your channel is the best by far. no gimmicks, sale pitches, etc you are straight to the point and very informative. I wish more channels were like this. real estate for example. you are dope 💪🏾
Hi Aubrey - great channel, solid content. one of the things you may not be aware of is that you can often get the clones of the 2010-2012 Ford Escape for less money. These are the Mazda Tribute and the Mercury Mariner. The same holds true for the earlier Ford Fusions were based on the Mazda 6 design and used the same engines and transmissions as the Mazda 6. The Mercury Milan is a more luxurious version of the Fusion for less money on the used market. Sometime in the future I hope to start my own Turo business and as a subscriber, I really appreciate your honesty and your content.
What I love is that you point out that an inventory of sober sedans is better than flashy cars. Renting to the person who needs sensible transportation is going to be a sensible person (usually). Someone wanting the off-roader probably wants to go off-road, but may not know how to do it safely. The person wanting the sports car may not know how to handle the power. Pick the boring car because boring customers are the reliable customers. The Theta engines in some of the Hyundais, particularly the early 2010s are potential big problems. They are a recall/extended warranty item, but you may need to check if you qualify if you are buying used. It also takes time to get the engine replaced because of the backlog.
Very true about the Nissan sentra. I purchased a 2013 Sentra in 2016 for my medical courier route. Within 60,000 miles it needed a new transmission. Luckily it was covered but then less than 100,000 miles later the other transmission went and it was on my dime. Before the car got totaled it's starting having more transmission problems on the third transmission. I got out of that one but barely.
I like that. "All cars can bring revenue, but not all cars can bring you profit". Thanks for the info. I have two BMW, one 2018 I3 BMW EV and a 2014 320i. I just discover TURO. Hope to place them on Turo platform next month after doing my DD. I also have a F250 Ford Pickup truck that I used one or two times a month for my business. Maybe I can place it on Turo too, if possible. Or maybe I need to sell my two BMW and buy some of your recommended vehicles. Any advise will be appreciated. Thank you'll in advance.
I totally agree with your comment on Jeep depreciation... People often talk about depreciation of NEW cars... But people don't realize that the depreciation on a USED Jeep is zero... Or even negative!
This is the perfect list to start, sincerely thank you, I’m in central Florida area and will add a Grand Caravan to my list along with some of the ones you mentioned because it just makes sense for my geographical area.. many thanks and blessings to you!
Thank you for your insights. I would say, at least around here, a lot of people do some shady Sonata dealing by buying wrecked ones and then fixing them up, but in reality the frame is damaged and no longer would protect someone driving it as well as a lot of parts could go bad if they were damaged. If you ever see an airbag light on or anything that might indicate a crash I would definitely stay away from those. Also I had one suggestion for the videos. If possible maybe adjust the volume up a little bit so the ad volume isn't blaring when they pop up. Thanks again for the turo suggestions. I am probably going to purchase a few cars of my own in the near future to fund the car I am really after.
