Definitely usable The new lens is just lighter and has an aperture ring, which is great but it’s pretty much the same lens.

Man I’m so overly obsessed with building out my FX30 A7IV and even my little zv1ii. I feel like I need therapy or something. This is great build.
I use np batteries with a special mount to power my camera and monitor with dummy batteries. One battery will run everything for about 2 hours. And it’s cheap off of Amazon. Your set up is perfect but for the man on a budget can check it out. 😉 Also great video

It really depends on what you film and what your needs are
Yes for sure! I also come like you from BM land and I always find out BM has overall better image. But for some work situations a Sony would fit better.Not sure to keep to different systems. The new FF BM is also an awesome camera in points of image quality.@@Alexzarfatifilms
I hate that in 1080 this interview set up looks shit. but then 4k its fantastic and secured a sub from me. hate youtube and compression but grateful youre not like many gear heads that actually suck with the gear

Super random but are you in Miami ? I think I recognized my masjid in Miami Gardens in some of your shots. I'm using the exact same setup minus the side handle, I feel like it gets in my way more than it's helping. I use a Ninja V as a monitor but it's really too heavy for my needs. Have you tried the Portkeys monitor before picking up the Shimbol ?

I use almost the same setup except for the mic handle because I have an A7IV. And I use a far cheaper mic, but I record with a lav most of the time anyway. The Smallrig stuff is great!
Is there a way to setup a rig that can be easily "stripped" back and forth to fly on a gimbal?
I definitely gotta pick up that XLR cable….that rig is clutch!
