Maybe 11th will remember this is suppose to be tangle top wargaming and not chess.
Some fun detachments to try out for sure, but with all the nerfs added in and things they did not bother to fix at all, I'm somewhat skeptical as to where the book will end up. Tricky to really say due to the whole untried/tested soulforged detachment, but the rest seems soso. Some nerfs seemed totally unnecessary tbh (on units that were not exactly dominating before, that recently got a slight point-cost reduction, which now kind of makes them worse than they were before again).
I'm interested in AoWs take on this codex. They'll be doing a full review in the AM tomorrow.
Tabletop Tactics will be posting a BR Saturday morning at around 4AM Central US time, 5AM EST. Or thereabouts.
MoP and Possessed getting HUGE nerfs for what? 0 support for them in any detatchments
@@Imaheretic_ yea. left me scratching my head a bit too tbh. Maybe some Eldar player on the design team didn't like that his Farseer/Warlocks could be sniped. I don't know...
They were nerfed because a ton of players have them, bumping up othrr units that need to be sold, next update another unit that still sits in their warehouse will get a point decrease and then later on will get forgotten/cycled out.
@@Anameisgiven well, some truth to that most likely, but on the other hand they are also actively discouraging people from buying the new possessed/MoP box for example. odd.
Ohhhhh, my cultists ain't happy. Tzeentching it up with heavy stubbers and autoguns no more...
You can run 'em as Traitor Guard in a Pact-bound Zealots detachment. Now they gain plasma and melta guns XD
Lethal hits for days! I took out a Land Raider Redeemer recently with a tzeentchy mob. Tanks and meltas did most of the damage - but the plucky autogunners were the last ones to shoot at it. I have a feeling the index is still going to be the strongest maybe black legion but that being said they don’t have anything that seems super exciting it’s just they weren’t butchered like custodes so people are happy lol
I collect Iron Warriors so I'm really only going to play Siege Host and it seems ok? It's not the Ork book for sure.
It's good that it isn't bad, 10th has a huge track record of awful rules
Thematic, has good tools, buffs big guns
I mean we were eating even better for 9 months in 9th, it's okay if itsn't competative, but at least it's good design
Shame about enhancements, 2 personal melee buffs and both mediocre
Iron within
bruh every faction in 10th is just a different way of giving your units lethal or sustained. this is almost the same thing as custodes
The full book is out i hav a full copy of it here
Want a cookie?
I was scared Huron would be gone. Gimme a new model!!!
Dammnit they stole my cultist special weapons, don't like that.
Not a very exciting prospect paying £35 for this seeing as so little has changed, a few more detachments sure but hardly justified, and the jump lord not getting access to a daemon hammer when loyalists do has frustrated me more than I thought it could have.
Poor oblits, they've ben units of 3 as long as I can remember, now they'd rather reduce that than release a proper kit for them...
Up and downwith good vs bad, I just want to know if the flavour of chaos is coming back at all, or just gtting more and more bland
So 3 units of 10 warp talons then until next Tuesday and then it will be zero warp talons
RIP Exalted Champion i guess.... that and the mono-loadout cultists really killed the hype for me.
I mean it's a lose for sure but we gained a whole lot more, so atleast it's more good than bad.
Call me Pyrocynical becasue I'm about to inlfate my every Rhino-chassis vehicle with daemons
iron warriors feel tougher than deathguard
2 or 3 looking good the rest i think was a waste of time to even include lol
Just nerfed my obliterators. There's no use for them now. Such a stupid move. 2 man do nothing now for 180 they'll get killed too easily once they're spotted. The Tzeench resurrect with them was the play

because nobody knows which side their own. Even the Alpha Legion themselves. Technically they went traitor, but its not really clear if they went full Chaos or not. I doubt it. Its more some fell and others dont.
Cypher is Omegon

I'm Sparticus!
oh wait, wrong reference 😝
What is a Damned Unit? Is it a Keyword?
yes. All cultist type squishy human models will have this keyword in the new codex. Surprisingly not Chaos Spawn though.
You'd think that spawn would be the epitome of what a 'damned' model is but hey ho. I guess GW couldn't think of a word that included all the resident Evil 4 style cultist units but not the squiggly shoggoth monsters. ... ... ...
even though squiggly monster is exactly the kind of thing the RE4 cultists can turn into so ahhh!!! It makes so much sense, why didn't GW just include them!?
@@In_Purple_Clad Thank you :)
So dark pacts got nerfed that kind of sucks but it seems to be the same for most codexes
