Rocky and Eric were so mesmerized by the cute kitten-in-a-sporran that they didn't notice the pleats in front. I noticed it because I am immune to cats.:)
The Chewbacca sporran is hilarious. I wouldn't do it, but it's pretty funny. Maybe make it smaller, so it's more subtle.

The purple sporran is made of pure undyed isle of sky female haggis pelt. Hence its rarity. Shed hair is collected and used by tartan makers.
The first one is clearly a Star Wars fan, who's had a little too much of the bad stuff poured down his throat.
A Wookie gave it's life for that.
So, i decide to enjoy bad design with my coffee.

I went to the the Ren Fair a few weeks ago. Dang, so many people had pleats in front!!! (including a couple friends who I corrected, and they oblidged, eanting to do it right. Thanks for being so willing guys!)

That last jacket- there used to be a Macintosh program called Clarisworks way back in the day, pre-Photoshop, that had different patterns you could use as a "fill;" that jacket pattern looks exactly like one of them, and it was every bit as hard to look at then as it is now.

The first one is definitely for Star Wars fans. The warrior Roman meets Scots.
The race car driver is Lewis Hamilton. He is a British formula 1 driver and currently the most successful driver in F1 history. He is known for having some pretty "unique" bespoke outfits.
He has also been trying to branch out into fashion and music. I'm glad they renewed his contract for 2 more years as a race car driver. It will at least delay having to see more things like that.
To be fair snoop just had his socks pulled up and not folded over his flashes. That's it.

My eyes are bleeding… Seriously I’m in the process of getting my first Kilt and when I see people making a big joke out of wearing: IT PISSES ME RIGHT OFF! Im doing this very carefully and still I’m getting cross-dresser taunts! THOSE JOKERS ARE DOING A DISRESPECTFUL THING TO THE KILT AND WHAT IT STANDS FOR!!!
Och, dear God, What are people thinking? I am with you on this, Rocky. All but the very last foto were absolute abominations of how to wear kilts, the last foto was not bad except the jacket needed toning down a wee bit. I feel the enamel on my teeth has been stripped off without anesthesia. Btw, the wee kitten was a nice touch, ...about the only sanity.😂
I absolutely enjoyed this but the horror to our heritage. Why anybody would ever think of putting half this garb on is beyond me. Definitely could go for a part two. Love the reactions to this nonsense. Kilted for life!!

If I had to pick one of these to wear, the last one wasn’t half bad. It wasn’t great and could be better, but it wasn’t the worst one out of all the ones in the video.
Gonna be a Macsween haggis this halloween
My first kilt was a costume kilt from a renn fest it was a poly blend kilt and I loved the material it was like a worsted wool suit light and comfy. My next one was a comfy kilt from kilt from sport kilt and I love them for robing, or pjs in public sleeping on a trip with a church group etc. then I bought a SK kilt with pockets and an elastic waist eventually I have bought 3 other ultimate sport kilts with pockets I love them but the price is high and the fit is a little off it gets to short in back. I have also bought 4 survival utility kilts from Celtic Croft and I have several tartanista kilts that I love. And I bought several DNKE kilts with pockets my fave utility kilts is covert style with rear, cargo, and slash pockets I out grew them and cannot get larger than 48. My last kilt was from “traditional kilts” a Pakistan group that is made to order with all measurements and a gorgeous isle of sky plaid.
None of my kilts are wool too mich$$$ for a daily wearer, and the others are warm enough for me year round. I have one from wish that had issues. My friend has one of yours too. I would like a thin worsted wool kilt if you have them. Like

I’m with you for everything except the national team for the commonwealth games. It’s certainly a bold choice, but it pays respect to the tradition while mixing it with some modern style choices. It’s not a timeless look, but it IS a look of the times, which isn’t a bad thing.

sporrans simply were worn really long back in the 19th century. it was IN, it was the fashion, it was probably the decent thing to do to preserve modesty and whatnot. so what's so bad about it?!

Do you have to worry about a Great Kilt unraveling since it's just a plain square of fabric?
No, you don't. Tartan cloth is woven, not knit, so it won't unravel. Knit fabrics (sweaters, etc) can unravel if they get a pull. Woven fabrics might fray a bit, but they don't unravel.
From my own experience, the only time a great Kilt would unravel is if you took the belt off.
Some people will wear anything.
The only ones I didn’t like were the Halloween costumes. I wouldn’t get offended if I seen them in the street because it’s just tat, a bit of fun and not meant to actually be traditional dress (Pst I am Scottish). I actually rather liked the purple sporran haha! With the right kilt it could be rather dashing. Patchwork tartan outfit was a bit meh (mostly because I’m meh on patchwork in general) but I did like the tartan suits. Takes a certain amount of balls to wear that amount of tartan out nowadays and if you do I say go for it! I’m indifferent to the Commonwealth Tartan. I don’t hate it, the colours DO work but it’s not something I’d go for if I had other options.
EDIT: forgot about the Wookiee.. if it was smaller it would be fine but it’s so big! Definitely overcompensating at current size.
